Lastly, my only comment about the one time $5 lifetime membership fee: Perhaps this business could consider waiving the fee for out of town guests that live nowhere close to a Top Golf. Seems like if the locals have memberships and they bring family from out of town ... They should wave the $5. This review is for people who aren't golfers. Having no interest in golf, I have to say this was a ton of fun. The game is easy to pick up. Obviously an experienced golfer has an advantage, but with a combination of luck and combos, a casual player stands a chance! There's also great opportunity here for an experienced player to help a casual player. The social experience is similar to bowling in that it's a casual group activity where you are in close proximity to other groups. But unlike bowling it is outdoor so it feels much less claustrophobic. Also, the combination of not having to wear someone else's dirty shoes and all the Top Golf equipment feeling clean and modern makes the whole experience feel a bit classier than the average bowling alley, while still serving as a casual sport-based activity. The drinks seem relatively strong, which is a good thing value-wise. This seemed to be consistent with multiple bartenders, but I wouldn't take it as gospel. I only had appetizers, so can't comment on the food, but what I had was good. The only real downside is that it can get pricey. If you are in a group, it's not as much of an issue but the hourly cost, plus food and drinks can easily add up. My friend wasn't restraining himself and he spent $120 in one night. But if you eat ahead of time and split the hourly cost with a group of friends, it can easily be a cost-effective activity, perfect for group dates, after-work outings, or miscellaneous events. read more

I thought if I wasn't decked out in a polo and khakis, I probably couldn't have fun in this place. Boy. Was. I. Wrong. This place LOOKS and feels totally cool. The staff is very friendly, and they're not expecting you to be Tiger Woods (even though I think he'd have fun at this place too.) There's enough space for large groups, they serve you delicious food AND drinks. However ladies, if you're with all your dudes and pretending to be "lady-like" so you order a salad, get the dressing *on the side* because they're gonna make it rain on that lettuce. I'm not much of a golf person. Heck, I'm not much of a sports person. I'm sure watching me have a sports related conversation is either hilarious or frustrating (depending on the type of person you are). That being said, I get why so many people like Topgolf. For someone that has never golfed in his life before, I had a pretty good time. The first few times I swung at the ball was way off, but after a few practice swings I started to get the hang of it. It's so satisfying to hear that 'pinck' sound when you hit the ball perfectly. I can see why our president plays so often now! Topgolf is a good place for just about anyone. Serious golfers can practice their drive and aim while simpletons, like me, can get excited about actually hitting the ball. The staff was great too. Everyone was kind and responded nicely to everything we needed. We didn't order any food, but they still made sure that we weren't confused and helped us with any questions. What I don't like is how payment is set up. There were six of us at a bay and we were wanting to play for an hour. Using a bay for an hour in the evening costs $45. We chose to do an even split, so it would cost $7.50 per person. The smallest amount of money that you're allowed to put on your card is $12.50. I don't want to spend $12.50 since I know that I don't need $12.50. Now I have $5 on my Topgolf card that will probably go unused. That also means that everyone that has a Topgolf membership has, at one point, had money on their card that went unused. I don't like that. It's dumb and it's stupid, and it's stupid... and it's dumb. Stop doing preset amounts and let me pick how much I want to pay! I don't know when I'll wind up at Topgolf again. I had a great time, but it's something that I don't see myself doing often. Regardless, having a good time with friends is Topgolf's bread and putter. Just make sure you don't go with overly competitive people. Golf should never drive a wedge between friends. Also, make sure you go be-fore all the early birdies show up. Had a great time today during brunch. I tried the health start sandwich and my husband had the burrito. I loved the sandwich! Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've had in years. My husband wasn't a fan of the bacon in the burrito. The service was great and the heaters were thankfully on full. It was very enjoyable temperature in the bay even though it was freezing outside. My non-golfing friends had a wonderful time and asked when we would be returning. As with any super busy establishment, make a reservation well in advance for weekends. You could be waiting several hours for a bay to open. However, they will text you when they are ready, so you don't have to camp there. Great concept. Be ready to stand in line the first time you go. Once you have your player's card, you're all set. There are two pretty decent sets of clubs at each bay. One men's set and one women's set. Your available clubs are 1W, 3W, 3I hybrid, and your irons are 4, 6, 8, 9, PW. The food is decent enough. I had the turkey and avo wrap, which was pretty tasty. The sweet potato fries were good, as well. Service was average but