ridiculous to say the least. I came here from urgent care to get an x-ray on what the doctor suspected to be a fractured rib. I sat and waited over an hour to be seen by someone. I would understand the wait if there were an excess amount of people in the waiting room, however many people had came after me and were still seen before me. what's the point of waiting in line if we're just gonna skip around?? I asked the staff when I would be seen about 40 mins in and they told me only 20 more minutes...I waited 40 more to be seen. Staff did not care that I was waiting at all. One star is extremely generous. Don't come here unless you have all the time in the world. read more

Fellow MRI claustrophobics: Tower Imaging's team is excellent at alleviating any worries. If your doctor requires a "closed" MRI instead of an "open" one, you can make an appointment to have your MRI at Tower with what's called a "wide-bore" machine that has a much larger, 32-inch-circumference tunnel than normal. I found that machine on the Tower Imaging Valencia website and had my doctor send me there. Also, on the day of, Karen, the MRI technologist, offered to place a special mirror above my head. The mirror created a sense of open space by showing me the technology team's booth at the far end of the room instead of the top of the tunnel. This, plus a low-dose sedative pill prescribed by my doctor, prevented any feeling of claustrophobia. Karen was great in guiding me through the MRI and letting me know how long it would take. Also, a couple of weeks earlier, technologist Jennifer was outstanding at narrating every step of the process when I had a calcium CT scan. This leads me to believe the team at Tower emphasizes efforts to reassure patients. Every person I encountered on the phone or in person was helpful and understanding. That makes such a difference. read more

Service at the location was exceptional. HOWEVER, getting through on their call line is nearly impossible. Today I had 4 callers ahead of me and I was put on hold when it was my turn. I waited for 7-8 minutes more on hold and then was promptly disconnected. I called back... now 8 on hold before me. There has to be a better way. read more

The technicians are cheerful and efficient, but the front desk has a couple of problems. First, a woman came in accompanied by her young son who had a terrible cough. I am sure people with cancer and compromised immune systems visit an imaging facility, and the front desk desk should have asked the woman to put a mask on her son. Second, we gave them all the insurance cards and info. but a month later they billed us for the entire amount and the statement said they couldn't find the insurance information. read more

The techs talked to me throughout and kept me calm the entire time, which was almost an hour. I came for a lower back MRI with contrast. It was scheduled 40 min however for some unknown reasons I end up in the tube 2 hours 50 min. The person who performed the MRI injected the contrast under my skin INSTEAD of injecting in my vein. WHAT REALLY UPSET ME was the fact nobody told me what happened until I noticed the blood and swollen arm when I was changing my clothes. After I complaint they gave me warm compress to put on. It starts hurting after I put the compress and even after a week now my arm still hurts and looks terrible. read more

I was at Tower Imaging and had been dreading my MRI because I struggle with pain while laying flat, and I have not experienced being in an MRI machine. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by a friendly receptionist named Maria who guided me through the paperwork. When all that was done, Karen the MRI technologist guided me through the next steps in preparation for the MRI. As soon as I laid down, the anxiety began setting in, but it was calmed by Karen's guidance and reassurance. I took a deep breath and into machine I went. Karen continued to check on me and update me as we moved through each phase. This was very helpful for me as it helped me pace through. In the machine I maintained deep breaths, mainly kept my eyes closed and mind distracted. Before I knew it, it was complete. I am very grateful for Maria, Karen, and Tower Imaging for supporting me through this challenge. I could not have asked for a better experience scheduling and going through the MRI. read more

I had to sit on hold for 30 minutes to schedule an MRI. They said they are busy helping other people and can't pick up the phone. They really need a better system. Kaiser and Facey never leave you on hold for more than 5 minutes. They need to hire a dedicated receptionist and appointment setter. If they need someone, I am available to work from home. I have experience in this industry and it seems poorly managed. read more

Absolutely one of the most shady offices I have ever been to. Was given a note from my doctor that I might die if I did not get a CT. I have valid insurance, even with that they said they would not do the scan without prepayment of $425. Of course I paid it because of the note from my doctor. I was told it would be refunded as soon as they received authorization. That was a lie, I was told today 30-90 days after they receive payment from the insurance company. Also, the fact that I needed to pay in advance to get service was also a lie. I was told by Anthem/Blue Cross that I should NEVER pay for services until they have been billed and I know what my actual balance is. I was passed back and forth between billing and the office. I was also told I could keep complaining but the bottom line was it wouldn't change anything and I would get a refund if and when they received payment from the insurance company. If you need any sort of imaging go anywhere but Tower Imaging, it's cheaper in Mexico and since you now have to pay in advance for services here in the US even though you have insurance might as well save some money! read more

I have been going to this location for my mammogram for over 8 years and really like the techs I have had, but this is the first time I have ever received a bill! First, they billed it incorrectly and were charging me just under $100, so I called them. They then did some checking and correction and are now charging me $35. My insurance company and I have had three-way calls with the billing, and they have been told they are billing it incorrectly. My mammogram is a preventative care procedure, so they cannot bill me as my insurance pays 100% when billed correctly. I have called them weekly, and they have even called me, but I still can not get this bill resolved. This is so frustrating, and they need to look at what changes they have made in their processes and people. read more

The front desk receptionist Stacy was SO RUDE when i went in. I was transferred from urgent care in a lot of pain for a ct scan and i let her know i was nauseous and wasn't sure if i could drink the contrast (which was stated in my paperwork was not needed) and she said rudely it was fine. I immediately threw it up. And she rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders at me. I had to wait for results and she didn't even look at me when i asked questions, i was told it would be 15-20 mins for my results, i ended up waiting an additional hour. I observed her talked to other guests and her demeanor was just unbelievable. She shouldn't work there if she can't talk to people with decency. The technician was kind and respectful which is the ONLY REASON I have this place 2 stars and i saw one of the other nurses come out (even though her shift was over) and have a conversation with a patient in the waiting room who she recognized, they had a sign on the desk that said "rate us on Yelp" you bet i came to. read more

The folks at Tower were top notch, from the very welcoming receptionist to the very accomplished MRI technologist, Jasmine. From signing in, to the punctual way the appointment was handled, even to the dressing room, I was treated with a professional courtesy and care that raised the bar for how medical professionals treat their patients. So twice visiting here in two weeks... an ultra sound and a CT scan..... each time I was greeted warmly and attended to quickly. Each tech was kind and gentle and efficient. My doctors got what they needed from the imaging without have to do any do-overs. Because my case needed stat reports they were able to squeeze me in immediately. Also, since it was so fast they were unable to get pre-authorization from my insurance and they asked for a 300.00 deposit that would be returned to me once Ins. was confirmed. I complied. We will see what the return process looks like later. I'll also add that I appreciated all the health conscienceness there. Everyone was wearing masks, and all patients needed to wear masks also and provided hand sanitizer everywhere. read more
