Went to the 3rd floor bar with my girlfriend this afternoon wanted to order just two glasses of wine. There were two bartenders either which could've cared less that I was one of the only people at the bar trying to order a drink. They were too worried about taking care of other things not necessarily bar related. When I finally did get waited on, I ordered an appetizer eight boneless chicken wings.... 30 minutes later no wings. I go back to the bar ask them what happened to the wings at which point the gentleman behind the bar said he would check on it the bartender who ignored me earlier and then told me that there was a 45 minute wait on food! This was not communicated to me when I made my initial order so now I'm stuck waiting on wings to take almost an hour to make!!! the bartender was very rude towards me and it which point I fired back at her. It would've been nice if you tell the customer had a timer to 45 minute wait so they have the option whether to order or not rather than not be trapped, waiting on an order that may come, or may not come in the next hour! Thanks for the gentleman behind the bar who showed up and looked in after the order and got the wings right away Otherwise, I would not recommend coming here with service this awful! There was no apologies no nothing just a very rude snap from the bartender towards me letting me know that there was a 45 minute wait and I know I'm proud in a very non-crowded situation where I was the only individual at the bar !!! this is inexcusable, and makes this place look a bit worse than Buffalo wild wings!!! read more

Topgolf Louisville is still having trouble managing the demand. Went there months ago for a corporate party of two bays and the pre-ordered food and beverages did not come out into well into the second hour of a 2-hour golf package. It's still the same nearly four month later. Same issues with service, reservations, and a wait list that is closed well before the venue even opens. They need at least a year to work out all of their issues. It will be a great place to go once they figure it out. read more

So disappointing. First time here and while the activity was fun, the service was terrible. For the price we paid, expected much better ($400+ spent in under an hour for a party of ten at two bays.) No one assisted with set up or how to play. Server "closed us out" 40 minutes into our reservation because she was leaving and we never saw another server. Asked for a manager and got nothing but a "that's unusual" response. Lost revenue and lost referral based on the service. Facility itself was really nice. Don't make a reservation for 430. We did and it was shift change so it took us a full hour before we got any food. Also, their reservation system is weird. I've been to one Top Golf in my life and that was in Nashville which was a great experience in itself so I was incredibly excited when one opened right down the street for me. We tried going last week on a Friday as a walk in and that a mistake as we were told it will be a 5 hour wait which I'm not surprised since it just opened. So this weekend we got on the wait list and had no issue getting our bay. The place is truly state of the art. From the outside architecture to inside it is truly breath taking and you should expect walking into a place like this you're about to spend some money. We got a text on our phone saying our bay was ready on the second floor and then proceeded to our Bay Area. Our bay had a L shaped couch with a table in the middle. There was 6 of us so it was hard switching in and out every time someone was up to swing. It was a little cramped but next time we go I would prefer the high top 6 person tables for sure. The worst part was the heat. You're probably asking yourself, "Kyle it's the middle of winter and you're hot at Top Golf?". Yes, it was below freezing outside and I was sweating in our bay. Each bay is heated and cooled which is sweet but my goodness the heat must have been on high because I felt like a fried chicken leg sitting underneath a hot lamp at a gas station the whole time. The Worst part was is that we had to put our buckets of beer underneath the table because they would get too hot and melt the ice ! Our Waiter even suggested that because it's been a ongoing problem! Regardless of that let's dive into the service itself. I will give the staff a little bit of a break. It's the second week of it being opened and it was not the best. We sat down at our in our bay and it took about 20 mins to get our waiter to come by us as well as another 20 mins to just get our buckets of beer. There were multiple bays in our area that were open so I was shocked to how slow the service was and hope it gets better over time. Before you go to your bay get your buckets before you sit down so you're not wasting time waiting for drinks. Also there's nothing on tap on the second floor which I found incredible bizarre. The actual golf itself, as you can imagine, was such a good time. Truly incredible technology they use to track each swing of the ball as well as a large variety of different games to play. They have mens and woman's clubs and I would suggest not worrying about brining any of your own clubs. Setting up and signing in was a breeze as well as extending your time if you wanted to stay longer. I would advise going with a group of 6 because it comes out to being around $10 an hour which is pretty well priced in my opinion. If you plan on taking your partner here as a date just plan on spending a lot of cash just an fyi. Also having to pay a $5 new player fee was a little annoying but whatever. Overall, I thought the experience was a little underwhelming. The golf experience will always be top class at any Top Golf you go to but that's not what makes up the full experience. From being cooked alive underneath the hot lamp, cramped bay, and sub par waiting service, you would expect a little more out of your experience. Granted our waitress was super nice and sweet the proper service just was not there. I would give this place more of a 3.5 stars for my first experience but I will be back and expect it to be much better next time. So thankful we finally have a top golf in Louisville. I highly recommend going during the week before prime time pricing when you can swing it for the best value. Our game was accurately scored. Our server was on top of the game and prompt with check in, service, touching base, and check out. Our checks were accurate. We did have a good order get mixed up but it was corrected quickly. Highly recommend top golf for friend dates, date nights, and family hang outs. Play the angry bird games if you have newbies in the group so everyone can be included and have fun! read more

