This was our first dinner at this location, for starters this place has a great feel...little noisy thought. Next the service was courteous, friendly and fast. My wife ordered a margarita, which she enjoyed. The bartender brought it out in record time! Whatever system they're using, works! I order the grande burrito and my wife got the Baja Taco. She love her taco and was disappointed the it didn't come in a trio plate. My burrito would have gotten five stars except for the high sodium consistency, I love salt but this was a bit too much. We both noticed that the Queso and the chips had a little too much salt. Hopefully the staff can hold back a little on the salt before our next visit. read more

Wow, the reviews here do not give this place enough credit! My team and I are from out of town and were craving taco's and this hit the spot. It was popping on a Saturday evening and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. If I'm back there, I'll definitely come back to eat here! Service: You order at the front, get a buzzer, then wait at a table until your food comes. There's a big menu and servers are attentive. No complaints here. Atmosphere: Good vibes, especially because it was busy. We were lucky to find a table for our group of 7 but there is also outdoor seating. We liked the aesthetics too! Food: Personally, I ordered the Baja shrimp taco and the green Chile pork. Both very big portions and very filling. The Baja shrimp was probably my favorite because it wasn't as dense as the pork but both were delicious. My group also thought that the democrat and mr. orange were the favorites. We also got chips with guac and queso. The queso was so good! The salsa was also good and had a kick to it. Overall, awesome spot and great food. The tacos are decent but the wait for service, especially online-for-pickup orders, is atrocious. This is clearly a location that is overwhelmed by the success that will likely sink it. A promised online pickup time of 7:10pm, for example, came and went. It was 8 pm before it was ready. Also, always always always open up the bags before you leave and double check the order. Which made it very hard to order for other people. This place used to be amazing five stars every time now this time not so much. An example would be the Baja fish taco. The fish was overcooked, dried out, and just a bit difficult to chew. For a six dollar taco you think they would've thrown that away and tried again. But no, they decided to serve it anyway. Glad that I asked before I ordered the three-way. Just a word of caution. It has less than half as much queso and is four dollars more but it does have guacamole and salsa of your choice. Glad I didn't get it after I saw the table next to me. Maybe they just changed the menu so they can change it back one day. I'm not in a hurry to go back. Usually I leave and can't wait to go back. I finally tried this place with a gf. The queso was outstanding. I'd go back just for that, maybe dump it all over all the things. We each got a couple of tacos as well. Tacos are always solid and don't forget the breakfast tacos. Great to go after dinner and reheat in the morning. The bar tenders are solid and Dave makes a an incredible top shelf Margarita! Dave apparently trains other stores when they open - once he serves you the connection is obvious. There is a regular who is overserved every single day..Steve. He is rude, a liar and obnoxious. If you want other people to come and enjoy their experience, limit this guy. He is scaring away customers. Food used to be good, drinks were good but prices went up and natural ingredients have gone away (fresh lime juice) Half the time the queso is cold. Grill the tortillas. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Fast-casual Mexican restaurant that's above-average in food and decor. Torchy's, despite the name and its fast-casualness, looks quite sophisticated-trendy inside. A group of us dropped in for lunch and we all thought it was pretty good. The hubby and I shared a Fried Avocado taco, guacamole and chips, a side of beans and the street corn. It doesn't sound like much but the taco was huge and the portions on the other items were generous as well--we were stuffed by the end! Wow. This place was delicious. This was my first time here and I have to say they make some good tacos. I had the trailer park and the green chili pork tacos. The trailer park was my favorite but both were very good. Everyone here was super nice as well and they have really good pricing for how much your get. These tacos were stuffed and definitely weren't lacking in flavor. They also have a specific drink on their tap that is awesome. The Pink Drink. It's a prickly pear lemonade and is amazing. S.....L....O....WWWWWWW........ and only average tasting tacos. It was so slow it became a joke and we though we were being punked. Here's the kicker, it was at breakfast time and the place was less than half full. No excuses or this. We went back for happy hour time and tacos. Sat at the bar this time. The Bartender "Coconut" was a 5 Star server with personality and friendly service, but again, it took too long to get food and the food was lacking flavor. I want this to be a 3-4 Star location, but right now it's a 2 Star rating. Maybe this is new location struggles and it will be better in a month or so. Now I know what all the hype is about! Wow. I'm not the biggest fan of tacos but these were worth every bite. I got the green chili pork and the brushfire, and both were equally delicious and generously stuffed with meat (ahem, Chipotle.) Both salsas were amazing. A friend offered some of the quasi duo he had that had green chili and avocado in it and that was probably a bad idea on his part because I ended up eating half of them. Torchy's, how do i begin. It's nice out today, so we sat on the patio, social distancing, of course. We ordered off the secret menu, yes they have one. We ordered the hillbilly trailer park and the green chili missionary style. Both tacos were absolutely amazing! However, they served the missionary with a secret sauce, so i assume, let me just say that they should keep it a secret and not let anyone EVER know that it exists because it is not very good. The patio music is turned up so if you like that club atmosphere you will love the dining at Torchy's! read more

