Service was awful. Our waitress acted like she didn't want to be at work. Food was hard and cold.

Stay at the bay! Bar is full of unnecessary gatherings (they posted like the block), service inside is trash. One thing about it, I'm going to support mine but the lack of professionalism, the filth in attire, throwing food or remnants of food over the bar to wherever it lands!? Whoever owns this place will lose in the grand scheme. When you hire trash, you accumulate trash, and it will stink in the future. I won't drop names, but maybe a uniform with a belt would eliminate some of the clowns. read more

Worst Top Golf we've ever been to. Arrived at 5:30 for a 6:30 reservation hoping we could get in earlier. The bay wasn't ready, no big deal, so we sat in the dining area to get appetizers and drinks. Our drink order and appetizer order were taken pretty quick. However, 15 minutes later the sweet tea arrived and about another 20 minutes after that our drinks from the bar arrived. The waiter was apologetic and was working a lot of tables (manager had already asked us to be patient when we were first sat). It's now 6:15 and our appetizers show up. I received a text at 6:22 that our bay would be ready in 15 minutes. At 7:00 we finally get to the bay. Every top golf I've been to usually has someone in the bay to greet you to make sure you know what to do. No one came by (to include our waitress) for 15 minutes. I flagged down a manger to help with a membership issue and a fe minutes later our waitress finally showed up. She took our drink order and we told her that we would be eating. When ordering our drinks,l the waitress didn't know the drink that was in their menu (I had to scan the menu and show her) and had no clue what the beer was I was ordering. She never came back to bring the drinks..a couple of other random people did. A couple of the drinks were wrong and they brought a pitcher of beer with no glasses. I had to walk to the bar to ask for some since the waitress was MIA. She never came back to take our food order, or to even check on us, until we had about 15 minutes left to play. When she asked we stated that we did want food but we were almost out of time and her answer was, "yea it'll probably take 30 minutes for food". Never mind the fact that we already extended. We never ate...we elected to eat somewhere else after our time was up. At one point I asked where the closest restroom was and one of the employees (who I think was a manager) told me it was by wall fountain. The wall fountain wasn't working, the bathrooms were a mess and the place was generally dirty. We've been to 4 other Top Golf's in different states and we've always had a great experience. Could not get anyone to serve us in the restaurant this evening. The restaurant was not busy and a lot of the wait staff appeared to be socializing with each other or friends. Asked one of the bartenders if we should order our food at the bar. We were told that someone would help us at our table. Didn't happen so we left. There was no sign of anyone managing anything. While walking to our car tried to use the ADA ramp but found it was blocked off at the bottom. One the employees told us we had to walk back up and take the stairs down. Wow. read more

the food is really good. however when i go out to a restaurant i expect the service and food to be excellent. i ordered a red bull with my meal only for it to come out after i had already finished my food cause it took forever, and yes i told our waitress i was missing it when the food came out. on top of it i ordered it with an extra flavor, which she didn't tell me was extra, i figured it out when the bill came out. however i told her once i finished my red bull because of her absence that took too long. and ended up giving me the extra flavor on the side and expect me to drink it with no more red bull. bill came out and the extra flavoring was on it. end of the day not a big deal, but i saw people running back and fourth not knowing where the food is going. read more

Last night at this location was the worst. I don't usually get out of character but when time allowed I did so, the security not PG police officer was very rude and combative, once I was able to get into the facility they do not explain anything when you're sitting in the waiting/bar area. Some of the waiters are rude upon service, the manager(s) we encountered last night were very inappropriate regarding our concerns and the male manager just blew us off by waving his hand erratically and pretty much dismissed us by walking away. It was shameful that your bartender had to console us and apologize for the behavior of the manager. I did say that I would never visit this place again but the golfing is extremely fun and it's close in vicinity. I hope my next visit will be a pleasant endeavor. read more

I spent a lot of money here and left underwhelmed! The golf was fun, but the service ruined the party. I did a 2 bay event here.... For all the rules when you sign the contract and pay the deposit you'd expect everything to go off without a hitch! We got 2 rounds of drinks mostly pitchers of beer and it took almost an hour to get each round. The server was nice but seemed setup to fail as you could tell he was in the weeds all night. Host getting into the floor level bar was rude! I was not impressed! Seems like it's all about money! Overpriced! read more

Amazing time been here twice the service is slow however as long as you're having a good time at the bar on the dance floor and in great compost not as noticeable unless you're seriously hungry or flat out a jerk. Friday nights are packed you will have to wait for a bay unless you've booked one 7 days in advance which is crazy but true. Food is good better than expected. The birthday party we went to was ok I wouldn't do it as a package but to each it's own. Parking is a hit or miss for a close spot. However they have a van that will pick you up and take you to the steps of the place that's a plus. Prices are reasonable and surprisingly not bad at all. I will definitely be making this a must go to in my book. read more

