After being told by Mountain View Tires in (Palm Desert), that I needed to replace my tire sensor for $165.00, something just didn't feel right. Before agreeing to it, I called Jose at (American Tire Depot) and brought my car to his shop for a second opinion. Thank goodness I did. Went in on Thurs to see if they had room to take me (they did but then I realized I couldn't be stranded so wanted to make arrangements with a friend). So I made an appt for next day. I showed up on time the next day and Gabriel did my paperwork and got me in right away. Daniel helped me with the issue of the suspected tire BUT also found another tire had a huge nail in it and he took care of that tire too. Both could be patched and that saved me a tremendous amount of money! He also checked the pressure on all my tires and adjusted everything perfectly. I expected the worst and truly left in the best mood! Everyone was very nice and the employees really seemed to take pride in what they do. It was a nice environment to be around. Highly recommend!!

I liked that I could just drive up without an appointment, and the got me in and out sooo fast…read more Seemed a little too fast... and that turned out to be true, it was too fast. The didn't provide any receipt or feedback on checking any other items. They said it would be emailed to me but I haven't received it even a day later (I've checked my spam folder). To make matters worse, a little oil leak has developed below this vehicle that has NEVER leaked oil previously. I'm sincerely hoping it was just leftover drips that they didn't wipe up, but I'll have to keep monitoring it. My recommendation: make an appointment at some reputable mechanic shop instead of going here. More headache than the time savings was worth.
