This is the worst Topgolf to exist by far. I've been to several and never had an issue. The first time we came in Feb 2022, the staff barely came to our table and we had to go find them to order more drinks. We tried again in Oct 2023 and the ball dispenser was broken. Our waiter told us to open from the top and just take balls out but then it didn't track our hits. The ball kept getting jammed where it was supposed to come out and took time off our play. Our waiter then just opened the bottom of the ball dispenser which worked for about 10 min until another staff came and closed it stating we weren't allowed to do that so it was jammed again. Today, we walked in around 11am and were told it's a 2-3 hour wait because their hosting staff for some of the bays didn't show. We just said ok and put our name on the waitlist. We were specifically told it would be at least an hour and a half but there were 5 people ahead of us. We drove about 15 minutes down the road and received a text that our bay was ready. The inconsistencies are ridiculous. It's unfortunate this is the closest location to us because you have to prepare for disappointment and something to go wrong before you get there. It's been open awhile now so I figured it would get better, but I guess not. Edit to add: we were told by front desk we would have 15 minutes to get here from the text. He (an older man) added we could ask for 30. We received the text and needed at least 20 so we asked for 30. I tried to call to make sure this was correct but there is not an option to talk to a person live (this was verified by a manager. Apparently you can respond to the text with a question but we were not told that). When we arrived the same man stated we still have an hour and a half wait. Another lady stated the 30 minutes added us to the back of the line. They said there was nothing we could do and continued to say "I don't know why you received that text." I asked to talk to someone and the man responded "that's not going to help but do what you want." We ended up talking to someone else who stated the text was not the ready text, it is just seeing where people are. Apparently there is another text sent when the table is ready that is different and not communicated by staff. The last lady we talked to agreed there is poor communication about it. They then tried to accommodate by giving us the training bay (1st floor all the way to the side - arguably the worst bay) but they were going to charge us the rate from 12-5 ($10 more) because we had to sit and wait for a resolution from 1140-1205. It is very obvious this place does not care about their costumers. This particular location says a lot about Topgolf as a whole. I don't know how it still operates. We were then told it's still a wait and there's no bay unless we take the training bay. We decided to leave at 1205. We get home at 1217 and we receive a call that a bay is available.... I think I spent more in gas going back and forth than gameplay would have been. We opted to not give them any more money and just stayed home. read more

I explained if my friend reached into their cash register and stole $0.50 she would be arrested so what makes the waitress think it's ok to not give back her change. She also stated she is not the one who would bring us waters as she is the waitress that's usually someone else who gets the waters. It was about 36 minutes before we received any water. This was my first time here. I totally loved it. We did a team building event there and it was a perfect day to be outside. The set up is pretty easy. I didn't use the service counter because someone else was in charge but overall my experience was great. The food is really good. I have included some pictures. Go try it out. Had so much fun here! The inside is so clean and exciting! The bars are so cool. We went on a Tuesday for half price game play Tuesday. Highly recommended to reserve your time slot ahead of time. It was easy to do and the day of our arrival, I was able to check in online, and they sent me a text with our bay number. We entered all of our players' names in the computer and then we had 2 hours of play. We enjoyed pitchers of beer and our daughter enjoyed a margarita while we played. We ordered the guacamole and chips to share. Our server was very nice, and she brought our drinks and food out quickly. The guacamole was really good, but the chips looked like we got the bottom of the bag. A great experience and can't wait to go again! read more