This a gorgeous location! I recently visited with a group of friends and had a great time. I had the Bulliet Old Fashioned and Asian wings which were yummy. The heat lamp was an added touch, until it got too hot, then our server turned it off for our comfort. Great place to chill and have a good time. We have been here three times now and each time the staff is super friendly, attentive and the food/drinks are on point! Our three kids from the elementary aged to the high schooler love coming here. Came to Topgolf with the AD conference and the service was awful. Drinks came out incorrect several times and the food came out before we even had water. Not to mention how many times other services came with incorrect drinks. Management didn't take any responsibility and tried to justify incorrect drinks and poor service. Don't go here. Terrible service, terrible communication. Literally drive the extra hour or whatever you need to just avoid going here. We were told wait time was 30/40 minutes which is great. One hour goes by and we were still waiting. We checked to see what the status was, the girl working the front told us we were next. We waited another hour after that. We finally go inside to check again and she says it will be another 30 minutes without any sort of apology/understanding. She finally sends us to a bay but when we get there we see a family is already there. At this point we are at our wits end and the only thing that kept me from leaving was the fact that we had now spent 2.5 hours of our day waiting for this event. Go. Anywhere. Else. Also should note our waiter was the least attentive and took 40 minutes to bring us water after I asked him 2 times. WORST LOCATION. We had to go find a server to take our order, first. took 10+ minutes to bring our guacamole and chips out (after everything else was already served), we had to yet again track down another waiter to get our food. Buffalo chicken dip was God awful, it wasn't even spicy. Guacamole had zero salt and was BEYOND BLAND. The nachos came in the smallest portion EVER. Third, we had to track down ANOTHER waiter to close out our food tab. Once we were finally done with our food we proceeded to go golf. We were seated at our bay and the table still had dirty dishes on the table and hadn't been wiped down. Lastly to top it all off I ordered a drink while at the bay, the waiter told me I needed a credit card on file, so I gave her one. 5 minutes go by, I already had my drink and no credit card. I asked the waiter if I could have my card back, no reason she should have had it that long. She was gone for another 5+ minutes, she came back to me and asked was I sure that she hadn't given me my card back. I proceeded to check, I emptied my wallet and to no avail my credit card wasn't in there. The waiter LOST MY credit card. Luckily a good samaritan had turned it in. But the fact of the matter is we couldn't find any waiters when we needed them, the food was God awful and my credit card was lost. They gave us zero compensation and we spent over 200$ tonight. I've been here twice now. The facility is very nice. Clubs and the bays were in good condition. Both times I've been it's taken 1.5 hours to get our food. We paid $100 to reserve two spots. Turns out that we had to wait an extra hour, and the reservation did not cover any cost of the golf. We had to pay regular prices on top of that. I was recently at a conference at the MGM and me and my group decided to try out the new topgolf around the corner. Not only was it super close to our hotel, but it was the perfect activity for our group. We made a reservation online and we did have to wait a bit, but we were warned that a reservation was more of a priority pass than a guaranteed time to get our spots. Once we were seated at the bays, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. The staff was kind and professional, the food and drinks were awesome (the wings are a MUST - so good!) and the whole event was just exactly what we needed- super fun. Great job topgolf! read more

Put my name on the waiting list. Was texted 2 hours later my bay was ready. Texted 15 to let them know I needed time to go back. They texted back I was taken off the wait list 5 minutes later. Called them and the person could not have been more rude. Worst customer service call experience of my life! This was my first time at Top Golf and I have to say it was great the woman who greeted us at the door was very informative, helpful, and funny. My friend and I then went to the check in counter where we were assigned a bay and the general man that was at the desk was equally as great as the woman who greeted us at the door. Went to our bay on the third floor where we were given rules and instructions. It's good to note if you are new you will need to sign up for a membership which is and additional 5 dollars but is good for all Top Golfs. We paid about 97 dollars before tip for the hour of play , 2 Moscow mules, and one membership card. Over all I would absolutely come back it is a great place for groups and parties. The only Con of the visit was our bay attendant she was average at best and not very friendly. Despite her, I was still able to have a great time and would recommend it to anyone. read more

Top Golf is a great place to hang out. Our bay hostess was really nice. Made sure we had everything we needed. The games were fun. Two things: 1. Just eat before you go. Pizza was terrible. It looked like it would be good, but tasted like something I ate from my high school cafeteria once. I don't believe it came out of a pizza oven. Wings were just ok. We didn't eat them all and there were only 5-6 of them. 2.The computer stopped scoring and paused our game several times during our last 15 minutes. Told the staff. A few people came by and looked at the screen. Really didn't offer much help. It's funny because the game paused but the bay timer never stopped Lol Edited: Top Golf responded to my Yelp Review. They wanted to get additional details on my experience and have gone out of their way to make amends. Corporate reached out and offered another opportunity to try Top Golf with a complimentary hour of game play. I appreciate the immediate response and awesome customer service. Thanks Ms. Hannah! Very rude staff. The heaters don't work in some of the bays. The sensors don't pick up hits half of the time. Someone in our group has a serious food allergy and the incorrect order was brought out and the staff was incredibly disrespectful about it. The facility was nice, but the staff was so rude that it completely ruined the entire experience for me. I will not be returning to this location and do not foresee returning to any other top golf facilities any time soon. If you have a food allergy, I don't recommend going here. If you don't like people rolling their eyes at you and dropping your food in front of you on the table, I don't recommend going here. Too expensive to be treated that poorly. read more

