Honest, professional and reliable!!!! I was having issues with a bad leak in our AC and the installer who did our ac was being difficult and unwilling to come out. I called Toro and they came out right away. They gave us an idea of what was wrong and instead of gouging us to the repair it they gave us sound advice to have the original company fix it. We ended up contacting our original installer and it ended up being resolved the following day. Wish we would have contacted Toro to begin with to do the job. Well A/C died Sunday. Went right to Yelp. Saw Hawley's A/C. He was'nt able to come till Tuesday. Not good for its Bakersfields Hot weather. Then saw Toro's A/C reviews. Everyone gave 5 stars. I read each review carefully. All sounded genuine. Really liked what was said about Jesse's skill set. His clear diagnostic explaination. Honesty. Work Ethic. Jesse's a great guy. I gave the man like 6 filtered glasses of iced zerowater. The condensor fan was locked. He spun it and A/C came on. Bearings not too good. He recommended replacement. Heck. A dishonest service man would have rip our family off for a $grand$, fan motor, plus, plus. Yelp reviews, all 5 stars, was spot on. Jesse then checked the forced heating unit and other elements of the A/C. Taught me lot about what to watch out for, maintiance etc. Stuff like feeling what pipes to know if I need $$$ expensive freon, etc. So not to be ever rip off. He had to spend hour time to pickup a compatable motor fan. He wanted a good Brand, long guarantee. Our A/C dates back to 1980's. 3.5 hours from start our A/C works like a charm. I talked to Jesse about his background. WOW. He worked at all levels of repair. Was repair manager of a huge, huge crew. Worked on some of the biggest corporate places and projects. Graduated from the top Tech School. Like 25 years experience. I would recommend Jesse for reliability, honesty, and high level skillset. Oh yes I googled for reviews of Jesse and Toro's A/C. 5 star reviews too. Forget about finding Jesse on White or Yellow pages. My early concern. Words of Mough keeps Toro's A/C very busy. He made a lot of promises that he never came through on and never fixed things he found wrong. Now he is ignoring all of my phone calls. Let me preface this by saying that my last two experiences with HVAC have been less than satisfactory. This year, I asked my wife to call around for a technician to replace an AC contactor, redo some wiring, and service our AC unit. She looked on YELP and found Toro. We got ahold of them on a Wednesday, and by Thursday morning everything was done. (This is in April so certainly not prime AC season yet, but also not the dead of winter) The technician was polite, helpful, to-the-point, and extremely affordable. He kept my wife apprised of what he was doing, gave her some tips and tricks (not lectures on how bad we are at taking care of AC as other companies have done), and then was on his way. I estimated the bill and have been researching HVAC for a year to make sure I don't get ripped off. For everything, it ended up being half what I estimated. If Toro ever reads this, let me assure them that their exceptional service did not go unnoticed and I will be telling everyone I know about them on top of calling them for my home or any other place I have HVAC needs. This review is a long time coming. We have found and used Toro Air since February 2015. Having a Property Managment division we have relied upon Jesse and Jose of Toro Air. These guys are remarkable! They show up presentable and dressed in their company uniforms, drive a company vehicle with clear markings of their logo, name, telephone number and license information. They have serviced air conditioning units, new and old, heating units in walls, floor or attic. Plus they invoice properly and give a written guarantee for all their work. We don't have to call them back to fix the same problem twice because they fix it right the first time. We used Yelp to find them and it worked! 2 other companies all found in Yelp came to bid on first time project and boy were the prices staggering. We were selling our house and the inspection revealed that the primary AC pan was dripping into the secondary pan. I called Jesse at Toro sir to check it out. He came and saw that I needed to replace either the coil assembly or the primary pan if he could get one. He checked and was able to get a new pan from the manufacturer. He and his team came and spent the day correcting my issue. The house builder had incorrectly installed the in attic unit and Jesse had to do a lot of extra work to get the old one out and the new one in. Should have taken about 6 hours, but wound up closer to 9 to 10 hours. He honored his original estimate, was extremely professional and polite. He cleaned up after and explained all that was done. Heads up folks, This company running and falsely advertising on an expired License since Nov 2015 and their Corporation been suspended since August 2016. I had them come check out A/C Unit for my client and after i agreed to the price but prior to signing an agreement i decided to look up their license status. I