They do something right that other pastrami places fall short of and that mainly the overall fee of the sandwich when you bite into it. It's juicy but not drenched. Also it's easy to eat. The bread they use is not too firm anywhere yet holds it all together wonderfully. If you want to know how it tastes, you will just have to eat it yourself because anything I can say about it won't do it justice. Unfortunately it was too irresistible for me to even leave any pictures. Trust I will be there again and hopefully have the self control to snap a few first before it disappears. On a side note, though I got the combo with fries and a drink, ended up going back and getting the gametime fries. Fries, chili, cheese, and pastrami and finished that too. I have a limited review. I frequent this little takeout box for the pastrami and fries. It's my go to takeout for pastrami, fries, and orange bang. I've tried other pastrami from closer takeouts but they all seem to be a little off. Lucky Boys, Highlife, Top Hat, etc. so I go with what works. I especially like the thin cut fries. Pretty disappointed with the grilled chicken salad...the flat dried out really flattened out skinny chicken breast is horrible, looks like you guys ran over it with a trash truck tastes like it too. I prefer the old style chicken salad cuz the chicken was juicy and flavorful. This new 2024 chicken is like chicken jerky, it's bad, must cost you guys 50cents to serve. I went to Tops Jr because of a tik tok I saw and I love hamburger joints like this since I was a kid. Tops Jr is one of few places that still carry a beef burrito. Most places have converted to a carne asada burrito and no longer have the shredded beef with cheese burrito. I ordered and paid with a credit card. I went home when my credit card alert hit and started a higher amount than my receipt. I take a closer look at my receipt and it states paid in CASH??!! Can't believe they charged me $9 extra. I placed a dispute with me cc company and hope I can recoup my $9. The food was very good and this place could have been my go to but unfortunately for them, they will no longer get my business. They guy told me there was no manager there, that Rene the manager would be there tomorrow and he took my information and said he would have him call me. I had a salad for lunch yesterday so I had a major meat craving for dinner. I stopped going to In and Out because the last time I went there for a cheese burger I could see a little meat and a ton of lettuce. I could taste the lettuce but not the beef and I was starving 15 minutes later, so I stopped going. I asked Tops Jr how much beef they use and they said they werent sure but they knew it was less than 1/4 lb. I asked if I would be hungry after 30 minutes and they said no. Well guess what? It didnt satisfy my meat craving and I couldn't taste the beef and I was starving 15 minutes later. $7.71 for a lettuce burger? Give me a break. I paid for a hamburger but that is NOT what I got !!! I understand that all restaurants have to raise their prices in california to stay afloat but unfortunately they are also reducing the quality of their food. If you have to raise your prices, then raise your prices - But don't lower the quality of your food. If I order a hamburger, then I expect a hamburger. And If you have to raise your price to $20 for a hamburger then at least I can decide if I can afford it and choose a diffeferent option rather then wasting $7.71 on nothing where it could have gone towards something more substational. read more

Meh. Just ok. I ordered a a large zucchini and a chili burger. While the tase of each were ok, I have issues with both items. The zucchini was all breading. It was like eating zucchini peelings coated in fried flower. There was so little vegetable that it was not edible. The chili burger was tasty. The downside was the the patty used was about as thick as a thin McDonald's hamburger. SO thin and it was $4.50! This place is two blocks from my house but I will keep passing buy to a better eatery. read more
