I have tried this place multiple times. Always clean and service is friendly. The agua fresca options are great and always quenching. As far as the tortas, they have their own style to them that distinguishes them from your typical torta, bread grilled, the fresh cheese options and avaocado, decent portion too. The only thing is that nothing really stands out as far as the protein options. Yes they are good but nothing I would not be able to live without. That being said, I would still recommend this place and would be willing to give them another try just to see if I find something that wows me. read more

I am a good customer to this location. Since I moved away from here 2 yrs ago so has the taste. They only had 3 containers of there fresh aguas left. I ordered the pollo especial and told them to give me a side of chipotle sauce. Idk where the communication got lost, but they drenched each filet with chipotle and over salted the chicken that made it so unsatisfying. 1 Star is too much. I ordered 7 Tortas through GrubHub. They only had 5 & said they didn't have the meat for the other 2 I ordered so they only made those 5. I told her I needed to order 2 more & she said "We have a lot of orders so the wait would be 40 min to an hour." When I asked "Can you make me 2 tortas now instead of assuming I only have 5 people to feed, when I have 7 people to feed?" She said no, I'd have to wait. I left my phone # & that's for them to contact me if there's any problems. I literally had to go somewhere else to order food for the other 2 people. Horrible, rude customer service, plus the tortas were burnt & soggy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Don't waste your money or your time! Update: They called me from Torta Sinaloa & apologized for what happened the day before. Offered a credit & really showed concern for the way the 2 employees handled the situation the day I ordered. They mess up my order again. I call and ask for a torta and I said I wanted a carnitas with no beans, avocado, or onions I ask her to make sure it had none of that because I'm allergic to beans. I go and pick up my order and what do they give me?. A bean torta with everything I told them I didn't want. How hard is it to look at an order and make it for your costumers. This review is for take out only. We use to get tortas tacos, burritos and horchata around once a month. I have been there 3 times this year, they just can't seem to get my order right. We like the #30 asada with beans, no onions and the pork leg sandwich with everything. Yesterday I ordered two #30 with beans and no onions and two soft tacos with everything. I took the food home and the tacos were delicious! The tortas not so much, the meat was very dry, the bread soggy and NO beans in the torta. This also happened last time. I live too far to go back and since I am not fluent in Spanish it doesn't seem worth the effort to call and complain. Lesson learned if I get food from them again I will open my tortas at the counter to double check them. read more

I once got my enchiladas full of oil and sent them back and I saw her face, when the waiter explain. The expression was very rude. When she works My food is always extra oily and full of grease. I expressed that to go easy on the butter for the Teleras, and I know Dulce has a tendency of making the Food very greasy. I ordered the Fontana Torta and i must say this it was delicious and very filling. From what i remember it had carne asada, avocado, tomato, lettuce and onion and pressed together in bread that was panini pressed. For someone who's not a big fan of tortas this was pretty good. The melon juice was good as always and very refreshing for those hot summer days. So why did i take off one star? Service was kinda slow when i went. I'm a people watcher so this place was entertaining at the very least. I read reviews about the tight pants and the strange murals... it was all true. The place is very open and good for large crowds. It was empty when I went, a Friday night. There were workers sitting around grab-assing and all kinds of funny things were happening which could easily be missed if you weren't paying attention. Like an angry customer who sent his torta back because it wasn't what he expected. Like the waitresses sancho coming in and handing her a cell phone and charger as she is taking someone's order, like the cooks in the back that were chopping lettuce and being told to cut it a different way. The murals on the walls were great. The food, I was told before I got there not to expect anything great. I ordered the chicken torta and my friend ordered the asada tortita. My friend ordered jamaica and i wanted to try horchata. The drinks came first, and my goodness! that was the largest glass of horchata I have ever had! the mug was literally larger than my head and that is pretty large! the flavor of the horchata was good. If I happen to stop by again I will try the pina or sandia. The torta was thin, nothing special just like I was warned. The salsas on the table tasted ok, almost had a beer flavor which I thought was odd. I'm not sure I would say this is the place to go if you're craving a torta but I would definitely say to come here if you like to drink a lot of aguas frescas and people watch. read more

Pros: Horchatas are the BEST i every had! I get the milanesa torta with cheese and use the green Chile. No onions and everything is perfect!! Cons: bathrooms are pretty dirty and service can be ok. I am honestly not one to write reviews because i work in retail and I know sometimes customer service is hard to do while you're stressed but I am NEVERRRR coming back to this place. We had placed an order and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes so we got there on time and when it came to paying they only had one register open, this party of like 15 people were all trying to figure out how to pay and there was 2 girls helping them. we understood they were stressed but when we asked if we could leave the cash and they keep the change they said no that we had to wait our turn. We ended up waiting 30-40 minutes and when we asked if we could check if the order was still warm or if they could make it one more time the lady said we could either leave it or take it. and that SHE did us a favor because they "never" place orders over the phone however it's been YEARS of them doing so.
