Love tornado burger! I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed.

First timer- won't be my last either.. went for a burger due to the reviews! I suckered and fell for the gyro! Never disappoints me when I stop by here. I haven't eaten here since 6 years ago. I ordered the double meat burger combo. The burgers are homemade and delicious. The fries are as well.The cheese sauce was amazing. The cheesesteaks are similar to east coast style. So good I forgot to take a picture. read more

I tried this place for the first time over a year ago. It was a quick drive thru for a Philly Cheesesteaks on my way to a Scouting event. The sandwich was amazingly good! The fries were hot, crisp, and salted. A large serving for the cost! I have driven thru several times since then with no regrets. read more

This place lives up to its reputation. My family enjoyed everything we got from here, tonight. My "spicy" burger wasn't really spicy, but over all the single beef patty was enjoyable...whether pinching of a small bite of the meat alone or in the melange mixed with the bun, lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions (that I added to the order). We will be returning to this place the next time we are in Houston...and I recommend that you give this place a try. read more

Chicken Philly with American cheese was off the chain good. Hot and fresh off the grill. Bread was superb but the only thing lacking was the fries not being fresh but I didn't let that stop me from thoroughly enjoying the entire meal. Definitely a go to place if your in the area. read more

This is a whole in the wall type of burger spot. But, the burgers are amazing. The spicy cheeseburger is not for light-weight spicy eaters. This burger has some kick to it. The jalapeños are prepared in the ground beef. I fell in love after one bite. This is definitely the best burger I've eaten in soooo long. It's comparable to Five Guys, but more flavorful and the prices are more reasonable. Tornado Burger has a new fan. I'll be back for sure. read more

went here around 8:25 and my mom lost here wallet here. walked in to see if someone returned the wallet and the worker handed me the wallet. I asked him where was the money and he handed me his tip money which was $27 instead of the original $80 that was in the wallet. we called the police and of course our money wasn't returned. the manager lied and said the manager wasn't in today after he told me he was the manager. they also did not allow us to review the cameras. the manager proceeded to laugh in our face until the police came. I haven't tried the burgers (shocker!), but I have tried their chicken pita and chicken tenders. The chicken pita was decent (though I wish I knew it came with feta and asked them to remove it - not a fan), but I wish the chicken was more seasoned/marinated. The sauce on it was A+, though. The tenders were amazing! I opted for the "hot" sauce, and it was a great choice. This is comparable to Cane's box combo, except they've got some sauce and no coleslaw. The portions are HUGE, which is a great deal for the price. The only issue I had (and it could just be me because I'm incredibly picky with chicken), is the chicken tasted off once I put it in the fridge. As far as service goes, I haven't been inside, but the drive thru is pretty quick. The food arrived hot and fresh, and I like that this is a locally owned establishment. I was in the general area of Stafford and decided to have lunch here yesterday. Parking was easy as there is plenty space available. The restaurant has plenty of signage advertising its location and food and makes it stand out and appealing to visit to try their food. It is an older divey building that has two dining areas. One is near the ordering area and consists of 2 and 4 chair tables and the adjoining separate room that has fixed booths and a bar stool eating table. Each looks like it would accommodate 20-30 diners. I ordered the #1 which is a double meat double cheese burger combo that comes with a drink and French fries for $7.75. They have other combos to choose from with more or less meat. Their patties are 3 oz. so they recommend getting a double meat burger. I agree since their prices are so affordable. Also they offer regular beef patties and a spicy beef patties for no extra charge. I went with the regular but next time will try the spicy. After I finished ordering at the counter, I noticed large buckets with whole potatoes in them. Homemade French fries are always preferable. My order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The burger was very good and juicy (3.5). 2-3 napkins for sure. I usually don't get cheese on burgers to save on the calories (lol). This burger was wet and gooey but in a good way. The bun held up till the end. I think next time, I will get the same order except delete the cheese and ask for the spicy meat to sample it. The regular beef patties were still good though. The fries come in a cup and were just as good as I had hoped (4). This is how every burger place should make their fries. The meal was a 4. Very good burger and fries at a economical cost. You can tell this is a fave burger joint for the locals. I left full and with plenty of change in my pocket from a $10 bill! read more

What a local gem! I have tried their spicy burger and it is damn good but the real star to be honest is their cheesesteak! I live kind of far from Stafford but it's so good, it makes me wanna drive over there tomorrow and get another one! The first time I went, I just got the plain fries but little did I know that they had the garlic parmesan fries! Best Philly cheesesteak in Houston. Decent burgers too! You can customize everything, even the fries. Prices are reasonable. A combo is about $9. I took one star for the following reasons: 1- the dining area is not always clean. And the place always smells bad. 2- the bathrooms never seem to have soap when I go there, sometimes there's a soap but it's empty and someone just added water in there. This was a decent burger and really good fries. I saw this spot on yelp and thought I'd come by. It isn't fancy at all but you know that the food is why people come. They have a special spicy meat that you can get on your burger. I love spice so I decided to do that. The burger itself definitely had a satisfying heat to it but not too much. The fries were so fresh and perfectly salted. I enjoyed this place. If you're looking for a juicy burger I wouldn't recommend here. My only complaint is that they seemed to cook the life out of my burger and they didn't ask me how I wanted it. Well saw this on the activity feed on yelp app as one of my friends had bookmarked it I looked and did two today me and Gary were on a job nearby there so on the way out it was time for lunch and I said let's give them a try I had the double meat spicy burger with french fries and a Coke both of which were very delicious I see this place has some varying reviews so hopefully they are consistent on their food because today it definitely was Gary has a regular non-spicy Philly which he said was very delicious as well. Also my daughter caught me through the Yelp app when I checked in and had me bring her some cheesy fries which she enjoyed it as well as my son. Definitely recommend them to friends and will be back. oh yeah and the total Milford to was only 18 bucks and some change. I'm not a big burger person but Tornado Burger knows how to make burgers. I got a number 2 (single patty cheeseburger with fries and a drink) with grilled onions (this was extra) & 1,000 island dressing (this is free but you gotta ask for it). My order was ready within 10 minutes (we had a big order) and I chowed down on my burger within seconds. It was pretty oily (from the meat and other condiments added to the burger) but so so good! The fries were okay- I've had better but it's your basic fries. And the whole thing was around $6 so a good deal for what you're getting. We have been going here for a few years now and the last time I went it was about 45 minutes to closing time. By the time we ordered and got our food brought out it was closer to closing time. We told them we wanted to it there and they stuck our food in to go containers and bagged it up. They basically made us leave because they were getting close to closing time. There were a couple of guys in there as well and they put there food in to go containers and they sat down to eat and someone from the restaurant asked them to pick up their food and take it with them. The girl (Hispanic with glasses) at the drive thru window has no customer service and a smart a**, Never greeted me at all, she just took my payment and gave me my food. My friend Justin and I had some awkward time in between and decided to try a local burger joint in the sugarland area. Known for their spicy patty (jalapeño, garlic) for the burger I recommend highly to get the double patty. The patty itself is incredibly favorable and addictive but the buns are much to be desired. It's soft and the bottom was already soggy by the time I unwrapped it. It has plenty of condiments on which I thoroughly enjoy. The other offsetting was he sautéed mushrooms I ordered on it was undercooked, but overall the burger was decent and I'll go back for the patty and affordable prices. Came here during their drive thru only phase. Unfortunately they didn't fill the entire order, they forget our onion strings. So okay no biggie, I let the girl know whiles she's still next to our car. I show her the receipt, she then goes inside. Then she comes Back out and says they're in the bag, which they aren't.
