Today, I was invited to a Hip Hop Yoga session on the terrace at TopGolf which was instructed by Shannon Harley. Even though I arrived late, and the terrace was jammed pack with a lot of yogis, I found a little spot to join in. The flow was the total of the mediation yoga I am familiar with but, it was fun. More so of a cardio workout with less action; yet, fun. After yoga, it was chow time! My friend Santi and I beelined to TopGolf's indoor lounge and bar area. I grabbed an Angry Orchard & their Pepperoni Flatbread. My friend, Santi, took the healthier route with a glass of water and their Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Tots. We loved their food, and our waitress Lexi. But, in general, a lot of the wait staff wasn't educated on their drink / beer options as they had to ask each other what's this or what's that when we asked if they had a certain beer brand. Also, the tables was a bit too small as our appetizers' was hanging off the edge in the seemingly narrow walkway as one person almost knocked our dish over and nearly missed clubbing my friend in the face with a golf club when he turned around to speak to the person behind him. My family/friends and I always have fun at top golf. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is grand and it's perfect for a rainy or sunny day! The games are so much fun and I recommend the one where you have to aim for the three closest targets whenever it prompts you to. It's competitive and will be enjoyed by the whole group. The staff is very attentive and always friendly. We ordered the Mac and cheese bites and they were very good. The only complaint that I have is that we came at 10:30 am and had to play on the ground floor, and when we asked to go up to a higher floor we were told that we'd have to wait an hour and a half (when the prices increase). Not sure why this was when there were multiple bays available on every other level. Some of our group were disappointed as they feel it's harder and not as fun on the first floor. read more

After spending almost 2 hours trying to get a refund (after speaking with 6 different people) I was finally connected with a manager named Taylor who then told me to basically shut up and then hung up on me. Also, all the rubber tees were broken! Im still trying to get the refund of the charge that was applied the day after I was there.... Another fun time this past holiday weekend, similar review from just a couple weeks ago's visit. some new feedback to share, 1. It would be nice to possibly reserve table tables instead of the couches, or maybe 1 of each , don't get me wrong the couches are ok, but the table tops are more comfortable and easier. 2. The shared fans didn't cut it this past visit, they are great when focused on your bay, but they do swivel and share between 2 bays, so i understand it is a cost savings, but the humidity and heat was really rough this past weekend, even for a 7:30pm reservation. 3. Need better control of the miniature golf area, there was lots of little toddlers playing which was awesome, but sadly too many smokers and even someone smoking pot, this is just not right with little ones out there for family night. I went to Topgolf this past weekend with a few friends for the first time and had an excellent time shagging balls. We arrived at opening Saturday morning, and because we already had a reservation we did not have to wait in the line outside that was waiting to get in. We went straight to our box where we were greeted by one of the staff that explained how to get started to us. After a few minutes of getting everyone in the computer we were ready to start hitting some balls. We had a server that took care of us during our play. She got us all drinks and food. The food was excellent; we had fried mac bites, chicken nachos, and pretzel bites. I had a blood mary to drink witch was really tasty, but was very week on the alcohol side; not worth the $9 it cost. They have a full bar and an ok selection of beer on draft. As far as the main reason for coming here we had an excellent time shagging balls out into the driving range; even got a little live action target practice in when they sent out the cart to collect balls. She is one of the best waitresses we have had anywhere. She was friendly and personable. She even gave me some great pointers on my golf swing. I'm one of those golfers who has a hard time hitting the ball altogether. Her tips made my experience much more enjoyable. The food and drinks were delicious! The prices for the amount of food we got were more than fair. We split three appetizers and we couldn't finish them. This place is awesome. I had an internal error with them and had a birthday party booked in their Texas location. Although there wasn't much they could do, they were able to get me 4 bays next to each other on short notice to accommodate my 30 guests and the server we had was amazing. Anytime I go, I always check to see how long the wait is first. And it seems like anytime I walk in, the wait is maybe five minutes, at the very most it's been 10 minutes, but that was pre-pandemic. Within the last year, I can walk in, and go right to a bay. Awesome. The service is always great, the food is always surprisingly more substantial than I think it's going to be. Let me start of by saying that I absolutely do not golf. I went to a driving range once as a kid, took a few swings and kept it moving never looking back . My buddies dragged me out to what I was absolutely sure was going to be a lame experience..... I couldn't have been more wrong. I definitely lost every round but the concept of hitting the ball coupled with the technology that tracks it, then provides instant feedback on the results- kept me interested. Either I am getting in touch with my inner Geezer or perhaps after a couple of drinks, was more open to the idea of taking the days frustrations out on a tiny ball that I didn't have to chase after was pretty damn awesome . The facility is impressive and the staff and service level is excellent. The drinks were a bit overpriced but considering the location, bit too much so. There was a pretty good selection of bourbons to choose from and the pours, while not heavy- were at least honest. I had a great time here. As someone who would never in a million years have walked through the doors without some peer pressure and coercion, I would definitely come back to Top Golf. If you thought golfing was just for your dad, give it a chance. Golf is still boring- but Top Golf is something else and worth a visit! read more

