This is a good place to come for authentic Mexican food. I had 4 tacos with avacado- 2 chicken, 1 beef steak, and 1 barbacoa. I liked the beef steak the most. It was cooked well. The chicken didn't taste as flavorful as I'd like it to be, but the barbacoa also tasted good. I usually feel full after eating 4 street style tacos, but I still felt hungry for more, so I got the maiz beef steak quesadilla, which is fried and was fairly tasty. Parking there was a bit of a mess, but overall I recommend. It wasn't my favorite taco joint to visit, but it's your standard atmosphere and taste. read more

Looks are not deceiving in this case. The modest appearance on the outside is an accurate reflection of the quality inside. The table we sat at was sticky. We moved to another table, and no one wiped it down even after we told a server. They offer sweet tea, but it tastes like a powdered, lemonade-flavored tea mix like Lipton and not at all like fresh-brewed black tea. The food was mediocre at best. The beef fajitas were very well seasoned and the marinade was on point, but the meat was tough and hard to chew. And they were certainly not authentic fajitas, seeing as they were made with jalapeno instead of traditional bell pepper. The flautas were dry, and the tortillas and refried beans did not taste homemade. The tortillas tasted like store-bought Mission tortillas and the beans were watery as if from a can. To make matters worse, the food is super overpriced. My plate of fajitas and ensalada was $13. I don't know what the owners are smoking that they think the food here is worth so much. First of all I love tacos have eaten them in several places us and in all parts of Mexico, and as 14 year veteran of DFW there are only a handful in the area that descent. I had all but thrown in the towel on authentic street tacos like in Mexico not Tex mexy Luke mist here, but all this time a hidden gem right next to another great spot for Lao & Thai had been in front of me. I had the holy trinity of street tacos bistec, pastor, carnitas. Meat was flavorful and seasoned just right homemade corn tortillas and the flour were good too! Gorditas both pastor and bistec were fried and yummy queso Blanco and crema were awesome salsa roja or red salsa was spicy without being overpowering. Lastly menudo was spicy and everything you expect from a traditional Mexican taqueria in Mexico. It's my new favorite taco spot. The people that worked there were warm sincere and nice to this red headed stranger even if I was the only gringo in the place. I have been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years. The owners have always shown me great customer service and the waitress named Daisy is so nice and always greets me with a smile. I usually get a Torta Cubana! The food is always hot and flavorful. I recently visited and due to the Pandemic they have raised their prices and to be honest it's understandable specially since this is a family owned business, I don't mind the extra 1.50-2.50 increase on some items. You can't beat tiny random hole-in-the-wall spots, really! Me and the hubby, Mike, walked in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and this little place was PACKED!! There was one table with 2 chairs available so we quickly got seated. This place really looks like a tiny, small, old convenient store where all they did was take out the aisles and shelving and replaced them with tables and chairs. In total, we ordered 4 tacos(al pastor, bistec, carnitas and tripitas), 2 al pastor gorditas and 1 bistec torta. First off, the gorditas were AMAZING! The gordita itself was nice and crispy -- not flimsy like we usually get when ordering a gordita and the al pastor filling was so flippin' delicious!! Second, Mike's bistec torta was HUGE, filled with nice bits of beef, refried beans, avocado and jalapenos. And the bread was super light and fluffy! The tacos were also pretty good -- my favorite had to be the al pastor. Wash all this down with a Mexican Coke and life is good. We'll definitely be back for more! read more

Came with avocado,lettuce, mayo, jalapeños,. The staff was nice they made the food quickly. The chile hot sauce is very good spicy and hot. Steak fajita could of use some seasoning but it was good, and cooked well. The torta bread taste fresh to, but if it wasn't for the chile hot sauce my sandwich would have been boring but it turn out to be ok sandwich and affordable for $6 or $7.
