Bacon breakfast burrito, hash browns, and large orange bang, with tip, for $20. Can't wait to do it again, minus the hash browns of course.

It's hard to find a spot like this: The employee, possibly the owner, was all smiles, treated you like he was happy to have you there, the prices aren't ridiculous, and the food is tremendous! I got their bacon breakfast burrito, and orange Bang, and hash browns. The breakfast burrito was 9/10 delicious, and about $3 cheaper than the equally delicious Pepe's on Rosemead Blvd. The orange bang was cold and refreshing, and thankfully not 90% foam like a lot of other places serve it. The hash browns were disappointing, which is the only reason I didn't give them 5-stars. I'm very happy to have found this place.

A quick search and this little gem popped up. Super impressed! The burgers were delicious. Loved the "1000 island dressing". The fries were a major home run!

A small Mexican style cusine with a couple of booth inside. I believe it's a family owned business with really good taste. BTW, the cheeseburger is so great!

Please, please, please, never let this spot die down. As a kid, my mom used to buy us burgers all the time from this spot growing up. I recently visited and the quality of the food is just as good as it was when I was a kid. There's just something really special about their burgers. The workers are really nice and the food is always fresh. The quality has always been consistent as far as I can remember. It's a nice cute little spot sitting off of Main Street. Everyone's always talking about supporting small businesses. This is a spot that very much deserves all the support it can get. Thank you Palace Burgers! I'll be back again whenever I am in town.

Went in just before they closed. Wanted to try the chili cheese fries. Hit the spot. Service was good, they were quick to get it done. I'm a huge fan of hole in the wall places and this one really did well of being a "hidden gem".

I saw another similar review for their breakfast burrito but please read because I don't sugarcoat. I was at an event by Regal Cinemas and decided to stop by Palace Burgers to see what it was about. I was craving a breakfast burrito and decided to try one from here. When I arrived, I noticed that they have a breakfast burrito special posted on their window - $10.25 + tax for a burrito with eggs, bacon, ham, and sausage, so at first I felt good about this place. I also ordered an asada burrito. The lady who served me was nice, but other than that, it's hard to justify coming here again. First off, the parking lot sucks - all the spaces are pointed one way, shared with other businesses, and the spaces are kind of small. The wait for the food was long. I was there at noon on a Saturday and there was no one in the restaurant except me at the time yet the kitchen looked busy and it took a long time for them to deliver my food. As I waited, I noticed a sign that stated 1 salsa per item and 50 cents for extra salsa, and honestly that's a major let down. When my order was already, the worker asked me if I wanted red or green salsa. Honestly I would have preferred to try both but since they have that sign up, I decided to say 1 green and 1 red because I ordered two items (the asada burrito was for my sister). Anyways, the breakfast burrito that was their "burrito special" was the worst breakfast burrito I ever had. The burrito didn't feel packed, it took several bites in before I could taste any filling and it felt flimsy. The tortilla was a bit too charred, and the entire burrito was overcooked, bordering on burnt. The eggs were overcooked and dry, the ham was dry and flavorless, the bacon was dry and hard, the potatoes were actually burnt, and the sausage flavor wasn't coming through. I paired the burrito with both the red and green sauce (both sauces were too small in my opinion, especially since they provide just 1 salsa per item for free). The red sauce was slightly better in my opinion but the salsas were below average - slight kick but bland. The whole burrito was so dry that what little salsa I was given could not dampen the burrito. I tried a bit of the asada burrito and that tasted better than my breakfast burrito, however my sister also noted that the meat in it was overcooked. Overall, two stars for okay-ish service, bad parking situation, long wait for food, poor food taste, and low value.

4 stars When nostalgia hits, I find myself going back to places I once frequented. This is one of those mom-n-pop shops I used to come to when I was in highschool. Specifically visiting on minimum days or the Friday before a long weekend. My younger self would always get the cheeseburger combo to-go and they would package it in a box, which I would hold on my walk home - switching hands every couple of minutes because of how hot everything was. Besides the price, I don't know if anything on the menu has changed, but I do remember the fries used to be seasoned and very addicting! Anyways, this morning, I decided to visit this restaurant again after years of absence. I ordered their bacon & egg burrito and it was good. The salsa definitely enhanced it. I recognize the owner and he hasn't aged one bit! Service was fast and everything looked the way I remembered it, except for the menu sign and prices. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area.

Review is for the bacon breakfast burrito. It was just okay, hash browns weren't really fully cooked or browned, won't be returning.

The bacon cheeseburger was really good. The patty had great flavor, the bun was soft, the bacon was crispy, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. The fried mushrooms were delicious too. The batter was so crispy. On my second, and most recent, visit, I ordered their teriyaki plate. Although it's not on the menu, I asked for half chicken and half beef. The plate comes with white rice and a simple green salad with Thousand Island dressing. While the teriyaki had good flavor, I didn't really enjoy it. I was expecting the meat to be thinly sliced, but instead it was cut into large cubes. If you like bigger chunks of meat in your teriyaki, you'll probably enjoy theirs. The prices were pretty steep for a short-order restaurant. The teriyaki plate was $15.99 plus tax. I also ordered my boyfriend a bacon cheeseburger combo, which was $16.99 plus tax. The combo comes with a small drink. For the price, I think they should at least offer a medium-sized drink. They do offer refills, though. Customer service was good. Everyone was welcoming and friendly.

We all know discrimination and prejudice exists. It's an unfortunate part of life. I'm no stranger to it. It's usually not quite this overt. This was a little too blatant to just sweep under the rug. Is having to spend an extra $0.75 a big deal? No. Is blatant discrimination? It's enough to stop supporting this business.

First off, go to your local diner. Wherever it is. Entrepreneurship is the spirit and blood I think of big this beautiful place we live in. At its core, I believe it exist in places like your local diner. But I'm gonna get off my soapbox. As long as I've been a patron of this restaurant, it has been the same family running it and that is probably on the higher side of maybe 20 years. This restaurants food is authentic both on the Mexican side as well as the American side. Their flavors are consistent and a great value on the portion side as well. Ok the food: breakfast The pancakes are a must. Just really good. Try them. The omelets are top notch. Bacon, Broccoli and Swiss don't miss. Whichever side you choose whether potato or cottage cheese and a slice of tomato with an English muffin (you're welcome) are solid choices. The Bun N Burger special omelet is also a great choice. Steak chunks, onions, peppers, guacamole and cheese. Yeah, that. I do no peppers and extra onions myself. Delicious. Chilaquiles (the red) with steak and two fried eggs. A big ole plate of buenos días. Machaca is also in the rotation here for me. With extra salsa on the side. Highly enjoyable. Chile verde, fried eggs with rice and beans. Big yes. Side of bacon here is a low key must btw. Breakfast burritos on point too. But that's usually a to go thing for me. Burgers: Their burger special is the best burger deal locally. Go find out. I love their patty melt with their waffle fries on the side. They include a pickle slice too. Classic. The shakes here are a made in the metal cup the old school way and brought to you in the metal cup as well. My favorite way to have them. I could go on but I've said enough.