Quoted hour & half wait. Went to the bar to get some beers, service is an absolute joke, Almost laughable. Downstairs had 1 bartender mopping floors with people waiting for drinks. Had to ask twice to get bar wiped off where someone had just ate. Let's try the 2nd floor we said.l, bad idea! 2nd level bar had TWO bartenders & ignored everyone at bar to tend to service bar. Then she immediately got her phone. Buddy waited 8 & half minutes for ONE beer (timed him for fun) didn't even try 3rd floor bar. Got our bay 15 min after quoted time. Asked for clubs, was brought women's clubs by host who has obviously never touched a golf club in their life. Meanwhile our game play timer is running. Have been to TG in 5 different cities & have never seen ineptness like this. Hopefully they get it worked out. read more

Came here to watch Georgia football game. Sat at first floor bar - 7 to 8 top golf employees, 3 behind bar. No service. Decided to go to bar - completely ignored by three bar staff. Seriously, the two were so close, right in front of me with their backs to me. Finally, female sensed I was pissed and started to give me attention. Not a great first impression. Ordered food, seriously one of the employees who ignored me got HIS food and we continued to wait, and wait. There are no managers anywhere making these employees do their job. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Took our IDs and said they were fake... they were not. Took my credit card and said they were opening a tab but never returned it. Be ready to wave down your server if you want anything because once they take your card they will never come back. read more

I would have gave a 4+ had this location had couches in the bays like the Cincy & Nashville locations. For people on the shorter side the tables are ridiculously hard to sit at comfortably while getting up/down to hit golf balls. While signing in, were told we had to wait until our reservation time, 40 minutes away. They had bays available for walk-ins though. What?!?!?! Okay, so if bays are available, why would you make the reservations wait?! We did what was suggested and got reservations because we are coming from Indiana. Good experience. Pros: heaters to keep you warm when it's winter, good selection of drinks & food. The game was very user friendly even for beginners. Cons: Appeared to be short staffed behind the bar. Once our bay was ready, we were going to pay for our drinks after having one at the bar while waiting on our bay. It took quite some time to get our bill paid. We had to get a bartenders attention. 15 minutes later, we make it to our bay and the time already started. This didn't seem fair as they didn't tell us it would start right away, instead we assumed it wouldn't start until we got to the bay. When you receive a text your bay is ready, RUN! Server name was karoline I believe, worst service I've ever had from a waitress. Would come to check on us and then not bring anything we ordered. Had to get her attention when we could because she would disappear for over 20 minutes at a time from the area. When it was time to pay she completely disappeared and we had to bother multiple other servers and bartenders just to check out. The food she brought out to us was cold as if it had been sitting there. Some other food items brought out by another staff member were hot and fresh. Managers were professional and respectful about the situation. We waited for over 4 hours and didn't even get to play golf because of the situation of having to check out she lost our debit cards and had to wait another hour and by that time we were ready to leave. Too damn Cold in here. Everyone in here has on coats and we are freezing, help!!! I can't enjoy my drink or food for the cold temperature.

Food is bad. Service was average. Environment is fun. Bill was high. Went for my birthday... wouldn't spend my own money again.