This was my first time there it is a driving range with "micro-chipped " golf balls which are able to monitor your shot and thus your score ( pending as to how close to the target you get). Each section can have about 4 people Three monitors are available for watching ONE for TV, one for the score and one for the company . A full menu is available along with drinks from your attendants I did not eat so I cannot comment on the food You pay for your driving range section by the hour. The cost is dependent on the time of day..most expensive time is $45 /hour. An hour was plenty for me and my daughter to have a great time and honestly I have not swung a golf club in some time --i did not need to do anymore. And to be clear you never have to play golf. Just so much fun. I've been here a couple of times, and it's always been packed. We spent about an hour in the bar waiting for an open bay. I felt the bartender was a little inattentive and our order took a bit longer to arrive than I think it should have, but the drinks were good. Driving the balls was a blast. We waited about 45 minutes for a bag. We went to get food on the second floor but unfortunately it took longer to get the food than wait for our bay. We waited on our food for over an hour. The food is ok, it's not bad but it's ok . The wings were pretty good though! I would highly recommend those! I'm not the best at golf, but it was still really fun for me. You dont need to be a golfer to have a good time at Topgolf. Recommend you reserve a bay ahead of time, otherwise you could wait 3-4 hours to play! I've been probably a dozen times since this location opened- for group outings, work functions, and date nights. A bay at night costs $45/ hour so best to split with a group of friends (6 people per bay). Food is just typical bar food, but the cocktails are pretty tasty. Best part is it's so easy to play at this driving range- especially if you are hitting the ball from the 2nd or 3rd floor. Also it's a great time no matter the weather! The bays have heaters & fans and last Saturday it was torrential downpours and we didn't get wet at all! Love the club vibe, music, and rooftop bar. read more

We had some different appetizers during our golfing experience and they were super tasty. Try the flat bread and chips n' dips! Prices are very fair and the servings were generous. Everyone can play: This is an awesome venue for all! No matter what age you are. We had people who golf every week and some had never played. EVERYONE had fun! Told me I couldn't order any food, need to head down stairs if I want to added more entrees. Wow really, yall need to do better with customer service. Time was 3:05pm and several bays were open. I've been to this location three times and obviously like coming here but the reason for the 4 stars vs 5 is it's a little pricey. This is the 2nd Top golf location that I've been too. I like the one in Wood Dale, IL better but glad that we have a location in JAX. Not all locations follow the same rules or pricing structure. All players needs a membership card due to liability purposes. The basic is a $5 lifetime membership. Not horrible but adds up for a family of 4. I was surprised by this requirement since it's not a requirement for the Wood Dale location. Membership can be purchased online or at the Guest Services desk. Make sure you ask about the wait time at the desk because wait time can very greatly and you'll be put on a waiting list after getting your membership card. All returning members, go to the Concierge desk to reserve a bay. Online reservations are available as well. See tip for details. The first time, we came on a Sunday after noon and our wait time was 1 hr. Since location is by the Town Center, we actually left and ran some errands but made sure we were back in 45 mins so the hr wait wasn't too bad. The second time we came on a Sunday at 11:45 am. We used the online reservation and ended up not getting a bay until 30 mins later. Apparently they sent a text to notify us that our bay was ready but we never received it. The bay rental rate starts when you're at the bay so by then, the cost of the bay had gone up to $35. I told our waitress about it and she was able to get the manager to address the issue. Manager ended up giving us an extra 1/2 hr. The most recently visit was on a Wed evening around 7 pm. The wait time was only at 15 mins and I received a text without any issues. In 1 hr, a party of 4 can probably squeeze in 2 games. The food and drinks is billed separately from the bay rental. The food is actually pretty good, although portions can be small for the price. The service has always been great. The bays are climate control but bring a jacket or sweater just in case because if it's cold out and it's your turn to play, you'll feel some of the draft. There is a restaurant at the main level which I've never dined in because we like to order while we play. There are wet-naps in the tray that hold the sugar packets. The upper level has a TV, lounge sofas, and a foosball table. Overall it's fun entertainment for the entire family, even people that don't enjoy golfing (like myself). read more

