I enjoy topgolf. On this occasion my family and family friends arrived around 2pm on a Friday. The facility was wide open with a plethora of bays available for use. Our bay was clean and signs leading to it were easy to follow. Our server was prompt and kind. She was able to assist us with game play and food/drink orders. We ordered pretzels which were really tasty. The adults had alcohol based beverages and the children had various sodas. We enjoyed it all. Family friendly venues that can keep both adults and children entertained can be difficult to find. Topgolf makes it easy. I do wish it was easier to setup reservations or multiple bays without any fees. The fees seem like a money grab and kind of unnecessary. All in all I like TG and will definitely return. read more

First time ever at a Topgolf location! Had a great time with some friends over the weekend. There is plenty of parking in the lot across the street! We made a reservation and checking in was super easy. They do take walk-ins, but the wait could be at least an hour! Our guy, Xzavier, was amazing! He gave us some lessons and was very friendly and personable. We ordered some food and drinks! I had a burger and it was decent. The sangria was ok! I was having a wonderful time at my friends birthday until our part met Warren the manager. He was so extremely rude, unprofessional, and had one of the worst attitudes I have ever seen in customer service. Our party booked using a 25% discount and he would not honor this discount and spoke so arrogantly. He ruined the entire parties mood and honestly ruined my night. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday. The staff was kind and helpful in serving our food and bringing out of drinks such as soda and tea that were included with the event. Party platters were ordered for the event. The platters consisted of chicken fingers, Mexican dip, tortilla chips, salsa, sliders and meatballs. Unfortunately the food was not good. The chicken fingers were over cooked, the Mexican dip was bland and watery. The chips were bland: The meatballs were not good either. The sliders were the best food item that I tasted. The bun was soft and the sliders were served with lettuce and tomatoes. In spite of the food not being good we enjoyed being able to golf indoors with friends and play the various games in our lanes. We were told by our server that 5 chairs were allowed to be in each bag but there were four lanes reserved for 24 people so the math does not add up. Made a 90 min reservation. Arrived early and waited in the lobby, get a text that our bay was ready, right at the start of the reservation. Make our way upstairs to the bay and there is a large group of people still there. Mind you, we passed several empty bays on our way there. Wait for them to leave, have our table cleaned, have someone get the clubs we needed and the clock is ticking this whole time. About 10 min had passed by the time we were actually able to start playing. The service, as many others note, was slow. My margarita was salty and watered down. The apps were OK but took forever. A manager placed a couple orders for us because the server was MIA. It would have been a lot more efficient to let guests place their own orders from a kiosk and just have food/drink runners. Towards the end of our reservation, the server interrupts our game to enter that we are not extending, which I had already done. The game cut off in the middle of my turn with 3-4 min left in our reservation, which did not account for the late start through no fault of our own. They seemed very keen on making sure we were vacating the bay immediately. In all, I'd say we were shorted about 15 min of play. When you're paying over $1 a minute, it's kind of a big deal. My kids have played before but not at this location so I had to pay an extra $6 for each of them. There are much better ways to drop a couple hundred dollars on the family on a Saturday afternoon. My brothers and I booked our visit for 9:45 pm (our plan was last-minute, so we couldn't get a more convenient time). I was a little concerned about being at a driving range in 30-degree weather and freezing, but it felt perfectly fine - the overhead heaters helped a lot, and I was comfortable enough to doff my coat. It's such a fun environment to be with friends and family, whether you're into golf or not. Your party has its own section to itself (set of golf clubs and table with chairs). There's upbeat music playing overhead which certainly pumped me up (I literally wanted to nap just before), and food and drinks are served (added to your tab). Aside from the screens that show each person's turn and points, there are screens overhead that play videos giving tips on your form and swing. Our hot chocolate with Kahlúa was perfect for the weather and not too strong. We also ordered injectable doughnut holes: You basically "inject" the doughnut holes with Bavarian cream or chocolate from syringes. It's a really fun idea, but it turned out to be extremely messy! I think Topgolf should consider having the chocolate and cream as a dip, at least as an option for those ordering. My favorite thing we ordered was the cookie skillet, which was basically this warm chocolate cookie on a hot skillet with caramel drizzled and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This skillet took a long time to come; our server apologized and took it off the tab, which was a nice gesture. There were several other groups of friends playing. Topgolf is definitely a great way to spend weekends or evenings with family and friends, and no need to feel like you've gotta be a pro or even decent at golf - it's a fun time as long as you're with people you can enjoy it with (and laugh at how many swings it takes to hit the golf ball). read more