Terrible service makes for a terrible experience. The place wasn't busy this past Thursday so the 25 minute wait for drinks was a little ridiculous, then we ordered food, a Cobb salad wrap, wings and fries. Finished golfing by the time it arrived COLD. When told the fries were cold, the server shrugged and asked if I wanted them removed from the check. Actually, I'd like hot fries, but since that was the only option given, yeah just take em off. The margarita was terrible and your water tastes weird. It's clear this place has given up, the rumors of bankruptcy make a lot of sense to me now. If you're looking for good times with friends or a date, find somewhere else. This is so much fun. My family and I went here for my dad's birthday on a Sunday morning at 10:40. We had a great time with the different golf experiences that we had. We played for about two hours of golf, which was excellent. And then after that, we decided to eat lunch at the bar on one of the fours. We selected the first floor had got to watch TVs everywhere. I got to watch the Steelers game which I enjoyed. And we got to play free games while we waited. We played shuffleboard and foosball and we had a great time. The food was also good. The golf experience is good but the food customer service is garbage for people with allergies like myself (not that the food is high quality in general based on our apps). I ordered a taco no dairy - got it after 40 minutes incorrectly with crema which the server tried to tell me was different than cream until I asked him what crema meant, then got it a second time 20 minutes later with both crema and cheese, then the server claimed the manager was going to make. A half hour later - now we're at a 1.5+ hour process, brought it out incorrectly a 3rd time!! (The server said as he handed it to me it was incorrect so why not tell the people actually making the food so can bring it correctly - actual insanity) Huge waste of time, not money since didn't charge for item. There's a palpable thrill in the air as you enter. The energy in the atmosphere is contagious. Greeted by the front desk help, you're given what bay number you will tee off in. I highly recommend reserving a time slot instead of joining the waitlist. I've never had to wait for our bay and I'm not sure how long it'd be if you don't reserve. Once you're given your bay number, it's off you go. You have to enter names, memberships (which can be tricky if you have younger golfers). Sign in time is minimal and you're time doesn't actually start until you've emerged all information. Your host/hostess will introduce themselves, answer any questions you may have and are very attentive. At some point a manager in a red shirt should appear to check in as well. I have no complaints with gameplay, surrounding guests, noise, nothing. Even when the night turned chilly we were asked if we'd like our heat adjusted. The ONLY complaint I had for this visit was the wait time for the food and the quality of the products. After waiting for almost an hour, our food arrived. We had the meatalina flatbread, mini pretzel bites, cheesy macaroni bites, chopped chicken Caesar salad and the all American burger. The meatalina's toppings were falling off, maybe due to lack of cheese, and it was cold. With the all American burger, condiments come on the side, it arrived without any and without lettuce that we'd asked for. Now, I understand that restaurants like to toast their buns but when you can hear the crunch over the hubbub, it may be a little too toasted. By the time our food had gotten to the table our time had almost run out for our reservation. My kids were hungry and I was ready to go, so I didn't ask or have anything taken back. For me, with the cost of the experience, consistency is key. Our first visit, I had nothing but great things to say, food was great; my second visit made me reconsider ordering from here. Have been to Top Golf on several Tuesdays and a Saturday now. Half price Tuesdays for game play! There is usually a wait... so check online before hand for possible reservations or to get on the waitlist. Service is always present/asking if you need anything at the bays. Usually it's insanely busy on Saturdays, so I'd recommend getting pitchers of drinks (vs single beers) and ordering your food upon arrival. Really enjoyed the queso as an appetizer. read more

I took my son here on the spur of the moment. He had never swung a golf club in his life. I'm recovering from rotator cuff surgery and was afraid to. But we had the best time. The heaters there are great! I am cold natured and found myself taking off my jacket. The food was OK, maybe priced a bit high, but presented nice. Food service was a bit slow; it wasn't very busy yet, as we arrived at noon on Friday. Everyone was nice and helpful. I wish someone would have offered us more of a training on how to work the equipment, but we figured it out enough. We really did have a good time, but felt the cost was a bit high. 2 hours and 2 meals were around $150, so I wouldn't come frequently. It's a fun experience. You should definitely go. The case of poorly set expectations rears it's ugly head. I was expecting lights brighter than the sun, top notch service, and great food/drinks. This could not have been further from the truth. They were out of the first 3 things I ordered which shows inadequate management and planning. The understaffing was ridiculous meaning each server was helping way too many people to provide quality service to anyone. I am not a golfer. I did not come for the golf. I came for a drinking and eating experience which proved to be lackluster at best. During our 2 hour visit, I think we ordered 2 drinks total. I ordered a sauce with my food and the sauce came out alone, with no food. This was a shameful experience. I won't choose to go again, but I may end up here for an occasion. read more

We went tonight to watch a football game. The screens are huge so we were excited. That didn't last long because the streaming was horrible. The picture was so bad we couldn't even read the player numbers. We were at the 2nd floor bar area. The bartender was good and that's where the service ended. We had 10 people buying food and drinking and had to go to the bar each time we wanted to place an order. No one checked on us or bussed our table, despite managers being in the area and servers and other staffers laughing it up and having a good time. We felt invisible. Top Golf claims to be an entertainment venue but they don't run it like that. It's all about the golf. With their big screens and big lounge areas they could be packed but they would have to learn how to be customer focused. They are not. Managers walked by and did not check on us or bus our table. A manager interrupted an order I was trying to place at shift change and made me wait more than 5 minutes and never acknowledged me or said they were sorry. They were entirely internally focused! It was crazy. My husband rarely notices these things but was mad. We did play golf and the service improved some. However, the food is mediocre and overpriced. We won't be going back. read more

