Lunch special!

Literally love this place. It's my new go too. Portions are big, and it's very cheap. This is only a couple minutes from my house. So glad I found it 10/10 recommend it

My fave teriyaki spot in town. Always fresh and quick. Also the lady's are always so sweet.

In short About as good as it gets for yaki. I tend to go for…read morethe grilled style more often, but for pan/flattop-fried, it's hard to imagine a better plate of chicken than this. In long This is a huge strip mall parking lot that just disappears in a sea of huge strip mall parking lots along the big street out front. GC is tucked into one of the smallest suites you can imagine here; there's retail a short hop away that must be over 20K square feet, but here there's space for maybe 6 stools at the little counters. You have to turn sideways (not kidding) to read the menu. It's simple--a few proteins, served a few different ways, also available as combos. Most of their business is to-go orders. There's a cooler of pops and a couple sports drinks, and there's lovely classical music on the speakers somewhere. I listened to a pretty sonata for piano and string quartet while I waited and ate. The lady is super nice, a woman of few words and constant activity. She's answering the phone, grabbing online orders, and smiling at walk-ins. I got a pop and the spicy chicken combo. There's Sriracha on the counter. The miso was solid, and the salad had a little more than the usual iceberg and shreds in it. Some leaf lettuce, too! The chicken is super moist and nicely flavorful, but even getting the Spicy I still hit the Sriracha pretty hard. Amazing flavor and texture even without the scoring from the grill. I ate more than half of it before it occurred to me that some smoky grillness might be nice, so nothing's missing here. The rice is soft and chewy, solid light flavor, plenty of moisture still in it. Fresh made for sure. Prices here are right in line with everybody else. Looks like their KFC is a big hit and I might have to be back for that.

Nice moist tender chicken breast with a mild teriyaki sauce. Not bad for $13 lunch…read moreLovely quick and pleasant service from the owner Cozy Sushi bar atmosphere

The place was absolutely empty when we got there around 6:30 on a Friday. This made us feel a bit uneasy but maybe it was just a slow night. There was only one other table that came in during the time we were there. The place is in a strip mall and doesn't feel like the best area. It was a bit dingy inside but seemed clean. The waitress was nice and quickly came over to get our drink order. The menu is online via a QR code so make sure you have your phone handy. We ordered a few special rolls and some regular rolls. The food took a little while to come out despite the place being empty. The sushi was fine but nothing special. The El Diablo roll was probably my favorite and packed a decent amount of heat. The rest of the rolls tasted pretty good but I didn't love the bigger pieces of cucumber in them. On the plus side, the prices were pretty reasonable.

I'm going to be completely honest with you, this place isn't very good. Despite being in a state…read morethat has access to fresh fish and seafood, this place uses always frozen. Fish texture is that grainy, mushy kind. I'm not expecting Japan level sushi, but for the prices that you're paying per roll, you'd expect a little better. Atmosphere is fine, tables are a little sticky (you know what I'm talking about). Food presentation is good though, staff are hit or miss. Go here with expectations, then you may find this place okay to fix your sushi craving.

The prices are typical of the area. We ordered online and picked up. It was really easy to order on the website. There is a parking lot that is usually not full. Delivery review In…read moreshort Chalk up another solid teriyaki joint up here. Good stuff. In long Still knocking off all the entries on the list of the highly-rated yaki spots up here, and enjoying it every time for slightly different reasons. Bento Time takes good care of you. I ordered lunch from these folks today, the usual spicy chicken teriyaki. You can upgrade an online order to better rice or a bigger portion, but you can't subtract or replace stuff. No big deal, even though I don't love tossing 2 scoops of rice if I can help it. The salad mix is the usual, as are the gyoza. All solid. The spicy chicken comes in a watery dark sauce with a mild kick to it. Still needed quite a bit of hot sauce, but flavor was great. Lots of sauteed onions in this one. The bigger portion really is generous, but it was $4.50 more today. Chicken still tender and plenty juicy. Bottom line, I do happen to have found my old favorite under a new name, so I have my regular stop. But I am more than happy to have Bento Time in the rotation.
