They charge full prices for incomplete meals and a 4% fee for credit card. Not worth the price and the food was poorly prepared with nothing but jalapeños and 2 slices on tiny avocado for $11 should at least come with fries

This is a good place to come for authentic Mexican food. I had 4 tacos with avacado- 2 chicken, 1 beef steak, and 1 barbacoa. I liked the beef steak the most. It was cooked well. The chicken didn't taste as flavorful as I'd like it to be, but the barbacoa also tasted good. I usually feel full after eating 4 street style tacos, but I still felt hungry for more, so I got the maiz beef steak quesadilla, which is fried and was fairly tasty. Parking there was a bit of a mess, but overall I recommend. It wasn't my favorite taco joint to visit, but it's your standard atmosphere and taste.

The beef fajita tacos are delicious and not greasy. The salsa is really good. The service is fast. We will def be back!

Two tiny pieces of chicken they charged extra for the credit card there's hardly any rice and the lady wasn't very friendly would not go to that Mexican place ever again.

Cuidado con los precios están incorrectos, las tortas no cuestan $7.99 sino $14.75, solo te dicen que ya lo habían reportado antes pero que la dueña no lo ha cambiado Ve careful way overprice, they charge you different than the prices published

Looks are not deceiving in this case. The modest appearance on the outside is an accurate reflection of the quality inside. The table we sat at was sticky. We moved to another table, and no one wiped it down even after we told a server. They offer sweet tea, but it tastes like a powdered, lemonade-flavored tea mix like Lipton and not at all like fresh-brewed black tea. The food was mediocre at best. The beef fajitas were very well seasoned and the marinade was on point, but the meat was tough and hard to chew. And they were certainly not authentic fajitas, seeing as they were made with jalapeno instead of traditional bell pepper. The flautas were dry, and the tortillas and refried beans did not taste homemade. The tortillas tasted like store-bought Mission tortillas and the beans were watery as if from a can. To make matters worse, the food is super overpriced. My plate of fajitas and ensalada was $13. I don't know what the owners are smoking that they think the food here is worth so much. But if anyone finds out, let me know where I can get some.

Spontaneously came here looking for Mexican food. We got the Enchiladas rojo w/ chicken (flavorless, dry) and the Bistec Asada (a little tough but flavorful, and not salty), flour tortillas. Overall we think it was nothing special and overpriced.

Not too bad, not too good. Pricey tho. 12 dollars for a torta and you be the judge based on the picture.

Lol But I also want to support this small restaurant and brag about literally how delicious everything is. From the empanadas that are cheesy and meaty you could eat as a meal alone, to all the flavors of each sauce they offer is exceptional. The poblano sauce is so good, I'd like to get a job in the kitchen for the recipe. We also asked for a side of the mole sauce just to try, it was smoky, sweet, and the right amount of spices. The tacos remind me of the tacos I get in Mexico with the grilled pineapple and picked onions. The salsa offered with the chips is warm and I love that. Will definitely be a go to restaurant for me. I forgot to snap a picture but I'll list some things I tried: Empanadas- 10/10- a must order. Flavor, texture, and taste are all amazing. Molé enchiladas- the molé is so good- especially for Dallas since most places are Tex Mex and molé is more Mexican. Definitely order if this is in your "taste profile." Lunch specials- I don't even know if this is on their website but they have a great lunch menu and they have a lunch combo special where you can pick two items for $10.50 and it comes with rice and beans. I ordered the cheese enchilada and the mini chimichanga. Full disclosure I didn't eat the mini chimichanga because I didn't know it was covered in queso and I hate queso (unpopular opinion- I know). I loved the enchilada though and it had chili con carne sauce which was delicious. Rice and beans were also very good. Next time I'll just say no queso on the chimi. The restaurant is really tiny but cozy and you can tell it is family owned. Definitely will be a regular spot for me and will be back.

My new favorite Tex Mex restaurant. Love the fajitas…read more It was my wife's and my first time here. Kayla gave us fantastic service. Ample seating with festive birthday. The manager also came and gave us free beef fajita samples since he found out it was our first time. The flavor and juiciness of the beef blew me away. My wife and I got queso to compliment the complimentary tortilla chips and salsa and bean dips. I was a big fan of the beans too, didn't think I would be. We ended up getting a trio (beef, chicken, shrimp) fajita 1/2 pound and it was perfect for the 2 of us. You can taste the grilled and charred flavor on the meats. The chicken and shrimp were slightly on the drier side but when combined with the sour cream, beans, guac, cheese, they were perfection. For the two people, the limitation ended up being more the toppings to the fajitas but it was just enough. At about $25 for 2, that was a steal. The queso was about $9. Right before we were about to leave, Kayla recommended the tres leches dessert and you know we had to try it. It was solid. Loved the cream on top. Definitely would come back again!

On our way back from Asia, my husband and I had a stop through the DFW area and immediately decided…read morethat we needed to take advantage of being back near a region that really knows Mexican food. Living in Sioux Falls has many positives, but distinct and deeply flavorful Mexican cuisine is unfortunately still something that's a little harder to come by compared to places like Arizona or Texas. So, we made it a point to stop at Lupe Tortilla while passing through Irving. The first thing we noticed was how packed the restaurant was during lunch. People were pouring in steadily, and the atmosphere had that energetic local favorite feeling where you know people come because they genuinely enjoy the food. Thankfully, the meal itself delivered. Now, was it the absolute best Mexican food I've ever had? No. But it was still leagues beyond most of what we've experienced lately back home in South Dakota. The carne asada especially stood out. The portion was massive, tender, and packed with smoky, savory flavor. You could immediately tell it had actually spent some time on a grill instead of simply being rushed out of a kitchen. We also enjoyed the tacos, enchiladas, and burritos, all of which had that comforting Tex-Mex richness and seasoning that we've really missed. Unfortunately, we were on a fairly tight travel schedule and couldn't linger the way we would have liked. Honestly, this felt like the sort of place where you could easily sit awhile longer, enjoy another drink, sample more dishes, and just soak in the lively atmosphere. Still, even as a quick stop, it was a great experience and a delicious reminder of how much we miss the bold Mexican food culture of the Southwest.

They offered complimentary chips and salsa along with beans. They were not seasoned black beans, so I had to add salsa to make them worth eating. The pozole was flavorful, and the broth was seasoned to perfection. It had plenty of hominy but was lacking in shredded beef. It's unique, rich, and unlike anything I've had at another restaurant. Honestly, they could bottle it and sell it. Every dish here is a win. The shrimp cocktail is a standout--it's so generous in portion that it could easily be a full meal by itself. Fresh, zesty, and packed with flavor. I've tried several different plates over time, and it's the kind of place where you can order confidently knowing it'll be good. From the classics to their house specialties, everything comes out hot, fresh, and seasoned just right. On top of the food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always on point.