I had the opportunity to return on 1/2/24, exactly one week from my previous experience. This experience was completely different than the last. Since having a reservation this time around, the technology worked perfectly and I was given a bay at my quoted time. During our visit, the service was amazing from our bay host Chelsea, and the food we had was great (Mac & Cheese Balls and Nachos)! Additionally, the drinks were great too! Sadly, they were out of the ingredients to make a Spiked Strawberry Lemonade when we tried to order; however, our hosts recommendation to try the Strawberry Mule as a substitute did not disappoint! So it's just a big monthly subscription grab scheme, not an actual family activity facility. Too bad that's not explained before dragging 3 kids across town and waiting hours. Finally got to try Topgolf and it was awesome! Went with a group of friends and reserved a bay in the center of the 3rd floor with couch seating. Highly recommend getting a bay as close to the middle and high up as possible for better view and game experience. Not sure how to know when booking online if you're getting a high top table or couch, but definitely recommend trying to get a couch as well - way more comfortable. The price is by bay and not determined by number of people, so the more the better/cheaper per person (max of 6). Service was decent - wasn't hard to get drinks, but it did take a long time to get our food. Once we did receive our food, it was basically inedible. Tater tots were basically all tot, no tater - just a big crunchy mess. One of us ordered wings and they didn't come until we had 5 minutes left in our reservation. Went on Saturday night with no reservation, and figured for a wait. Upon arrival we were quoted a 4hr wait time. The desk advised us to come back tomorrow around opening and the wait should be much less. Fast forward, Sunday morning 21 July 2024 we arrive around 10:40 am ish (TG opens at 10 am in Louisville, KY). When we got to the front desk were quoted a 3 hr wait time (a whole one hour less of a wait time than was quoted on Saturday night around 6pm), citing a staff shortage etc. so.... we left. As I am walking out of the TG building on the left hand side I see 4-5 top golf staff on the side of the building sitting down with their faces stuffed in their phones.... all of this is verifiable by security camera footage I'm sure. Topgolf is always a fun time and I'm so glad they finally opened the new one in Louisville! Service was wonderful the two times I've been so far. My only complaint is that I wish they had more celiac safe gluten free food. When I asked my waiters, they were pretty much oblivious to what gluten free meant and it would be nice to partake in appetizers while I am there. I went here for the first time recently and it was a super cool place! The inside was very modern and you could tell how new it was. The staff was incredibly kind for the most part, other than a few people being very push for us to leave after our two hour mark despite us thinking we were allowed to relax after. Nonetheless, it wasn't a big deal and that was just one person and she did not ruin the whole experience for us! Our actual server was very kind and attentive. The drinks were good but if you were thinking of getting a pitcher to save money, don't. It won't save you much at all, considering the pitcher is maybe half the size of a pitcher. The food was okay, I think they could step up their menu options to make it even better, but everything was cooked nicely. We ordered some drinks after and the bartender downstairs was amazing. He let us know if we wanted to order any food that it was a longer wait time, which we appreciate knowing beforehand. Overall, it was a fun experience, just be careful what you order! Definitely recommend for a day or night out. A good time with friends and/or family. The food is very average. Does not come out hot or fresh. My husband and I have been here at least twice a month since they opened. We've come for dates and with friends and family. We typically make reservations but have also walked in a time or two. Our bay has always been ready promptly upon arrival and we've had a great experience with the game itself. The one time our game glitched, our gameplay fee was comped by management and they fixed the issue quickly. The food has always been great and I think the menu is fairly priced. My only complaint has been the service from the bay attendants and the time it takes to receive food and drinks. I highly recommend ordering when they first come to your bay because it takes a while to get your order and they may not be back for a while. I highly recommend using the TopGolf app for the best experience. You can reserve a bay up to a week in advance, see the wait times, and get on the wait list. It also shows your game history if you play frequently and care to track your stats. It also shows the food and drink menus, and you can change the TV channel in your bay. I do notice a difference in our experience when we book ahead of time vs walk in. read more

Let's be honest the honest the reason to go to TopGolf is for some fun. The drinks are yummy and consistent but as expected more on the expensive side. The food is decent but took forever to come out. We reserved our bay for 2 hours. With an hour and a half left we ordered food. It took about 45 minutes to get it and then an extra 10-15 minutes to get an order of carrots. And the hot food was barely warm. We went ahead and ate since we didn't want to wait another hour for food. When I brought it to the server and managers attention they just brushed me aside. The server said " well most people don't get there food until they're done playing and we're not a restaurant." The manager just said "ok. I'll let the kitchen know." I opened one of the locations in California and know for a fact that getting food after playing and this type of treatment to its customers is not okay. I had guest from Germany. When we got there they told us the wait was 20 minutes waited 30 minutes. When I went back to the Check in center, they said we had to wait another hour. So we went to mall came back 45 minutes later and was told wait another 30 minutes and I ask could that change and they said yes. There was a lot of bays open on the 2 nd floor and none of the bays on the 1st and 3 floor look like the not even open. After wait all that we went home and being told we could get in 20 to 30 minutes and not know for sure I had a set time. I will not be back.