acceptable, as the place is brand new, and I could tell our server was new to waitressing. We were not presented with the full list of beer, which does include local craft brews (thanks to Top Golf for clarifying.) On the other hand, the attraction is the golf, not the food or service. It's a bit expensive at $40/hr during peak hours, and there will almost definitely be a long wait. This place is popular and will remain populate for a long time. I love coming here!!! I can seriously say that I'm addicted to Top Golf. I truly wish I could split my review for my experiences between my experience with the wait staff when I'm playing vs. the wait staff within the restaurant. The wait staff outside is phenomenal!! I've yet to have a terrible experience. They are like the staff on a cruise ship. Always at the ready to take care of you. The wait staff within the restaurant downstairs, on the other hand, has been pretty sub par. Both times I've sat in the restaurant to eat, and wait on a lane to open up, I've had to go up to a staff member and asked to be waited on. And this is usually after waiting 10 mins for someone to walk up to us. The staff outside receives 5 The staff inside receives 2 So I'll have to rate Top Golf overall with a 3 rating. read more

Fun place to visit and hit golf balls as hard as you can. I've never really played golf so I was excited when I heard that Top Golf finally came to OKC. This is definitely the best way to get the golf experience if you're probably never going to actually play a real game. Mini golf is fun and there are some good spots to check out, but you don't get the satisfaction of the big open area to drive your ball way down range like you do here. I used to come somewhere regularly with my cousin once or twice a week before he started working full time. For a morning price of $20, it was a pretty good deal considering there was only 2 of us. I was a bit surprised to hear that they raised the price to $25 before 12pm, $35 before 6pm, and $45 after 6pm. I think that's right but I know the 12pm and 6pm are correct. It's still a fair price I guess, but they're slowly inching towards the, "Wow, that wasn't worth it" category. The food is quite gross and expensive. It has been a few months since I've ordered from their menu but everything I had tasted microwaved and low quality, while charging $8-12 for most everything. Not a huge complaint since you're coming for the golf and not the food, but just something to keep in mind. I'd also recommend bringing a glove for your hand too. Maybe my form is incorrect, or maybe the clubs they provide aren't great quality, but I always leave with painful callouses on my non-dominant hand. I actually broke skin on this most recent visit so I may start doing that. I think a hat is extremely necessary as well because on these hot summer days, you're pounded by the burning rays of the sun and there's little to no protection given by the awning, covering things during certain times of the day. I would definitely recommend checking this place out or bring a friend if they haven't been before. First time doing Topgolf we had a large group with us (20+ People). We came on a Saturday night so it was packed, we had to wait a hour to get two zones. We didn't mind because they have a bar with televisions. The prices for the drinks are reasonable. Golf: Very fun to play, they have every type of club available. An employee helps you get all set up before you start and answers any questions you may have. Another employee takes your drink or food orders throughout your time playing. I played like an older Tiger Woods, meaning I was terrible. We played in teams and battled each other. The score zones are neat. It was just a fun atmosphere. My only complaint would be that our waitress was very rude, and you could tell she was overwhelmed. Overall if I ever visit OKC again I definitely will want to come back. read more

We arrived early afternoon on New Year's Eve. Apparently this is one of the busiest days of the year- make sure you have a reservation! We didn't, so we were put on a wait list with an expected wait time of 1:45. So we went to the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. Received an auto notification asking if we were ready. I texted back No. A minute or so later, it auto texted asking how long we would need - 15, 30, or 60 minutes. I replied 60. A minute or so later, it said they would text when the next available bay was open. We arrived back at TopGolf a few minutes before our 60 minutes were up. We shouldn't have rushed, but we didn't know what to expect. We waited about 12-15 minutes before we receiver our next notification asking if we were ready. I replied Yes. 6 minutes later, it auto texted Great - we will send you your bay assignment shortly... about 15 minutes later, we were assigned 321. Then we were sent a duplicate text that said we were assigned bay 221. So we went to 321 because we had not golfed from the 3rd floor before. The attendant was cleaning up from the previous clients. He checked and said it was a mistake... that we were assigned 221, so we headed downstairs. Our booth wasn't very clean - the seats had crumbs everywhere and there were food bits on the floor. We didn't complain. An attendant came a few minutes later to make sure we were checked in. We were. Booked 90 minutes After a while, a server came to take our order. Water, club soda, and an Angry Orchard. We ordered food at the same time - Chili, Backyard