Frequent player at togolf in our hometown in GA and had a rainy day on vacation so visited this location. Aside from the horrible gripping on the clubs that wouldn't allow for proper swings, the worst part was at the end of our "round" when our time was up, after just two minutes of sitting and finishing our drinks, the server came up and told us "normally you can't hang out after your time is up. You're ok right now but can't hang out in the bay". I was taken aback as it was just 2 minutes after our time was up and it wasn't overly busy. It would be understandable if we were taking 15-20 minutes to finish our drinks but this was just ridiculous and extremely disappointing. Will not be going back to this location. read more

This was my first time here. My brother and I took my dad out for his birthday. It was pretty fun. We got there when they first opened at 9am. We were seated on the 2nd level. Felt like I was back at a college party. Upstairs had a waiting area as well as the bar downstairs. It was a little humid the day we went so we waited inside for our turn to golf. Our beloved family 30th birthday! We were unable to reserve a bay. It was most of our first time there. Wait staff were understaffed and overwhelmed. We did not get a waiters attention for about 15 to 20 minutes. To their credit our entire party did not arrive yet. Drinks were expensive. Chicken wings baked is not the move. Just remember to order fired. Quest dip was out of stock. However, the chicken dip was yummy. Cheese bites were tasty. The steak tacos were the pice de resistance. We asked wait staff to out the ice cream cake in the refrigerator for storage. We finally got the manager Mike to place the cake in the refrigerator. Needless to say we had ice cream souffle. I love TopGolf and think it is a great way to have fun/compete with friends. I've never been great at golf, but this place makes it so fun! My only issue with topgolf is the food/drinks. The drinks are expensive ($9+) and don't taste good - mostly like sugary water. I got a Patron Paloma over the weekend and I tasted no alcohol but paid $11.50. So if you do go here & drink, I recommend beer/wine instead. The food is decent but nothing spectacular. The menu is quite extensive so I'm sure everyone can find something to eat. I'm just not the biggest fan of the quality/taste. Despite the food/drinks, it is still a really fun experience. But you have to get there at a decent time and/or make a reservation because wait times on Saturday were 2.5+ hours. read more

Cool place - think bowling alley set up except for golf. First you need a membership card $5 for life then you need a bay to play - much like a lane at a bowling alley. Customer service is a focus which is good as the wait staff can keep the food and drinks flowing - which ultimately results in what could be an expensive evening. Their rates increase throughout the day - open until noon is $25 per hour, then $35 per hour until 5p, then $45 per hour until close. Weekdays they close at midnight but on weekends they close at 2a. They try to have a club vibe with music and flashing lights on your golf targets. They do offer memberships which is a good deal as I know a few folks that have joined. If you are with a couple or two, the rates aren't so bad - it took 3 of us about 50 minutes to get through 2 games. I recommend taking about 5 shots each to not only help pace but also get in a rhythm. The whole concept is genius and this place is printing money. With three tiers/stories of bays the place is always pretty full. Come during prime times and you can probably count on a wait. read more
