First time trying out this place. My boyfriend and I walked right past it this morning and saw the amount of people there was. We both said "damn, this place must be really good...we have to check it out later!" So we did. He ordered the fajitas mix and I order their taco de asada and sope de asada. My sopes were SOAKED in oil! my boyfriends fajitas were also swimming in oil and his fajitas had no taste. Also, my tacos were cold. The meat was cold. The fried fish tacos were as good as everyone seems to advertise on Yelp. It was decent. The coffee fraps however were delicious. And the customer met service here was absolutely excellent. He knows the meaning behind fresh ingredients, a cozy atmosphere, affordable prices, decent selection, and TASTE! My friend and I had lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The customer stream was steady, but it wasn't packed either. Many choose to select their food to-go, but it's a nice place to just eat in at, as well. We had many selections to try. They included goat and beef tacos, shrimp/fish ceviche taco, a shrimp and cheese style taco, a cubana sandwich, and fruit salad with cream. I could list their Mexican names as well, but I'm sure the menu is in the photo section here. I'm actually looking forward to dinner, because I know these leftovers won't disappoint. I was going to the Santa Ana location and found out about this small chain of restaurants (I believe this is their 3rd location) through IG. Omg. That is all I can say. They have some of the BEST food I have tried in a while. I always order their "Fajitas Mixtas" (mixed fajitas with chicken, beef, and shrimp) and it never disappoints! Where else are you going to get that much food, it includes a quesadilla on top AND rice and beans for under $15? Also the tortillas are complimentary depending on what plate you order. They're also famous for their birria tacos. You guys have to try this for yourself! I ordered 2 birria tacos to go and a pepino raspado. The size of the tacos were big which was good, but something about the meat tasted funky. I could not even get myself to finish one, saddest thing. I was very unsatisfied with my raspado as well. The cucumbers/pepinos it came with tasted as if they had gone bad. Went here around lunch time and it wasn't crazy busy. I order the Chile Verde Plate and holy cow the green chile was super spicy. It was hard for me to enjoy it but the rice and beans that came with it was delicious. I also got a Pineapple drink (Agua fresca) and it wasn't too sweet or to citrusy, it literally was the right amount. I will be back again but won't be ordering the Chile Verde again. read more

One of my tests for a good Mexican food restaurant is to see how good their fish tacos are. This place might be my new #1 because their fish tacos are outstanding. The lunch combo plate is only $8 with 2 tacos and they are very filling and delicious. Also the rice and beans have so much flavor I could just eat those as a meal on their own. All I can say it this place was AMAZING! Their tacos con consome we absolutely the best tacos I've had! It was my boyfriend and I first time going with his family and the food was delicious! We're from out of town so we don't know restaurants in the area and his family chose this place! Their plates are big portions and worth it! Their prices are reasonable. To finish dinner off, for dessert I ordered the Fresca con Crema and that was so delicious! Strawberries were fresh just by taking a bite. Definitely recommend going to place. The owner is so nice. One day my two boys and I were walking to our car we went to Michoacana next door, this homeless guy was kind of creepy. I love everyone (including homeless) , but he seemed kind of shady. The owner from this restaurant saw how shady he seemed, without me asking or anything he kindly walked my boys and I to the car. Just tried on a whim. I have tried gobernador tacos at a spot in Fullerton(Palapas tacos), it was waaaaaay better. Lots of good quality shrimp and the grilled onions and bell peppers were delicious. Good salsas also. I'm a huge salsa snob and they have a tasty selection...lobe the yellow. Had birria tacos (not too fatty), they were good, maybe not amazing. Husband who is picky about his carne asada burritos with new places really liked his burrito. Only complaint is we ordered twice with DoorDash and maybe I'm an idiot but when ordering a taco the description says "2 corn tortillas with.....blah blah blah. We thought we were ordering 2 tacos for $3. But it just means 2 tortillas for 1 taco. Probably our mistake but wish it said more clearly it's 1 taco. Very minor issue. Overall, definitely a go to spot for cheap and fast quality Mexican. read more

We came in for Fish Tacos. The tacos include fried fish, cabbage, cheese, pico de Gallo, and some yummy sauce. The tacos were on point. The chips and salsa were also good. The service was great. The girls are pleasant and attentive, making sure you are being take care. Looks like they like their job. After the tacos we ordered a Fresas con Crema. It was pretty good. My husband and I decided to check this place out since we're new to the neighborhood. His torta was tasty, but my esquite was a total let down. Im pretty sure they use canned (or frozen) corn, a sprinkle of cheese and what looks like watered down sour cream. I couldn't eat more than a couple of bites. I was excited to see that a new one opened up by my job. I went today and purchased one sope. I paid, got to work, and opened up the container to find a pile of slop inside. They put a layer of beans then the 'sope' then another layer of beans with carnitas (mostly either dry or nothing but fat) on it. Bad experience. awful customer service. Was in line ordering but was confused about the price of a plate. The owner (i believe) overheard and said that I was the one wrong about the price. Instead of helping me out, he and the cashier went ahead to take the order of the person behind me, ignoring me. While I'm standing there they place the other customers order in my face and still asking me if I want to order while I'm still standing there. Their Bionicos are da bomb!! Came here to eat a light snack and I'm soooo glad I did!! It hit the taste buds on the spot!! Their fruit-packed little entree was fully flavored and everything from the many different fruits, to the toppings, to the condensed/coconut milk that they had all mixed together made this treat super sweet. First bite was unbelievable!! Packed with different bursts of flavors in every bite. I even ate some watermelons cause they were mixed in the milk, which I don't even eat watermelons, but the sweetness made it an exception, so kudos for trying something new and liking it. Inside && outside the store was well decorated with cute paintings on the wall. Something cute && entertaining to look at for all ages. Menu was fully blasted with color and really eye catching with all their pictures of their yummy menu items.
