We used to love this restaurant. So convenient to the high school and they delivered. Over the last year the quality has SERIOUSLY declined and they just seem too busy to keep up customer service. This restaurant is literally 45 seconds from my place (2/3 of a mile) so I frequently disappoint myself because of how convenient it is. There is another place, Pizza Mia in Highland, that is 35 minutes away with comparable prices. For quality alone, it's actually worth a 1:10:00 round-trip commute instead of a 0:01:30 trip. But tonight's experience was the anvil that broke the camel's back... I get a text saying "tonight only get a large cheese pizza for $9.95, pickup or delivery" and nothing else in the text. As they overcharge for the quality of their pizza, I figure I'd take them up on the deal and actually pay for what the pizza is worth (or closer to that - really whatever Domino's charges... halve that.) They say it will be between 45 minutes to an hour. That was at 5:18 PM. At 6:50 PM, I call them back and say "you quoted 45 minutes to an hour, it's now been more than double the time of your estimate, what's the status?" They say, " he just left and will be there in two minutes." At 7:14, so TWELVE TIMES as long as the new "adjusted" estimate, he arrives. Now I figure I'm not gonna take out of the delivery guy's tip because the kitchen is disorganized - I got a $20 and a $5 on me, $9.95 plus 0.0875% tax equals $10.82, I'll give him the $20 and only ask for a fiver back, giving him a 41% tip on an order that was MORE THAN DOUBLE the estimated time and I know the poor quality to expect. First off, he says it's $11.60, and as aforementioned there was no mention of any delivery surcharge in the text, so this is outright illegal - if you have some "fine print" then you have to actually include the "fine print." Otherwise it's just false advertising. Second off, he says he only has a $20 and a $1 on him. So I can't give him the $20 for a $5 back, and I can't give him $25 for a $10 back. Seriously GIVE YOUR DELIVERY GUYS ENOUGH TO MAKE CHANGE! So I have to give him the $20, he gets an $8.40 (which should have been $9.18 tip but they break the law with their pricing) for an order that was more than double the estimated delivery time which was obscene to begin with. And then have a horrible quality pizza on top of it - I'm usually not one to mop up pizza grease with napkins, but you need to with their pizza. The grease from one large pizza from here can make EIGHT paper towels completely transparent. And in a side-by-side comparison with Pizza Mia, the latter's crust is better, the cheese is better, the sauce is much, much better, and the toppings are a complete night/day difference better. This place is so bad that I'm considering moving just because of the local pizza. One final note. NEVER order the chicken cordon bleu pizza! I figure I like pizza, I like chicken, I like ham, and I like the sauce normally on the dish, so I'll give it a try. As usual, the crust is sub-par, the cheese is below average and the chicken and ham are lackluster. But the sauce was absolutely vomit-inducing. The food arrived within 90 minutes but part of order was wrong (honey barbecue wings instead of honey mustard), fries were soggy and the Meatball Parm was the worst I've ever had. We order from here all the time and it's not uncommon to wait an hour and a half but the last few time have been outrageous. It's either been a minimvof 1 1/2 hrs to 2 1/2 hours and on top of that almost every time has been wrong. Tonight I waited am 11/2 hrs to get a wrong mean and when I called 45 min later to ask where it was I was told it's just leaving . On top of this when you ask to pay with card over the phone they tell you the driver will come with the card reader but when they arrive they don't have it and call the card in anyway . read more

Their sauce is horrible, so when an ingredient is used in so many dishes, it kinda makes most of the food inedible. I also tried an Italian sub some months back and my son got a calzone... I'm new to Tosco's, but so far have eaten at the Monroe location and now today at the Walkill restaurant. They are opening a Newburgh location down the street from my house in the very near future. Have to say I've been impressed by both locations. Giant slices, and their plain cheese pie is one of the best around. Had a slice with shrimp & pasta alfredo on it in Monroe that was fan-damntastic, and their Tosco's slice with chicken, roasted peppers, artichoke, and balsamic is to die for. Prices are actually extremely affordable (Under $18 for a gourmet pie, and a couple slices and something to drink will cost you less than $7) and the dining room is quite pleasant. I haven't tried them yet, but the garlic knots, which always seem to be stacked high, fresh and ready to serve, along with the large selection of sandwiches, wraps, and dinners all look great. There's a reason these guys are opening up numerous locations...the food is that good! read more