So....I wanted to spend some time with friends and kinda like the Top Golf concept. I don't play golf, but still have a good time hitting balls. There are a few games you can play (like Angry Birds), but I always keep it simple with Top Golf. I made a reservation within the 7-day window. You wont be able to reserve a bay any earlier than that. A few days before my reservation I received an E-mail asking if I'm still coming (basically). And finally, they day of I received a text asking the same question. I think that's a good strategy to account for no-shows and/or cancellations. As we were walking up I was again sent a text asking if I was there. With a yes I was told my bay would be available shortly and suggested closing out tabs, etc. My friends and I waited at the bar. The bar itself is another story. We sat there about 15 minutes, with nobody else around, the staff looking right at us & past us........ and FINALLY I made sure to get somebody's attention. We got our drinks. I usually stick with beer on draft. They have a nice selection, which includes some IPA's. My girl ordered an Old Fashioned with Knob Hill. She said it was good, but once we were in our bay the others she ordered were less than ideal. But yeah, the bar could use some attention. We only had to wait 9 minutes past my reservation time to get into our bay. That's GREAT! Once there, our server/rep (Tae) gave us the run down on how things work. He was the best part of our day. He recommended games, told us about the 6 for $55 food order deal, and made sure we were taken care of (so we took care of him). Now......hitting the balls....that's all YOU! Every time I've been to Top Gold it has always been more about bonding with friends, but hitting the balls and getting better over time is fun. We always try to get the farthest holes. The food is good too. I think I liked the lemon pepper wings the best. We also ordered pepperoni flat bread, chicken tenders, queso dip with chips, chicken tacos and it was all good. There are heaters in the winter but they don't help that much so I would suggest dressing warm if it's cold outside. A bunch of coworkers and I visited in December for our annual shift party. We made a reservation way in advance since this location gets pretty busy. We were taken in on time for our reservation. We were sat at the end of the second floor and really enjoyed the sitting area we had. It was all couches vs the high top tables other areas had. The service was a bit slow and it took forever to get our drinks after it already took a while for our drink order to be taken. We ordered a bunch of different items off of the menu to include boneless and bone in wings, nachos, burgers and desserts. Everything was delicious and I do not think anyone had any complaints about the food. As far as beer goes, you are able to mix and match when ordering a bucket which worked out well for the group. The majority of us had never been to Topgolf before so although the server briefly explained how to input everyone's names, it was confusing and we often golfed on the wrong name because we didn't know how to switch it over to the next player. The food runner was extremely rude and slow when dropping off food. When we attempted to hand her a couple of empty plates since our table was overflowing with dirty dishes, she stopped and gave a dirty look for at least 5 seconds before ultimately taking the plates. I am sorry...maybe not your exact job description but it would be nice if they had a little friendly customer service. It also took a while to get silverware. When we finally did get some, they brought three sets although there were six people at our table. Common sense did not run strong with the employees. This was my first Topgolf experience! And as I expected, I sucked at it XD. From other friends, I've heard nightmare stories about really slow service for food and drinks. So I came with my expectations not so high. So when I showed up, I noticed there are two parking lots -- there's a small one right in front of the building, and there's a much bigger one across the street. The small one was completely full just from eyeballing it so I didn't even bother... but finding a spot in the other lot was quite easy. I saw my friend waiting outside, so I joined the waiting gang. We went in and after about 5 minutes they took us to our section on an upper level. The layout is very stadium-like, it's cool! Once we got settled, we had so many golf clubs to choose from. Took me a while to find one I was comfortable with. And a highlight for me was how to get the golf balls -- all you had to do was wave your club over a thing. SO COOL!!! In regards to the food and drink service, it was fine! We had wings and some good drinks -- the prices weren't insane either! The service wasn't that slow. There were one or two times when I said "I'm ready to order something else!" but it wasn't as bad as I had heard. I do thing they too could benefit from a QR code / toasttab system (I said this about Main Event as well). I'd come back... maybe not make it a regular thing because I rather not embarrass myself with my scores, but it's fun! read more

For my first time coming here I'd say playing the games were fun but the service was not great , our servers name was Joel F. I was not happy with how slow certain things where for the food id understand, but to bring me one 1 Pepsi waiting for like 10 mins+ also asking for some ranch which I never got, ALSOOO we had two checks because we came as a friend group of 4 in total so the checks got split I explained everything we got on our half and my boyfriend handed his card and our other friends have their check, so two cards where handed, tell me why he charged both checks in our friends card after CONFIRMING BOTH CARD HOLDERS.... And that's not even the worst part my boyfriend accidentally left his keys at the table and he went to go back and get them, my bf informs me that our server acted like a clueless man, looking all over in the couches making it seem like he was actually helping him look, when it was in the pile of trash of food that we ate, underneath used napkins!!! I had my son's 4th birthday party here and I must say that it was amazing!!! My son said that he had the best birthday and didn't want to leave! It was fun having a competition to see who could score the most points with each game. "Z" took care of our group and she was the best! So friendly and attentive! The food was really good, and portions were decent. Even though it rained the entire time we were there, the way the place is designed, we barely felt any rain at all. They allowed us to bring in our own cake for the party and the chef brought out a happy birthday ninja turtle sign that made my son's night even better! We will definitely be back again! read more

