Everything here was spectacular!! Perfect service, perfect food, perfect dessert, and super cute decor. I saw one singular review that they had halal options (it also said that they do have the cerificate) so I called to double check and they said they have halal beef and chicken options! I've attached pictures of what we got and the certificate. I got 4 tacos, one of each of the halal options: pollo, asada, milensa, and birria. I loved it so much! My friends got the torta charra and the chilaquiles rancheros. They both said they really enjoyed their meals too! They also got the horchata drink, I tried a little and it was very tasty! The owner let us know that their drinks are typically sugar free, and that they use cane juice instead!! We also tried their flan and churro cheesecake. Both desserts were phenomenal as well! Definitely would recommend if you're in the area, especially if you have any sort of dietary restrictions. The overall vibe is pretty cool, and the horchata was really good, not too sweet. The nachos could use more meat, and as I mentioned earlier, the torta isn't anything special. The customer service is good, but they tend to want to take your plates away quickly, probably because they don't have much space. If they're busy, they ask to clear your plates early, which is understandable. read more

I just recently found this spot in my neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did! The food is incredible, and Jaime (the owner) makes the experience even better. He's super friendly, always checks in on us, and shares great stories about his journey--once you try his food, you'll want to hear everything he has to say. My favorite dish so far is the chilaquiles plate. The quality is top-notch, and it's actually healthy--the chips are baked instead of fried. The Spanish rice was perfectly cooked (no hard pieces like you get at other places), and the beans were Peruvian instead of pinto. Bonus: both the rice and beans are vegan and gluten-free, so you leave feeling great after eating here. I came back the very next day for the menudo (available Fri-Sun), and it was amazing too. It's made with calf meat, which gives it a higher-quality taste you don't find everywhere. This place is definitely a new go-to for me--I'll be back soon to try more! read more

What a nice little hole in the wall place this was! First of all, the ambience and the plating that they use is the definition of rustic. Love all the custom decor they have in here, especially the chairs. We were greeted warmly by whom I assume is the owner multiple times, alongside with the nice lady who was cooking up a feast for us. I ordered the birria en consome and it was delicious. It wasn't greasy like other places and wasn't too heavy so I was actually able to eat it all in one sitting. It was super hearty and homey.