This is my preferred pizza place to pick from what is in Wallkill. Whenever we call anything in for pickup, it's always done in 20 minutes and we're out the door in 5. I have only ate in a few times and it was always fine. Maybe a little slower just because we ordered when we got there instead of calling. The dining area is small and comfortable. I really have no complaints except for a few things that happened here and there. This is a fine pizza place if you live in Wallkill. read more

We have had Pizza from Toscos on several occasions. Good pizza. Most of the time we had the pizza while attending a party friends and families house. We decided to order for delivery. We checked out the menu online and decided hey lets try the 24" and a chicken wrap. We were super excited as we wanted to see what a 24" pizza would look like. Daughter had a sleepover so she was excited as well. Girl on phone said it would be 45 minutes. A little​ over an hour passed so we decided to call to see when they would be here. Girl on the phone stated the driver was on his way back to the shop to get our order out for delivery. 30 minute s later we call again. Driver Is on his way back to the shop he will be here soon. Husband asked when the food was made and how long it was sitting around. As a flour wrap get soggy sitting in a steam bath with hot french fries in a small tin container. The girl ensured us our food would be good and hot. Still didn't answer our questions when the food was made and how long it was sitting. TWO HOURS passed still no food. Husband called back cancelled the order. Girl tried to talk him out of it. No way!!!! We ordered a large pepperoni and a chicken wrap from Paisano's within 15-20 minutes the pizza was finished and we picked it up. No way have we ever waited over 2 hours for delivery. Never consistent with the food. Ordered a grilled shrimp Caesar salad they threw together a house Salad with some shrimp and a Caesar dressing, why have something on the menu if you don't have it. I brought my 10 year old and 9 year old daughters to Tosco's Pizzeria after a basketball clinic. Worst mistake ever! The pizza was tasty, however, when your 10 year old daughter takes a bite into her slice of meat pizza and bites down on a BOLT, it makes for a horrible experience. I told the young lady at the cash register and she was very apologetic. The cook in the back came out and apologized to us saying sorry, we are all human and make mistakes, which is true, however, my daughter could have swallowed it. Thank God, she did not swallow it, but she hurt her tooth. They credited me $3 and change for her slice of pizza. They should have credited me for our whole lunch because after that incident we lost our appetite!!! read more

I go to tosco's Pizza all the time. I usually get chicken parmesan which is an amazing portion and I have nothing bad to say about that. This review however is about the last pizza I ordered from there. I ordered the $14 pie, they have 5 sizes, and I got basically the medium. I ordered it with meatballs onions and garlic. They charge $3 for each additional topping and I don't mind paying $3 for a good size portion of a topping so I don't mind paying $3 additional for the meatballs however, I was charged three additional dollars for the onions and three additional dollars for the garlic. The onions were cut so thin that they tasted like little pieces of string on my pizza, and the garlic sliced so thin that I only saw one piece of garlic on the entire Pizza, and I couldn't taste it at all. I think that they need to change their pricing for additions to their pizzas to $3 for every meat topping or premium topping and a dollar fifty for vegetables. because I know how much vegetables cost and I did not get anywhere near $3 worth of onions or garlic on my pizza. As a matter of fact I didn't get anywhere near $3 worth both toppings put together! And that would be retail cost, no where near wholesale cost which is pretty much what they pay when they buy their supplies. I think in the future I'm going to stick to ordering a meat-lover's pizza, because at least that way, I know I'm going to get my money's worth of toppings. The pizza that I ordered the last time was really not worth my $22. read more