Went to Top Golf for a work event and even though I'm terrible at golf, it can be such a fun time! It is on the expensive side per hour on a Friday night (understandably). We got some food and beers and all came out quickly and were correct for what we ordered. My only complaint is that we reserved our spot for 2 hours and with about a half hour left they did last call for food/drinks which seemed a bit early and also turned off the heaters for our sections. I understand that it's to help motivate us to leave and allow time for them to prepare for the next people, but to have the heaters turned off for 25% of our reservation time seem a bit overkill. I had an absolute blast here. They only lost one star bc the food wasn't very good. I ordered the nachos and added the smoked chicken. The chicken didn't taste smoked, was gamey, and DRY and chewy. The spiked strawberry lemonade was amazing. There was just the right amount of alcohol. The staff were A+. They were so helpful and accommodating and engaging. We definitely had a great time interacting with them. We were able to get seated with the couches under the heating lamps, so it made the visit even more comfortable. I'll def return with the family. Always a great time at Top Golf! I've visited twice, once in the summer and this time in the winter. I always come closer to opening or a little bit afterwards to avoid crowds which I find is the best experience. I'm not good at golf but top golf is a confidence booster when I score lol. I haven't tried the food, but the drinks are very good. I got the spiked strawberry lemonade while my friend got the mai tai. The overhead heaters didn't really work for us which was a bummer so I probably will only visit in the summer from now on. Other than the games, the facility is very clean (bathrooms, eating area), has plenty of seating inside for eating. Parking is good but the later you come, on the weekend, you'll have to wait for someone else to leave. read more

There is parking right out front of the door or across the street in a Free, large parking lot We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait a few. but no worries - we sat the bar and waited for a text message to let us know a Bay was ready NACHOS -- gahhhh, i want some RIGHT now. they were so good! I went on another occasion, during happy hour hours, on a Friday and it cost double the amount compared to this time I went. The food was pretty good but the experience is top notch. I've always had a good time going to this TopGolf. The place is very easy to get to from DC and the app makes it convenient to show up and get started quickly. The food is actually better than you'd think - I sort of expected it to be on the level of Alamo Draft House and it was a solid step above. The reason why I go 4 instead of 5 is that it's an expensive night out (over $150 for 90 minutes + dinner), so for that much money, the service should be noticeably great, but instead it's forgettably average. read more

I had SO much fun here this past weekend. We ran behind by about 30 minutes due to traffic but got a new spot in 10 minutes. Parking was plentiful and a breeze. The technology was intuitive and easy to use, and I enjoyed being able to actually see the trajectory of my swings along with other helpful stats. The heated seats and the heating lamp were excellent for a ~50 degrees day. I also enjoyed sampling through the various bar foods. We got soft pretzels (yum!), chips and guacamole, and buffalo chicken dip. They also have a mango sour that is quite yummy and perfect for a lazy Saturday afternoon. I checked online, at 8 pm, for availability on a Sunday night. I wasn't able to make a reservation so I signed up for the waitlist. The list was 2 to 2 1/2 hours long. I was alerted, by text, in about 2 hours and I provided the text response of arrival in 30 minutes. After we arrived onsite, we were told that a bay was not available yet and to please wait. We went to the bar to grab drinks. There was no one at the hostess stand. And several of the tables were unoccupied and dirty. It wasn't clear if there was self seating or not. We headed to the bar and waited for a couple of seats to open up. The bar was not clean either. Although there was a young man walking behind the bar, he was not the bartender, who also walked past the dirty tables with empty glasses, and half eaten plates of food sitting on the bar. The bartender was busy taking orders from patrons at the bar and filling drink orders. The bartender worked her way over to us to take our order and we finally got drinks. She was friendly and attentive. Then we went back to the check in area. Apparently we were removed from the waitlist. I was told I didn't reply to the last text I received so I was dropped off the list. We were quickly added back and finally got a bay around 11 pm. We started in our bay as quickly as we could because it was so late. The table in our area needed to be wiped down. The server was able to take care of this. We ordered food and drinks. The flatbread pizza was good. We also ordered lemon pepper wings. Not sure what flavor wings we got, they were good, except they were not lemon pepper, more like teriyaki. One drink arrived in a glass and the other, in what looked like metal cocktail shaker. This was odd. I will give this location another chance.