contacted them and spoke to Jesse (Jesus) and ask him, he said his manager supposed to renew it. Any way, They seems to be nice people i wish they had their stuff together. Keep in mind if you have non licensee replace your unit, manufacture warranty is not enforceable. Today was day 100000 of heat over 100° in bakersfield. I get home from work and my house is HOT!!! Being a single mom I start to panic. My best friend referred me to Toro Air. AC was blowing warm air, so I called two companies that said they weren't taking new appointments. Thought that was interesting. Anyway, I called Toro Air and spoke with Jesse, and he said it's $90 for a service call, which I thought was great. He showed up on time and got started. He knew right away what I suspected - the condenser wasn't turning on. He spent two hours rewiring rotted lines, replaced capacitor, measuring current draw, etc. Unfortunately, the 15-year old condenser was dead. He quoted me a great turnkey price on a new unit, which I accepted. Since their visit, I've recommended them to 8 different people. Highly recommend TORO Air conditioning. Im currently on the process of moving to a ranch home that has been vacant for a year so yes AC hasn't been maintain or turn on since then. I also had notice that when I would turn the AC unit wasn't cooling no more than 90 degrees after leaving it on for 3hrs. So I knew it needed to be check out. Even had one tell me I'd here back from a technician in "15-20 mins", when I didn't hear back in an hour I returned the call only to receive an answering service stating the business was now closed. Due to miscommunication, the techs never showed up at my house when they were scheduled to be there the day before between 4-6pm. I was called back that same evening at 9pm and was told they could send a tech out at 8am the next day and even waive the service fee. I waited for an hour and still nobody showed up. After calling them back, their receptionist apologized and said she was unable to reach the tech who had made an appointment with me the night before but she'd keep trying. I finally asked her not to send anyone out because I was tired of them wasting my time. I called another AC company who was able to get to my house in 30 minutes! read more

Amazing experience. 5pm AC started blowing hot air and realized the fan stopped working. Called the office on Monday 6/19, and was told the soonest they could come out would be Wednesday 6/21 between 12-5. I told Julie (receptionist) exactly what was wrong and the problem was in the attic. She said "no problem they will know what to do"...the guy (who has the worst attitude) shows up holding gauges in his hand and says "where's your condenser located at". I tell him they are on the side of the house but they are fine and asked if he was informed on the issues I was having with the AC. He says no and asks what is the problem. I tell him I have water coming out a pipe in the wall located over a bedroom window. He says to me "we're only taking emergency calls and this isn't an emergency. His attitude becomes increasingly worse and I say to him, I've had this diagnosed by a good friend who owns an AC company but he's out of town and told me to call someone to look at the coils and pan in the attic cause that's where the problem is. He tells me "Have your friend do the work and I'm not going up in the attic"...then says to me, "have a nice day and walks out"...I told him no problem and I suggested he change his attitude. So I call the office and express my frustration and I wanted to talk to the owner and she says, "I'll have to call you back...I will try can get someone out to you today". 2 1/2 hrs later I call back since I haven't heard a word and all I got was the answering machine... SO...I called Econo Air, they made an appointment for Friday 6/23 at 8:30 am...the service tech showed up at 8:20 and went up in the attic and found the problem. As suspected and TOLD to the moron from Toro Air, the pan was damaged and the water from the coil was leaking underneath it into the secondary pan. He cleaned out the pan and leveled it so it would drain better...he also took the dimensions of the old pan so his shop can make a new one and will install next week. Meanwhile, I'm now able to run my A/C during this heat wave. **Jesse Toro-President of Toro Air would not return my calls...you should realize you're not the only hot dog stand in town...and with techs who provide lousy customer service, it's amazing you're phone even rings. I read the reviews about people not getting a call back..... they are true. The hours listed are "24/7." I called on a Sunday at 8:02am and again at 11:14am. I left a voicemail each time with my name/number repeated twice as well as my reason for my call. It's now Friday of the same week and I have yet to receive a call back. Extremely pleased with the service provided. They were able to come out to our home within a couple of hours on a 106 degree day. The price we paid to have our A/C fixed was the same amount we would have paid our home warranty and we didn't have to wait the 48hrs AHS was going to take to send a tech out.
