My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. I'm definitely bringing my husband here the next time we visit my sister.

    Omakase sushi/sashimi for two

Was contacted by the new owners and asked to give them another try and we were happy we did. Asked to get the omakase and was pleasantly surprised by the innovation, portions and price. We had seven courses of artfully prepared sushi dishes and enjoyed each one of them greatly. The quality of the fish also seems to have improved as the uni was rich, creamy California roe and they had plenty of toro and other rare cuts of fish that were not normally here. We'll certainly be back and continue to get the omakase as long as it is as fantastic as this return experience.

Great. Food is delicious and lunch specials are generous and reasonable. The special rolls are amazing. I had the sashimi lunch and found it fresh, and nicely presented, although the pieces are somewhat on the small side.

    Tuna Dumpling
    Amelia C.

Unique specialty rolls - particularly liked the Spicy Yellowtail and Raymond. Thought the fish was fresh and the Raymond was flash-fried to perfection. I thought the tuna dumpling didn't live up to its hype - wish it had more tuna! Service could have been more polished and better-timed. Plates were not provided until we requested it, and the servers didn't seem fully trained (checking in, setting the table in advance). Toro has ample parking on site which makes it nice and easy to pick up or dine in.

Horrible horrible horrible. I strongly recommend running away and ordering elsewhere. They are crooks. This restaurant gave me the wrong order. I ordered a lobster roll and they gave me a California roll and on top of that they refused to make my order and charged me for lobster. It's clear from this photo that I do not have a lobster roll instead they placed crab stick inside. The service was appalling- I called to claim and offered to go pick up the correct order and bring mine back. Instead they yelled at me and told me the Uber driver swapped out my sushi.

Wow, what a positive experience here. I stopped in for sushi dinner for my daughters birthday and we were pleasantly welcomed by friendly staff. Everyone including the excellent sushi chefs were very professional and courteous. We had a good time and an great experience and they even had fresh Toro which was excellent. I cannot day enough about the freshness of the fish or the way it was prepared. Thank you Toro Sushi, we will return!

What more could you ask for? Come and visit Toro sushi. The BEST Sushi! Try it to believe. Always Fresh. Yummy to my tummy.

After initial nervousness and cautious optimism it turns out that Toro under new ownership (Toro II with new owner Vicky) is executing the previous and very successful menu. I might even suggest that the food has improved. I can certainly attest to the fact that they are experimenting with new items and slight tweaks and and improvements on some of the existing favorites. Some of tonight's highlights include the tuna dumpling. It's was very flavorful (not fishy) with nice sized chunks of avocado and crispy tempura flake. Tuna tataki is very fresh and savory. Lightly seared with a ponzu sauce, it's a nice treat. The tuna kituna was a new adventure. It was a very refreshing combination of roll with crab stick, tuna and avocado rolled in a cucumber wrap instead of seaweed and rice. It was served in a "spicy" sauce which wasn't altogether terribly spicy.

Sushi for two platter ... Worth the $50 and super fresh

WORTH ALLLL THE HYPE!! Speaking of hype, the vibes were good and the type of atmosphere that anyone would feel welcomed in. I saw dates going on and enjoying the tasting menu which is the perfect way to bond, groups of guy friends, families and then us, girls night out to catch up with my best friend. By the way- service was great, too. Friendly, fun & personable from everyone we encountered. Back to the food: *Calamari, super yum! *Caesar Salad, very yum!! Not your ordinary *Pescatarian Bestie ordered the Shrimp Scampi and enjoyed it! I ordered the Wagyu Short Rib Ramen and wowza, it's everything I hoped it would be and more. A generous portion of tented beef, I almost wish the ratio of ramen was higher though but seriously no complaints! I will be back, STAT!! Don't forget to bring your own vino cause it's BYOB

We really didn't care about that as we were enjoying our wine and each other. Matthew alone 5 stars! This was our first time eating at pastaRAMEN and we had heard a lot of mixed reviews. The pictures on-line make it look like a fancy place so we did dress up. When we arrived we quickly realized it's not what they advertise and what's in the pictures as it's actually a small run down dive spot. The biggest attraction must be its BYOB as the line was out the door with people holding 2-3 bottles of wine and beer. We were really hopping for the food to be great! Unfortunately we were disappointed causing the 2 star review on food alone. The quality and freshness was poor and everything was soaked in multiple sauces. We had the Cucumber salad that should have been called the pickle salad as there were more pickles than cucumbers. Also the calamari which is hard to mess up but they somehow did with 3 different sweet sauces on it. Next we had the Ramen which they are known for and it had Fried Chicken in it??? It was frozen store bought chickens they warmed up. The last thing we ordered was the black cod, this could have caused us to get food poisoning!! One bit each and we both had to take a sip of wine quickly to get the taste out of our mouths. We couldn't even take a second bit. They did give us free dessert because everything took so long which was very nice but that was our great server Matthew. Dessert was good! Another side note the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting with pee on the floors and all over the toilet in both bathrooms. We did have a good night because we brought a very nice bottle of wine. Too bad they didn't give you real wine glasses. It was more of a plastic cup. I don't see us ever going back.

My husband and I really wanted some restorative, Japanese comfort food. However, we were unable to go there in person because he was sick, so I ordered delivery from them for the first time (via Uber Eats). The food held up well in transit and was just as good as if we were dining in. I went with a Karaage Rice Bowl with a Ajitama (6 minute egg) as an added extra. My husband went with a Vegan Ramen bowl. While we were supposed to share the Crispy Tofu Buns, my husband couldn't stop after one. Hey, I can't really blame him though, they are delicious. I don't live very close so I thought I'd order a few things on the menu to try a variety. Was glad I did. Started with the cucumber salad. Light. Refreshing and even has a little kick. I couldn't stop eating it! Ordered the braised pork belly Bao. Comes in orders of 2. Sooooooo flavorful and so worth it! Ordered the Short Rib Ramen and their Special Spicy Tonkotsu ramen. Of all, I can recommend their pork sisig, crispy pata, and fresh lumpia, everything else was bland and lacked the usual ingredients. The tortang talong was mainly scrambled egg could barely taste the eggplant. The palabok only has a few shrimps and veggies, halo-halo is not something you would want from here. By the way, I just wish they would focus on cuisine that should emphasize their own, I believe they represent Filipino food. And I need to mention that their price is on the higher end, I find some to be even more expensive than the Max's restaurant not too far from them, which never disappoint by the way. Service- well, we went on a non-busy time, only one table was occupied actually. Nobody from the staff welcomed us, we had to look for someone working there, one lady who was just sitting asked how many we are without standing her butt off from where she's at and told us to just pick any table we want. Seems not a pleasant lady but there was actually a group that she welcomed when we were about to leave, so I guess they're only nice to people they see often, are we coming back? They made us feel not welcome here! Ambiance-not bad, it's okay.