I had fun here... we initially came in on a Saturday night at around 9pm and there was a 3hours wait. So we decided to return back on Sunday. Parking here on Saturday night was a nightmare, we had to do valet, we literally didn't stay up to 3mins, and the valet guys did not want to refund the $15 we paid... but long story short we got our $$$ back. Tip! - check on the waiting time before doing valet. If they had more parking spaces, it would be great... it was a struggle Saturday night. We did have a great experience. When we walked in we went to the VIP section but there was no one there. We waited for about two or three minutes and then turned around and walked over to the other check in desk. The girl there saidYes you will get a text message from your bed is ready. So we walked around and grab a drink and took a seat. Then I saw I believe his name was Charles. He was walking around looking for us and I just happen to overhear him and he said no no you don't wait you come with me youre a VIP I'm here to take care of you. You were super friendly and informative. When we were done he was filling us in about a platinum membership which we are highly considering due to his recommendation. He is great at what he does! I am solely giving 3 stars for the golf experience itself, golfing was great, the food though is not house made, tastes frozen and cheap yet prices are high! Drinks are expensive as well, I ordered a Cobb salad and asked for onions, server told me she could not get me onions but she'd try .... ?..... the boy who dropped our food off was nice, I asked if he could get me onion he said yes and never returned, when the server returned 10 minutes later I asked if she was able to get onions in which she replied "no". I have never heard of anything like that. Very dissatisfied with food and service but golfing was fun. read more

Very fun place to go but you really need to train your staff better. This is the third time I visit this establishment and the waitress/waiters don't seem to know what they are doing. It's very frustrating because they seem like they don't have any customer service training and they don't care either. So this was my first experience at Top Golf. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The concept is fun, especially, for those who are inexperienced in golfing. The server was attentive and the wait was not as long as originally anticipated. In addition, the food was tasty (I had the veggie burger). That said, I am removing 2 stars for the end of the experience. . After speaking with the server, my understanding is once the time is up for the session, a light is displayed, essentially recognizing the table as available. However, given the size of our party (9 patrons) we were still signing the checks while other patrons were waiting on the wall, right next to the tables. I realize the light was displaying "available" however, those coordinating at the front desk should be more cognizant of what is occurring on the floor. This will avoid patrons feeling rushed as other patrons are waiting near the table. Individuals should never feel they are being rushed to sign a receipt, and leave a tip I might add, on a check. Nor should individuals waiting feel awkward. The establishment would not flourish without the patrons and that should always be kept in mind. I'm not sure if this is standard practice or specific to this Top Golf, but nonetheless do better. read more

The technology, design, construction, and gameplay of this facility was top notch. The service was pretty much the complete opposite. If you go into the restaurant area no one will come up to greet you, you will look around at empty tables that haven't been bussed yet waiting for one to be cleaned. Once you sit down you will be completely ignored, you will need to flag down one of the 20 people that stand around and do nothing to ask for service. Once you place an order it will likely take an hour plus to come out and when it finally does, it will be wrong. I'm not sure what top golf corporate was thinking during the hiring process at this location. For outings I would recommend visiting the older location in Alexandria. Not nearly as nice of a facility but at least you get good service. read more

Today I had an unfortunate booking experience with the event staff at Top Golf National Harbor and I would like to bring my concerns to anyone's attention on your staff willing to help. I reached out to Hilary and Adam requesting to rent 3 bays for a team building event, and Hilary insinuated that if I did not book our event with catering to the tune of over 3000 dollars they would purposefully split up our group as a form of retribution. Also, during our conversation I was talked over and given an extremely callus and un-empathetic tone. I am not sure how that equates to good customer service but I was appalled. That said, I am in complete understanding of their inability to ensure all 3 of our bays our team is requesting are side by side. That makes sense given the lack of a reservation. The problem I had was first with Hilary making the insinuation that if we did not book the more expensive reservation package our group would be punished by purposefully splitting us up as retribution. And second when I tried to bring the issue to her boss Adam Froemming's attention he was even more cold and dismissive that she was. Additionally Adam informed me that Top Golf does not have a formal complaint process and I should just send him an email with my concerns, but clearly Top Golf has a contact us feature on the website. I felt that statement was purposefully misleading to prevent me from reporting his team's bad behavior to the corporate office. My hope at this point is to first have someone speak to his team about the way they speak to customers, and second I just want them to try and put us together, if it turns out that they can't that is perfectly acceptable. read more
