I've been a couple of times and this is my favorite sandwich spot in town. Easily. No comparison. Chicken Ceasar earns its astronomical hype. The beef had a peppercorn aioli that could bring tears to your eyes. 10/10. If you're more of a "run the ball" type sandwich enjoyer, then the Italian is your classic go to, but somehow even better? Even their little shop has so many good items to purchase for home.

Heather and Jay were working the counter and had no other reason to interact with me other than to take my order, but instead engaged with me during most of my meal. Absolutely phenomenal authentic Italian coffee experience! I stopped by Torino Cafe in Henderson and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in the valley. The espresso is perfectly pulled -- rich, smooth, and full of flavor without any bitterness. I tried their cappuccino and it was hands-down the best I've had in Las Vegas. Creamy, balanced, and made with real care. The pastries and cornetti are baked fresh daily and taste like they were flown straight in from Torino, Italy. Flaky, buttery, and absolutely delicious. I also loved the focaccia and the unique Bicerin -- what a treat! The vibe is warm and welcoming with beautiful Italian touches throughout. The staff is incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they're doing. Everything feels fresh, high-quality, and made with love. Let's talk coffee for a sec. The coffee is a blend that is roasted in Sicily & imported to Henderson, Nevada. I find it exceptional. So much that I stopped using cream & sugar. I've stopped using that international drive up that burns their beans. (You know who they are.) The deserts are just as good. Highly recommended. No bull from me. I'm so lucky they are just down the hill from my house. Torino is a true European style cafe. This is not "fast food." So expect the guys to take a little longer to prepare. It's the avenue to el pueblo de sabor…read more Huevos Avenue got on my radar after they first opened in Boulder City, but I still didn't feel like checking them out (despite being relatively closer than most non-BC residents) until their second location appeared. It's on Sunset in the same plaza as Todd's Unique Dining. They have a video poker bar from the old business but it looked pretty dead [EDIT: I did overlook the alcohol options on the menu] The main dining room seems like a Mexican-style rustic diner, but the music is American oldies. The Chorizo omelet ($15.99) sounded interesting, and it really was a great option. Tender egg, finely ground sausage with warming spices, onions, mild peppers, creme fraiche, a mild salsa on the side, and an optional (for me anyway) not-as-mild roasted chili were a great combo. They offer one side with that omelet, and I chose two pancakes. I went for the Mexican Cajeta Pancakes (+$1.99), which were fluffy enough but not the absolute best. I did enjoy them with the dulce de leche and condensed milk combo more than the side syrup. I also asked the server for an agua fresca recommendation and went with it. The Jamaica ($3.49) wouldn't have been my choice, but the mildly sweet concoction worked great in between bites of chorizo omelet and also stayed sweet enough between pancake bites while revealing more of the tart hibiscus notes. Huevos Avenue is a very good overall restaurant that deserves much more business than I witnessed today, especially considering that Henderson still does not have as many great spots as it should. Check them out for Mexican breakfast if you find yourself in the area.
