Lovely little place with earthenware traditional plates and a small menu. Food is great. Halal meat and (though not for me) vegan options for you people. I like the small menu because everything was fresh. Not frozen and ready to cook. Talking to the owner it turns out he is a butcher. Only had his daughter there helping him. Need any more stamps of authenticity? Loved it and will be coming back for more

I just recently found this spot in my neighborhood, and I'm so glad I did! The food is incredible, and Jaime (the owner) makes the experience even better. He's super friendly, always checks in on us, and shares great stories about his journey--once you try his food, you'll want to hear everything he has to say. My favorite dish so far is the chilaquiles plate. The quality is top-notch, and it's actually healthy--the chips are baked instead of fried. The Spanish rice was perfectly cooked (no hard pieces like you get at other places), and the beans were Peruvian instead of pinto. Bonus: both the rice and beans are vegan and gluten-free, so you leave feeling great after eating here. I came back the very next day for the menudo (available Fri-Sun), and it was amazing too. It's made with calf meat, which gives it a higher-quality taste you don't find everywhere. This place is definitely a new go-to for me--I'll be back soon to try more!

The food was really good and flavors on point. The service was fast and friendly. We didn't have to wait much for three plates of chilaquiles. The ambiance was really homey and welcoming. It was my first time trying this Gem. It was recommend by my sister and I'm sure glad we stopped it. I'll definitely be back. So good and much needed!! I'm always disappointed by the lack of authenticity in some Mexican restaurants but this place was a 10 out of 10. From the café de olla, to the Chilaquiles prepped queso panela; this place was everything! My husband took a bite of his birria torta was he immediately knew it was gonna be good. When you walk inside, you're greeted by beautiful decorations that are not overwhelming or the overplayed trendy style, but definitely have a lot of heart and thought put into it The service was super friendly, and we got our food really quick. I will definitely be back.

This place is a hidden gem, the staff here is amazing. They're super friendly. They are attentive. I seen how they talk to each customer the same very friendly. The food is really delicious super authentic. I also had a hibiscus a.k.a.. jamaica drink (agua) very authentic they make everything fresh here I feel like the birria could be more juicy and they can probably add more meat, nevertheless it was good

What a nice little hole in the wall place this was! First of all, the ambience and the plating that they use is the definition of rustic. Love all the custom decor they have in here, especially the chairs. We were greeted warmly by whom I assume is the owner multiple times, alongside with the nice lady who was cooking up a feast for us. I ordered the birria en consome and it was delicious. It wasn't greasy like other places and wasn't too heavy so I was actually able to eat it all in one sitting. It was super hearty and homey. You can tell they pay attention to details here when it comes to the food. I'd definitely come back and check out some other items on the menu in the future.

Was in the area and saw there was only 3 reviews for this location but decided to try it out. The food was amazing. We had chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, and an al pastor torta. Everything was great, the salsa was so fresh it was warm. The torta came on a buttered telera bread with beans and the meat of your choice and I have never tasted a better torta in my life. I seriously know this place is going to grow rapidly. The staff mentioned they opened a month ago. We also had the strawberry agua fresca. The only issue people may find as they get busier or on a weekend is the small parking area or the fact that they only accept cash. But don't worry they have an ATM inside. read more

Riquísimo! 10/10. My husband had the torta de rib eye presidente style, my boys each had the torta charra de asada, and I had the huevos rancheros. Not only are the portions good but the taste is just amazing. Definitely recommend it and will be coming back. It's a must. read more

Pastries were no where to be seen when we went that morning, so I wasn't able to try anything else. I still have a few more coffee spots to try, in the area, and I doubt I'd come back here.

Over the years, she has consistently provided exceptional service and has become much more than just a server. Every visit feels like I'm being welcomed by a friend. I've shared many visits to the Mission Inn with family and friends and everyone who has met Maria has been impressed by her warmth, kindness and genuine care for her guests. She has a remarkable ability to make people feel remembered and appreciated. In fact, after one family vacation, my daughter brought back souvenirs specifically for Maria because she had made such a lasting impression. Great restaurants can offer great food and beautiful surroundings, but people like Maria are what make a place truly special. It comes with grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, all on a toasted sourdough bread covered with pesto and cheese. For the side I typically get the Italian pasta salad, which is always delicious. One thing about this sandwhich is that the chicken will never cover the entire bread and it will never be distributed evenly. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

Even the tortilla chips were delicious and clearly made with care. The service was amazing from start to finish. Our food came out quickly, and the staff checked on our table regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. You can really tell they care about their customers. The Café de Olla was absolutely fantastic -- easily one of the best I've had. We ordered the chilaquiles, which came with rice and beans, and every bite was delicious. To top it all off, I ordered a milkshake afterward and it was truly the cherry on top of an already perfect meal. wow! what a lil diamond this place is. if you love Mexican food and are tired of the same old bland greasy norm we all used to try this place! back to back two days in a row I've been here, quality of meat and the service is out of this world. i drove 30 minutes on Friday and again on Saturday because I needed more. as a person in the culinary industry I really appreciate what this man and his family are doing. spot on excellent food, clean and awesome. I can't say enough. reminded me of my tio "the one who really knew how to cook".
