The view is amazing if you're sitting outside. The bartender was great and super fast. As for the waiters and the food, everything was super mid. The food was underwhelming and nothing to rave about. If you like mid food this place may be for you though. We had to ask the staff to take our order as they didn't even bother to check on us. You can find a better place with a better price point. We are not coming back, unless we want a good view with quick drinks. Be wary of the oblivious service and unimpressive food (my shrimp omelette only came with 2 small shrimp). After a nice early AM beach walk with friends, we dropped in here for a beverage and a bite of breakfast. Took advantage of the perfect weather and a table on the outdoor covered deck to enjoy the breeze and the ocean view. With plenty of great choices on the menu, we selected the huevos rancheros (wife) and a bowl of classic shrimp and grits (me). Both were expertly prepared with generous portions and super tasty. Big salute to the chef for masterful presentation and plating of both dishes. We first eat with our eyes, after all. I also enjoyed a refreshing and delightful Bloody Mary cocktail as a starter. So visited today. Trying to figure out where the restaurant was is a little confusing as it is on the 2nd floor above Slider's. Stairs are located on the side under the sign for the Tiki Bar. There is also an elevator located inside Slider's for access. As far as food, it was ok. I had the Mexican omelette and my companions had omelette as well. Not bad.....just meh..... Now the oceanfront view was nice and there is outdoor balcony seating as well as indoor. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The trippy thing was they had a robot food runner!!! Had never seen one and myself and all the kids in the joint were amazed! read more

Not sure how one finds out what the restaurant personnel will be before coming...but that was our situation today. We have eaten here before, upstairs, on the beach, creative menu, nice staff...this time very limited menu (apparently chef wasn't there so very basic menu eggs menu but had shrimp and grits, fried pork chops for breakfast...unusual). We have had seafood eggs Benedict that was real good. Today not so much! Our server was young and sweet and it certainly wasn't her fault...everyone was just trying to roll with the punches....I just wish I had known before we came. read more

Perfect brunch spot overlooking the beach. Stopped in on Saturday during prime brunch hours. No wait, food was very tasty, and service was quick and friendly. They also offer brunch specials but we went with the seafood omelette w/ cheesy grits and benedict w/ potatoes. We also ordered spicy Bloody Mary's which definitely had a kick to it. Horrible service! They hate Christians! The management discriminates against Christians. Roy in particular!!!! Not the upper part with the brunch, but the lower tiki bar. Locals were a costing my daughter and my wife, and we mentioned it to the manager. The manager came out and told us that we should leave! This place does not have good service and utilizes the only spot on the beach as the reason to do so. Beware and go down a couple miles to the other tiki bars! This place will only disappoint you and try to get you in trouble for no reason. Roy the manager, and his assistant were so rude to us and only worried about the regular that was there a costing us! My favorite breakfast restaurant on Amelia Island. The location is fantastic to enjoy a beach sunrise. It opens early so take advantage. The menu is a standard breakfast menu. The Eggs Benedict item are very good as are the cheese grits. The servers are fun and engaging. read more

I didn't realize we had a separate restaurant from Sliders upstairs. According to the server it's the same operator. They changed their serving hours for breakfast only now. They do not serve lunch or dinner. The breakfast was pretty good with a seat on the balcony overlooking the beach. The Bagel sandwich was yummy. The bagel is soft to eat which is perfect for a breakfast sandwich. The hours of operation are 6am - Noon Monday thru Sat and 6am - 1pm on Sunday. They serve breakfast only now. Western omelette was good, not the best I've had but good. Lots of filling, so if you are hungry, this is the plate for you. Cheese grits were, without a doubt, the best grits I've ever eaten!
