But, don't sleep on that Brussel sprout warm salad. Wow! Would never have ever thought of this paring of Brussel sprouts, goat cheese, beets, candied nuts and balsamic dressing. Chefs kiss! The food was very good. It is nice to have the opportunity to try pizzas by the slice so you can have more variety. The most surprising thing about Toss was how good their Italian sandwich was. I was blown away with the flavor. This place would have gotten a five star rating if the service was better. We had to wave the waiter down multiple times and he didn't seem very attentive. Dang good first time at Toss! Went with my roomie for a quick bite on a weekday evening. No wait to get a seat, though service was a bit slow once we were seated. I got a specialty slice ($7) and the roommate got their 6 piece wings. They were sticklers about only one flavor sauce on the wings sadly haha. My slice was HUGE and beautiful. It was very thin, and the flavor was great. I wish that the dough had a bit more structure, as its floppiness was my only complaint. Had a great buffalo chicken pizza as well as pepporoni pizza too, and a salad to boot. We came to sample and have leftovers--a pizza half is pretty big! My wife really liked the buffalo chicken...most likely it was the blue cheese on it that set it apart from most...but the sause was tangy too. Good crust--chewy at the right level--and a fair beer selection. Easy to watch a football game here--it was raining and cold so we sat inside but they have a pretty covered area outside I want to try next time. Toss serves New York styled pizza, Texan style that either comes in a slice, half or full pie. The half serves 4 hearty slices, which is an easy share (or not). I ordered the Spinach Artichoke pizza, which was a half pie topped with romano cream sauce, chicken, spinach, artichoke, and mozzarella (also typically served with bacon, but I'm particular about bacon). Surprisingly, the Spinach Artichoke pizza was not as creamy or savory as expected. The chicken was dry, and you definitely need to add a dash of salt to this. We also ordered 12 wings, half in the Sambal Glaze and the other half in Sesame. The wings were crispy, but needed more sauce. I would advice to ask for a side of both sauces to slather on top. First and foremost, I do not write reviews, and I am incredibly patient and understanding with issues in restaurants as well as servers being busy. We went to toss on a Thursday night, not busy by any means. Ordered a pizza, waited for an hour with zero updates on the status of our order. After an hour of waiting our server told us "sorry for the wait they messed up the pizza twice". Apparently they burnt the first one and broke the second one in half. No problem, accidents happen, the issue is that we were not informed about any of these issues or checked on for a hour while we waited. We then told our server that we didn't get any plates, or the hot honey or ranch that we ordered on the side. After about 10 minutes our server returned with these items, except the hot honey was actually just a cup of maple syrup. We told our server that it was maple syrup and not honey and her response was "we don't have maple syrup". No problem, accidents happen, but accountability goes a long way. She then returns with a cup of hot honey and tells us they made it spicier since we probably thought it was maple syrup because it was sweet. We then asked her to smell the syrup. When she did her response was "oh yeah this is maple syrup". No apologies for anything other than the initial "sorry about the wait" and we had to get up from our table and walk up to the server station to ask for our check. I completely understand that businesses are understaffed and people have bad days, but apologies and explanations go a long way in my eyes in the service industry. read more

However the flavor of the garlic parm is pretty much oil with a hint of garlic. One of my drums bones was cracked in the middle and stabbed my gf in the gums leaving a very obvious puncture wound in her mouth, yall gotta double check for broken bones, swallowed it can be very hazardous and potentially get someone in the hospital. I do believe that was an accident, but none the less, toss check your stuff! This is the third time they forgot our ranch when ubering through Uber eats so id save the dollar and just use the one you have at home. What a great place to watch a Longhorn game. We sat at the bar and had an amazing experience with the service from our bartenders. We ordered the stuffed pretzel with queso for dipping, and it didn't disappoint. Great food and people! Recommend the Old Fashioned drink they barrel age. Delicious! Frozen margaritas on point and pretty strong. You don't realize it until you are almost done. This is probably my favorite pizza place in Texas. I love coming here and bring out of town friends and family here. The brisket pizza is always a must. We made the mistake of ordering a half pizza. I would Just order a whole one because your going to end up eating it anyways. We also had the stuffed pretzels which were good. I'm just not a huge fan of stuff like that. You can order individual custom slices, or half a pizza they have curated and of course a whole as well. I got a half of the South 1st Supreme ($17) which could feed two people.
