Best TAKE-out, in a pinch, reasonably priced! When you just want to take it home, or they let you sit at the bar to eat it!!

Items are generally served out of a deli case and are reasonably priced at only a billion dollars a pound.

Food - so very good! Everything was hot and fresh and house-made. The gnocchi were little dumplings…read moreof pasta numminess. Yes, nummy. The chicken picatta was so, so good- just the right amount of lemony goodness. The Marsala was my husband's favorite- he's said it's some of the best he's had. My daughter said her veal was delicious. Get the cannoli- even if you don't normally like cannolis. My daughter loved her gooey snickerdoodle butter cake topped with ice cream. The decor and staff are everything you want in a family-owned Italian restaurant. There was Sinatra music playing and My Cousin Vinny on the TV - it was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is a small restaurant with limited seating. If you are pressed, make a reservation. Don't go here, if you want quick, impersonal service. Street parking, just a heads up.

I tried the meatball appetizer - it was decent but not really anything special. For dinner I had the chicken parm in a blush sauce which came with a side of gnocchi and my dining partner had grandmas Sunday gravy, again both decent. We skipped dessert because it was a decent amount of food. The other thing I'll mention is you're going to want to make reservations if you go. The entire restaurant seats what seems like 30 people.

On Wednesday it's only $6 a glass. I tend to go for a ravioli. The first time there I had the mushroom ravioli, which was absolute perfection tonight I had the lobster ravioli, which was still very good. The bread they bring out at the beginning is absolutely delicious with the infused oil on the table, although I do wish they had cracked pepper. It is a very loud place to eat, but it feels festive and not annoying. The desserts are also very good. If you want to eat somewhere that focuses on quality and not pretentious nonsense , this is the place for you

This place was featured on it! The home feeling to this place is awesome! They treat you like one of their own family members. It is decorated with family photos throughout and tons of awards for the Delaware/Wilmington area! It feels like a true italian family setting. Now for the food..... They bring you out what feels like a loaf of italian bread! I go here specifically to purchase the Guy Fieri Favorite ...and let me tell you, he's not wrong. Beef Braciole, homemade meatballs, sausage, meat ravioli, cheese ravioli, and spaghetti. Homemade traditional red sauce. The pasta is made every morning. I can't rave about this dish enough! The Chicken Alfredo comes with 2 cutlets. The homemade Alfredo sauce is also fantastic. You will definitely need a to go box! Now lets talk about the soup. Simple, but such a great item. This soup has to be the cure to the common cold. It takes you back to grandma's house as a kid eating chicken broth with noodles. The difference is the homemade pasta pearls. Of your traveling near Wilmington, just trust us stop here!

The restaurant is dark and vibey, and the house music is pretty loud so it may be difficult to hear others if you have a large party. -- I loved the burrata poptart! It was so perfectly flaky and fluffy, and the seasoning on top complemented the creamy burrata inside. It's topped with a sweet onion jam. It's the perfect balance of savory and sweet. -- The pork ribs fell off the bone, but they were bland. The accompanying green goddess dressing was a nice accompaniment, but even with that I was craving more flavor. The crispy tenkasu provided a nice texture contrast. -- The Australian Wagyu Hanger is supposed to be served medium rare but the steak I received was very undercooked, making the dish pretty chewy and unenjoyable. I did really enjoy the celery relish and two sauces. The steak was seasoned well. -- The Peach Bellini dessert was the best bite of the night -- it was perfectly balanced and so refreshing. The peach is subtle and the citrus shaved ice contrasts the creamy panna cotta well.