I have eaten here twice. The tacos are Americanized and mediocre. The second time I ate here I had terrible food poisoning and I have yet to go back. Having come home, I finally made it out to this Torhcy's Tacos. FOOD: The Republican. The Democrat. EVERYTHING really. I mean, you can get a wide variety of options here, which is the nice thing about Torchy's. It's got something for everybody for its protein choice and all. I think my favorite tacos that I had that evening were Brushfire and The Democrat. SERVICE: Really slow. If you are coming here, make sure to order in advanced to avoid the line. It moved really slow and I honestly am surprised why it's so slow. Overall, Torchy's Tacos is a ubiquitous Texas chain that has become popular in Colorado, but still falls short of expectation in flavor, consistency, and service. I haven't stepped foot inside Torchy's but I got a DoorDash delivery from here for the first time this week and was not disappointed. This was a group lunch order, sent the link to a bunch of coworkers and got the delivery a little earlier than the website said. I got a salad and everyone else got tacos and burritos. My salad was fantastic. They also sent loads of napkins and sauces to have with it. The only improvement I can suggest is putting names on the food or on the delivery receipt! Firstly, I want to state that Anthony provides a wonderful experience. And secondly, I will say that outlying experiences happen. Not sure if it was the acoustics in the building, the time of night with lots of vocal parties, or simply not hearing my name called because I had one headset in my ear, but I was there for 24 minutes without receiving my order. I went to the cashiers, where I placed the order, and asked them to kindly simply re-credit my card and I will head elsewhere. He immediately apologized and told his patron, at the register, to please wait patiently while he figures out what is going on. He found my order in the online orders and stated that if they call your name and nobody responds that they simply put it up there, and I didn't hear my name at all. It seems like this was completely unintentional. All of the food I've received from this location has been phenomenal and has made me continue to come back. And as he is running the ship very well, I certainly plan to return with more business and apologize for any misunderstanding between the company and myself through the interaction. I really really hate to leave a below average review. In Austin these places are great. But we had a problem with this one. Ordered the Democrat and the meat in the "Democrat" was gross. All fat and gross. The manager said they had a new supplier. Is that an excuse? I am not sure. The Manager was super nice, but the Democrat taco was awful. I was very disappointed as I just arrived into Denver from Atlanta and stopped here for dinner. I ordered 2 Baja Tacos, the fish seemed days old, soggy & the tacos were cold & tortillas falling apart. A complete waste of $16, so bad I threw away and had to stop again for dinner. read more

The food and experience was great! However there was a particularly rude manager. If I remember correctly his name was Santiago, I didn't appreciate the way he was talking to multiple of his employees and the people that ordered behind us. Very rude guy, should not be a manager. Loved it! We have been wanting to try Torchy's Tacos since it opened, but wanted to wait till the crowds died down. So we finally went last week, on Wednesday evening at 6:30. It was perfect! We walked in and there were just a few people in line ahead of us. We ordered our food quickly and chose to drink just waters and to sit on the patio outside to avoid the noiseThe weather was nice, other than a bit of cooling rain at the end of our meal (but we were under the umbrella so no problem!) There were 3 in our party , all vegetarian and we each ordered chips with different sauces, queso which was the best! guacamole, and salsa also very good! It was a surprisingly large amount of food, but we were all pretty hungry, and it took a a little time before they brought us out our tacos. We each ordered one taco, I ordered the fried avocado, which had refried beans, and was very filling! My son got the Mr. Orange, which was a nice blackened salmon fillet. I am not sure what our friend ordered but I believe it was the Independent with fried portabella mushrooms. All of our tacos were all so delicious! Our only little complaint was that we wish we had asked for a carafe of water as we had to make several trips inside to refill our little cups.)
