First and last time.....chicken parm sub which I was told was chicken breast they filet and cook in house and meatball and ricotta appetizer. Chicken parm was cut up DARK meat chicken (boneless thigh) and was chewy. Cheese was a cheap plastic tasting cheese. Meatball app was surprisingly good. Delivery was fast and foot was hot....but chicken parm was not good at all. And substituting boneless dark meat for white is not acceptable. read more

OK I will start this off by saying I am a foodie and have been in the industry for over 30 years... While I have yet to have their pizza, I just had their burger again (two times in three days) via delivery.. REALLY the best burger I have had in South Florida....very flavorful and lean meat, perfect amount of cheese and the fact that they use crispy bacon pieces as opposed to uncooked strips of bacon like so many other places, makes it so much tastier, with a salty bacon crunch in every bite. The Burger rolls/kaisers are the BEST as well.....They serve these with crinkle fries, fried to perfection, crunchy on the outside and potatoey on the inside. NOW service....The young lady on the phone could not have been nicer or more helpful, actually seemed to LIKE her job, asked specific questions to make sure we got everything we needed, and even attempted to up-sell us with dessert recommendations. ...here is the BEST part....about 10 minutes after we ordered the owner called to see if anything had been missed, wanted to make sure that we wanted our burgers 'naked'.....he rattled off a list of toppings and condiments. I ordered a pizza right at opening.. their busiest time, the pizza came delivered missing one topping( not a big deal) So I called the guy back aNd within 25 minutes he made it correct, apologized , and the pizza , actually both were Delicious, I mean very very good! Horrible customer service. i used the Slice app to place an Advertised special for two large pizzas, with two toppings for a total of $7.99. I placed the order and my credit card was charged. when I went to the restaurant to pick up my pizzas, I was told by the person working there, that the owner canceled the order. Apparently the slice app made a mistake with the promo, but instead of honoring the promotion, the owner decided to cancel my entire order. You would think that during this covid 19 dilemma, the owner would try to get as much business as possible, and just do the right thing and honor the promotion. if that's The owner's idea of great customer service, then I will definitely not be patronizing this establishment anymore. that was a very poor business judgment. Have friends that rave about Topping's Pizza. I have to echo several of the other reviews. This pizza was extremely undercooked. If you're serving a thin crust pizza, the crust has to be crisp, or at least cooked! The entire middle of the pizza was mush that fell apart when you took a slice. A sorry excuse for a pizza/sub delivery buisness. I ordered wings and a cheeseburger. The wings were undercooked, wrong cheese on burger and the burger was not prepared to specification. Later that night I awoke feeling very ill. I ended up spending the rest of the night in the bathroom then driving to the emergency room the next morning where I was informed I had a bacterial infection caused from salmonella. Since the undercooked wings was the most likely culprit, I can only assume it was the cause. We were in the mood for hot Italian subs so we decided to call Toppings from a menu we got this summer. I remember another time we ordered from them and I wasn't impressed but anyway we ordered 2 chicken parmesan subs and an order of mozzarella sticks. They said it would be an hour and it was just short of that. The mozzarella sticks were excellent! The best I've ever had! However the subs although a good size were pretty bland. Couldn't taste the chicken or the sauce. Hardly any cheese on it either. The only good thing I can say is that the bread was good and held up well, didn't fall apart or get soggy. I love toppings pizza food but the main issue I have with them is the price changing. Their restaurant is on Grubhub and Eat24 and I've ordered from both the first time was Eat24 and the price I got at the end of placing my order was $18 and some change and when the delivery driver came they told me a different price which was $24 and some change. That's ridiculous they said it had to do with EAt24 and was going to get removed from there. So a week later I order from Grubhub instead and the same problem. This problem is very inconvenient to the customers and a issue. This is not the customers problem. The restaurant needs to remove themselves from Eat24 and Grubhub if this is happening. If they don't this problem will keep continue to occur and customers such as myself won't be happy. read more

This was to be our first time ordering to have food delivered to our office. We had an employee of theirs drop off a menu along with a 50% off coupon today. We promptly phoned & proceeded to order $70.00+ of menu items. When we explained we had a 50% off coupon is when everything went down hill, the girl doesn't seem to know there's even a coupon & asks where we received the coupon from, expiration date etc. Then she proceeds to inform us that we are allowed a maximum of $20.00 discount! Really how does that amount to 50% off of a $78.00 order. There is a notation on the coupon that states "DISCOUNT applicable UP TO $40.00". Since the word DISCOUNT is used this should mean that your Max discount can't exceed $40.00, NO? I'm told by the girl that it applies only to orders that total up to total food orders of $40.00 resulting in a $20.00 discount. I politely state to the girl that the coupon doesn't state that and that we won't be ordering again. She puts the Owner/Manager on and I again state that the coupon reads a discount of 50% with a maximum of $40.00, he says no it doesn't and we've been doing this for 10 years. I state that the coupon is very misleading and that as a "First" time customer we wouldn't be ordering again. He very rudely tells me "that's ok, as a matter of fact I won't bother to send you this order either", appalled that an Owner of business would speak to a customer like this I start to reply that this is horrible customer service and he promptly hangs up the phone. When I went to look up the reviews and saw how many Bad reviews there are, mostly reflective of bad attitudes & deplorable customer service received, along with terrible food and visits to the ER due to the food. I'm assuming that's why they're desperate to bait & switch new customer with misleading ads & coupons. I'm glad this nasty Owner cancelled our order, he definitely did us a favor and most likely saved us all a trip to the ER or a long night of Potty sitting at the least. I'm sure this place is not only struggling but with nasty attitudes and lousy food they won't be around much longer! Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs lunch special, the menu said it was supposed to come with 3 meatballs and it only came with 2. Did not put silverware, napkins, Parmesan cheese etc. in the bag. The pizza is decent BUT THEY OVERCHARGE! The issue is they ask if you 'want your receipt' and OVERCHARGED me TWICE in a row! Would YOU notice a $1 added to your bill? Now I wonder how many other times (to me and maybe others) they added a $1 cause 'the PRICE PRINTED ON THE MENUE WAS WRONG!' or charged me a delivery charge when I picked-up . I called them after noticing the price was too high the first time (with the delivery charge). I called them back and they said they would credit me. They didn't. I confronted them the next time and they charged an extra $1 for the Caprese Pizza. The owner said the price on the menu was wrong (even though the online price was the same as the menu)! I am pretty picky when it comes to Pizza. I've ordered from Toppings a few times, and I can honestly say I'd go to a chain pizza shop before going back to Toppings. The times I've gone in for pick up, I felt like I was interrupting them and causing a bother by asking for assistance. When I have ordered delivery, the pizza wasn't really hot and the bag the delivery man pulled the pizza out of looked disgusting and filthy. I don't order from Toppings anymore as we have asked them several times to stop leaving flyers on doors in our apartment complex and have been ignored. We spoke with both manager and owner and still we get flyered consistently. There are lots of better pizza places in the Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors area that offer a much better pizza at a better price. read more

Topping's hands down is the best Italian restaurant that delivers I've ever used in Ft. Lauderdale. Now they aren't a high end place but don't pretend to be. They have all the standards plus burgers and subs. Everything is done just perfect with a special touch that takes their dishes to the next level. As usual I stay away from items that don't travel well so I don't get disappointed. The fried calamari or French fries for instance, just skip, however their half pound angus burgers are all hand made and wonderful. To die for items include the Stromboli, Calzone and Pizza due in part to their fresh bread dough that is very tasty. They have a nice app section along with the catering menu. I'm still waiting for that bad day everyone seems to have, so far after many years it hasn't happened. Great Job Guys. read more
