    Milanesa Tortas

A milanesa torta and jugo verde did the trick for a quick but delicious lunch. The mangoneada and bean and cheese mollete were also hits. The torta bread is legit and the fixings are decently given.

I pass by this joint frequently the advertisement and photos outside of the window make the food look so delicious but the actual presentation isn't so well I ordered a tuna sandwich and honestly it had a smear of tuna and mostly packed with lettuce what a disappointment my husband didn't care to much for it

This is my favorite spot for tortas! My favorite is the milanesa torta which is perfect, the meant has great flavor and is not soaked in grease like other places the lettuce, tomatoes, and jalapeños are fresh the bolillo is not dry or hard. Highly recommend it..... By the way they have a frequent customer cards which they stamp every time you buy a torta and once you get to the 7th stamp you get a Free one.

After shopping at everything a deal I thought it would be nice to get a drink with my daughter and my friend. Their chamango was not the best I had. It tasted watered down. The watermelon smoothie was more like a slush. It was just watermelon , ice and sugar blended. After drinking it half way, all that was left was pink ice. Although they gave good portions, it was not satisfying. Their prices are WAYY to expensive for the quality. I would rather go to neveria tocumbo for their mangoneadas and chamangos. The worker was really friendly. Customer service earned them an extra star.

Tortas are ok. Not my favorite.. Could add a little more veggies and meat I'd say? The bread is decent. The smoothies are def a good choice! All real fruit so that's a plus! I was kind of sad when I saw flys on the fruits that were cut up ):

Awesome Chamangos. The best I've tried.

Authentic Mexican Sandwiches. It is definitely the Best Fruit Deli in town!!! . I had a Lomo Special Torta with a CHAMANGO. The Torta was filled with sliced avocado, and fresh veggies. Besides, to top it off, their hot sauce is delicious. I strongly recommend this lunch spot to everyone. Friendly service, nice environment, and good food.

Ya feel me? If you don't, you will. And don't forget to peep out all of the accoutrements at the salsa bar-4 different salsas, pickled red onions, limes, radishes, and hot carrots, all gratis my amigo. Say whaaaaaat!? Yes, they kindly ask that you don't go overboard and request you take only 2 salsas per item, but just don't be greedy and you should be fine. The salsa bar was super clean and the salsas were delicious. I've also had carne asada fries here (always ask for extra crispy) and they're delicious as well. If you're not asking for your carne asada fries to be extra crispy at any taco shop, you're just doing it wrong. Enjoy my friends! Thanks to La Lomita and crew for coming through again. You guys really shine.

The adobada here is insanely tasty, I always get the adobada tacos and I never skip adobada fries when i'm with friends. This place has never failed me with their consistency and great service. You now have to pay first, then wait for your food to be made. I actually preferred the old setup where you could walk to the different stations, pick your tacos, watch them prepare everything fresh, get it packed up, and then pay at the end. It felt like part of the experience. We also have to talk about the pricing. I remember when these tacos were around $1.25 each. Now they're over $4 for a mini street taco. I understand this is California and the cost of goods has increased, but that is a drastic jump. That said, I don't want to take away from the food because the tacos are still excellent. I ordered two buche tacos and a quesadilla, and both were 10 out of 10. They don't miss when it comes to seasoning and flavor. The service is still quick as well. My only real complaint is the price. It feels overpriced for what you're getting, and honestly, it may explain why there weren't many people there when we visited. There were only a handful of customers inside. The food is still worth trying, but be prepared for some serious sticker shock.

Hubby and his buddies would come a few times during the week and I finally caved in. Man oh man!! I've been getting the same thing so far. Surf & turf taco, shrimp ceviche tostada, and an order of fries. Beverage changes depending what I'm in the mood for. So! The surf and turf taco! The carne asada is juicy, flavorful, and the meat is tender with every bite! The grilled shrimp seems like it has the same seasoning from the meat! And I'm fine with that! At least there's nothing bland and boring here! Comes with sautéed white onions and bell peppers on to of two corn tortillas with white shredded melted cheese. The shrimp ceviche is an equally chopped of portion of marinated vegetables- onion/ tomato/ cucumber and shrimp. And I don't feel like I get gyped if there's less protein- because here- NOT THE CASE! The shrimps you get here are huge! Whoa! There's table side hot sauces in the bottle. And your server brings out a condiment caddy of fresh salsas (verde or red spicy/ habanero );ketchup; chipotle mayo; and mayonesa. If it's not a cold bottle of Modelo Especial, then most likely it's a Michelada or a mango drink. The last two choices of beverage preference are served in this huge cup- I swear it's a 24oz (maybe 32 oz?)... The service is always swift. My dad ordered the Siete Mares, and let me tell you, he has NOT stopped raving about it since we left! They also have a good beer selection, and the service was attentive and friendly. This is the kind of place you go to for authentic, flavorful Mexican seafood, not fancy décor or a trendy atmosphere. Just really good food, good portions, and that no-frills, local feel.
