It's walking distance from the dealership to the shopping center where Palace Burgers is at its in small shopping center with 7-Eleven and and Subway. I notice walking to the restaurant they have a breakfast burritos special for $10,25 I decided to get that special. I walk in the restaurant it's a small hold in the wall restaurant. They serve breakfast,lunch and dinner they also have breakfast,sandwiches,salads and Mexican. Everything in their small kitchen is made fresh and made to order when you order your food. I order the special breakfast burrito it comesvwith bacon,ham,eggs and potatoes. It's a nice size burrito will kept you full in the morning I really enjoy the burrito very much it have a good flavor in burrito. Palace Burgers is a place to get a sandwich other than a burger for eat-in or take out. For brunch I ordered for takeout an egg & avocado sandwich on toasted white bread. It was filling and tasty: fried eggs, a thick layer of avocado, several layers of iceberg lettuce and slices of tomato with a spread of mayonnaise. Service was very quick. Palace Burger is in a small corner strip mall with other well-known businesses (Seven-Eleven, Subway, laundromat) and a short walk from Nissan of Alhambra service center. It's hard to find a spot like this: The employee, possibly the owner, was all smiles, treated you like he was happy to have you there, the prices aren't ridiculous, and the food is tremendous! I got their bacon breakfast burrito, and orange Bang, and hash browns. The breakfast burrito was 9/10 delicious, and about $3 cheaper than the equally delicious Pepe's on Rosemead Blvd. The orange bang was cold and refreshing, and thankfully not 90% foam like a lot of other places serve it. The hash browns were disappointing, which is the only reason I didn't give them 5-stars. I'm very happy to have found this place. read more

Please, please, please, never let this spot die down. As a kid, my mom used to buy us burgers all the time from this spot growing up. I recently visited and the quality of the food is just as good as it was when I was a kid. There's just something really special about their burgers. The workers are really nice and the food is always fresh. The quality has always been consistent as far as I can remember. It's a nice cute little spot sitting off of Main Street. This is how my "adoration" for their beacon breakfast burrito began. My neighbor brought me a bacon breakfast burrito from The Palace one weekday while I was working from home. And like a famished piglet I ate the whole thing and remained extremely full for the entire day! Burp! Their burrito has some delicious thinly sliced fried potatoes, a pretty good amount of bacon and a couple scrambled eggs. It was just too good to put down. I don't recall if it had cheese due to wolfing it down like it was my last meal before going to prison for 10 years, hehehehehehe. So after thinking about that burrito like a lost lover, I figured it was my time to go in and check out the joint . . . after all, I live 2 blocks away. So I cruise in and order a bacon breakfast burrito. I notice the girl working the counter, Sandra is frying some huge azz jalapenos, then sprinkles some salt on them, the way my grandma use to for my grandfather. I immediately ask her if I can have one, and she says, "Yes!" I was soooo excited to take that jalapeno home and munch it down! As I enjoyed my burrito, I was smart this time, I only ate half . . . saved the other half for my Monday breakfast. Lastly, their green (mild) & red (hot) salsas are full of flavor and on point with regard to seasonings. As simple as the burrito is for the most part, the flavor is just enough to make your taste buds smile and want another one. The cost is 12 bucks and some change, but well worth it. I saw another similar review for their breakfast burrito but please read because I don't sugarcoat. I was at an event by Regal Cinemas and decided to stop by Palace Burgers to see what it was about. I was craving a breakfast burrito and decided to try one from here. When I arrived, I noticed that they have a breakfast burrito special posted on their window - $10.25 + tax for a burrito with eggs, bacon, ham, and sausage, so at first I felt good about this place. I also ordered an asada burrito. The lady who served me was nice, but other than that, it's hard to justify coming here again. First off, the parking lot sucks - all the spaces are pointed one way, shared with other businesses, and the spaces are kind of small. The wait for the food was long. I was there at noon on a Saturday and there was no one in the restaurant except me at the time yet the kitchen looked busy and it took a long time for them to deliver my food. As I waited, I noticed a sign that stated 1 salsa per item and 50 cents for extra salsa, and honestly that's a major let down. When my order was already, the worker asked me if I wanted red or green salsa. Honestly I would have preferred to try both but since they have that sign up, I decided to say 1 green and 1 red because I ordered two items (the asada burrito was for my sister). Anyways, the breakfast burrito that was their "burrito special" was the worst breakfast burrito I ever had. The burrito didn't feel packed, it took several bites in before I could taste any filling and it felt flimsy. The tortilla was a bit too charred, and the entire burrito was overcooked, bordering on burnt. The eggs were overcooked and dry, the ham was dry and flavorless, the bacon was dry and hard, the potatoes were actually burnt, and the sausage flavor wasn't coming through. I paired the burrito with both the red and green sauce (both sauces were too small in my opinion, especially since they provide just 1 salsa per item for free). The red sauce was slightly better in my opinion but the salsas were below average - slight kick but bland. The whole burrito was so dry that what little salsa I was given could not dampen the burrito. I tried a bit of the asada burrito and that tasted better than my breakfast burrito, however my sister also noted that the meat in it was overcooked. Overall, two stars for okay-ish service, bad parking situation, long wait for food, poor food taste, and low value. read more

4 stars When nostalgia hits, I find myself going back to places I once frequented. This is one of those mom-n-pop shops I used to come to when I was in highschool. Specifically visiting on minimum days or the Friday before a long weekend. My younger self would always get the cheeseburger combo to-go and they would package it in a box, which I would hold on my walk home - switching hands every couple of minutes because of how hot everything was. Besides the price, I don't know if anything on the menu has changed, but I do remember the fries used to be seasoned and very addicting! Anyways, this morning, I decided to visit this restaurant again after years of absence. I ordered their bacon & egg burrito and it was good. The salsa definitely enhanced it.
