Been going to this location for years, dining in is always fantastic. Clean dining room and the food is always tasty, and the front of house staff is always amazing. But do not order togo from them, you will be missing something from your order. This is not a front of house problem this is a kitchen not being able to read a ticket problem. The location is great, the theme is really cool if you can handle the language (I visited with some people who didn't appreciate it, but liked the food). The service was very fast after putting in the order at the kiosk. Menu is extensive enough to provide enough choices, and I appreciated that they included the ingredients for every item prior to ordering. I chose the safest thing for myself which were the nachos. Everyone's food came out quickly and as ordered. For most of our party, the food was good. The two of us who ordered nachos had more chips than anything else, and for $20 with a drink and tip wasn't that great, especially since one of us became ill within 30 minutes of consumption. We love Torchy's! Their flavorful tacos and fun drinks are a household favorite and we go to this location at least one a month - either via takeout or dine in. There is one bartender who is excellent at his job - I wish I caught his name. He does excellent at making everyone feel like a guest at his table. Their tacos are super tasty and some pack a lot of heat (so be cautious there). And they feature a limited TOTM ("Taco of the Month") that keeps their menu as fresh as their food. They were hard tortillas with lukewarm toppings, the correct beans took 2 more tries and another 10 minutes to finally arrive. The rice and beans were both oddly sweet and the rice was complete mush and tasted burnt. When speaking to the manager she wasn't compassionate about the situation and then couldn't complete the refund. She offered a taco card which we presumed was a gift card but actually is just a free taco with a purchase which does not suffice paying for inedible food, as I don't feel eager to come back to this torchys. My wife and I come here at least once per week. This time, there is.a new kiosk self-service ordering system and it's absolutely ridiculous. I work in an airport, and if I wanted to deal with this nonsense I would just go to work. It's slow, complex and you get to watch the public struggle through it like an 80yr old with their first iPhone. Even better, only one kiosk was working. And they do have a normal service register but no one was staffing it until they finally realized people were getting upset when a customer walked into the kitchen for help. To top it all, the food came out slow and they weren't even remotely busy! Oh and the silly kiosk had the nerve to ask for a tip (and yes I still tip). We will be back in a couple weeks, if it's the same experience we are done. read more

I recently moved to the area. I have frequented many Torchy's Tacos while I lived I've lived in Texas. The bartender was great but the food was horrible. Dry tortillas, overcooked food. I placed a to go order using their app. I entered the store at the exact time the order was slated to be ready. A few minutes later, the app said the order was complete. It was not. It took another 35 minutes to get my order. And guess what? It was cold. This was probably my worst experience to pick up an order this year. I used the app to let them know about the issue. When my daughters are in town they make it an absolute must to visit Torchies. In fact they are there now and I would be with them but I have a meeting later in the day. We will start with the only positive unfortunately, the sweet girl who took our order was great!! The bartenders are rude and lazy in my opinion. They stand behind the bar talking to each other, don't really care about customers. When I walked up as we had already gotten our food but no beers.