BBQ wings, and a Smokehouse Burger w/o BBQ sauce, the rest of the toppings on the side - with a side salad. About 30 minutes into golfing, our food arrived. There were several problems. No spoon for the chili, no fork for the salad, and it was a plain burger (no bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion). We requested a spoon, a fork, and explained that the burger was wrong. About 5 minutes later, someone from the kitchen came out to explore the issue, said to keep this burger, and that they would fire a new one. Before this burger came out, we ordered Injectable donut holes - because we were starting to feel the time crunch. After about 8 minutes, we finally received silverware, but it was a knife and fork wrapped in a napkin. When we realized this, we requested a spoon again, but the server was busy (guessing she was new). About 10 more minutes later - AFTER the second burger had arrived, she showed up with a spoon. It was too late. The chili had been eaten with a fork. Donut holes were ordered with 40+ minutes remaining, arrived after second burger was almost entirely consumed, and went home in a box. Golfing was fine. All issues are with the server/attendants. Either they had too many customers for the available staff, or she was too inexperienced for such a busy day (she appeared to repeatedly have issues that she needed to call a second person over to help her at the touch screen register). We didn't mind the extensive wait - we crossed another scheduled activity off of our list, but poor - and slow service - is not acceptable. Next time we will eat elsewhere and alleviate that issue from future visits. By the way, the Backyard BBQ wings were EXCELLENT! I heard no complaints about the chili - except having no spoon - and both burgers were consumed by an ever growing tween who was pleased with the mix up when his proper burger finally arrived. So - yummy food, good golf... but staff have a huge impact on the overall experience. read more

Finally made it to Top Golf. I would have to rate this experience as being pretty good. Called in early to find out if there was a wait list, if there is a wait you can drive up and place your name on the waiting list and they will call you and you have a 15 minute window to check in. This is great if you find yourself wanting to go across the street to get something to eat or kill time. Perfect for date nights, spending time with friends or family nights. The drink selection is fairly decent and I would rate the food is being pretty good too. You will want to check your bill when it comes as some of the prices do not reflect what is shown on the menu. Kids clubs are available at the front desk if needed. If you've never been to Top Golf before, make sure you get your players card ahead of time at the front desk. With all of the health concerns currently the staff at this facility was very on the ball with their cleaning. When they weren't serving us, they were wiping down tables and chairs and menus. Top golf seems like it's going down hill. Recently over run with advertising on the screens and cruddy wait staff. We couldn't get through an hour of gaming comfortably due to the overwhelming amount of Braun Shaving ads we were receiving while just trying to play. For example, some one asks for the score, we look at the screen, have to wait 30 seconds or more for the ad to go away to show the score. It's ridiculous. We pay to play, not pay to deal with ads. There were almost too many staff members when we first arrived that it was overwhelming and they were actually quite rude about our guests age (they're 55 and 60-- a joke was made that the hostess was a millennial and she illuded that our guests were old). We got ourselves all set up (good thing we knew what we we're doing as no one was around to help) and started golfing. The games are always fun. Our drinks and food took forever to get to us and while our server was friendly when he was around, he was MIA most of the time. Our snacks and drinks were good (we just had chips and queso). This place is seriously the best place to have some fun when you're not sure what to do. It's great for every type of event. You can have an adult night out with your friends, family night with your kids, or a corp. event. The time passes quickly while you wait for you bay because there is so much to do. Saturday's are always busy, but they have a bar/restaurant on the second floor and a game room first floor. You can also order drinks and food while you golf. I would have liked to give it a higher rating, but the wait was so ridiculous that I had to dock stars. The staff? Wonderful, warm and welcoming. Very friendly! The golfing experience was pretty fun, though if they want to keep people warm, they will need a better heating set up for the winter months. While I dressed warmly, it wasn't quite enough to keep out the chill. The cost isn't too crazy when done in a group, but most of the groups around us seemed to have been there for a very long time. Maybe have some sort of limit on weekends to the number of hours you can stay, as it just meant a much longer wait time. So this place is crazy popular... for a reason. After two visits where they told us it was a three hour wait, I finally got smart and arrived at 9 am. My family loves a good Bloody Mary like any good Mexican-American, so they are totally fine with an early morning session. You really do have to come at off-peak hours to have a fighting chance.