I asked the previous night how long about the wait time would be for a walk in, they said 15 minutes. Fair Enough. Come in the next day walk in and the actual wait time is 3-4 hours, sucks but can't predict the future. So we wait 3-4 hours, get a message saying our bay is ready and head to the front desk. The lady upfront tells us it will be another 30 minutes because 'platinum' members took our spots. That's annoying, but I can wait 30 minutes. Wait 40 minutes with no text, and ask again. Another 30 minutes. Wait the next 30 minutes, with no texts. Head back to the front desk and they say the wait is now an hour. Bruh. We left after having wasted 6 hours of our time on a weekday. I then call back after we leave just to see if I would have reserved the bay online if it would've made a difference. The woman on the phone says, "No, platinum members still get top priority even if you have a online reservation". Bruh. IMO its better to just go to the range with some friends than wait an indefinite amount of time for the novelty + price. No Fault of the employees just a terrible way to operate. read more

My company decided to use Top Golf Louisville as part of our yearly service meeting for a chance for all of our employees to unwind and relax. While the night began good it quickly spiraled into a horrible evening. With almost 50 people in attendance we expected to have several servers to help with our party. One server in particular kept telling all the others to not get her drinks, we suspect she was trying to collect all the tip money and not split it at the end of the night, which lead to really long wait times for drinks. We pre paid for the entire evening including our drinks, we were issued several tickets that we could use to redeem drinks for the evening. With all of the delays we didn't get to use but maybe half of them. As we have used Top Golf before we assumed, like before, we could finish our 2 hour round of golf and then spend the rest of the evening on the terrace to have more drinks and order more food. That was not the case, about 40 minutes before our time was up we were informed once our 2 hour limit was up our drink vouchers that we already paid for expired we would not receive a refund. All of a sudden new rules starting coming out like only ordering one drink at a time and our food just suddenly was taken out and not replenished, mind you, we already paid for it. The servers also all disappeared as our time got closer for us to leave hindering our ability to order. After long discussions with the management team they very rudely started pushing us towards the exits leaving tons of full drinks on our tables. Now, most of my party was drinking but they all stayed very composed (I didn't drink at all that night as I was driving) and stayed non confrontational. Once we left the table security showed up and stood next to our party till every person left the building. No one was being belligerent or disagreeable they were simply trying to finish the drinks we all had to order last second to avoid loosing any money. Top Golf over served several of my friends and co workers, the food was almost inedible and cold, and the staff were incredible impersonal and short. Maybe going by yourself this could be a good time but going as a group is a quick way to loose money. If you choose to do a group I would get everything in writing and have a few people not drinking alcohol so they can have a clear and relevant conversation. The staff only wanted to talk to people drinking alcohol, they will dodge the sober people as it's easier to confuse someone that has been drinking and rip them off. While this may be a new establishment, Top Golf itself isn't and is a very efficient and well organized company so to say "that's our policy" or "we're new and didn't know" are not legible excuses. We spent in the upwards of $10,000 and we're treated miserably. We did use Top Golf for this yearly event in every city we went to but after the way management spoke to my Senior Director last night, it's pretty safe to say we will not use Top Golf again. read more

Ok so top golf was fun but we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for the food the food was also kinda cold and the food wasn't spectacular it was kinda basic to my cousin even said that she could cook better than that. I had the boneless bbq chicken and it literally tasted like something that you would get from quoger and go home to put the chicken in the air fryer that's literally what the chicken tasted like. I also got taco's The tocos was ok but they were Luke warm and they didn't really taste that good but I put this sauce on it and it tasted better. I went here with my family, and I got the buffalo wings as food and they were very salty. After two wings, I couldnt eat anymore. My lip started to swell up and it messed up my stomach. I had diarrhea. I think they may have messed up my batch because I had one of my families before I ordered my own and they were not that salty and all I would not order the wings unless you want your stomach messed up for days. Was told it would be 30 minutes, waited an hour. Food came out cold. My mother-in-law couldn't even eat her chicken strips. Anyways it came time for when they texted me we would have a bay and they told me no it was going to be another hour and a half and when I showed them what my phone said he said I don't know what to tell you and proceeded to laugh at me when I walked away.
