Hooray for this pizza place!! Really excited to have a pizza shop with a high end feel. The ambiance inside is adorable. Their pizza is wood fired, which we all love. The white clam and salad pizzas are some of our faves. Love the size of the personal pizza. But their other dishes are just as yummy! I have had a hard time finding a pizza place that serves authentic Italian. Usually it's all just loaded with sauce and cheese. REAL Italian is fresh, simple and light. Yes that's right. LIGHT! Every time I've brought guests with me to dine in, we have always received excellent service & the food has always been exceptional! Their pizza is the best around! This place I give 2 stars because unfortunately the food was great BUT these people made us feel like we were gonna leave w/out paying. Watched us like a hawk. If we got up to use the restroom they made sure someone would watch where we went. I went to the counter to look at the dessert display and asked the girl at the counter what flavor were certain desserts were and when I picked one and asked them to put it on my tab and older lady said "make sure that gets charged to her table" as I'm still standing there. RUDE! Then after my family ate some of the dessert I dashed to the counter to pay and again the same older lady told the girl cashing me out "did that crumb cake go in her tab?" while waiting for the receipt to sign for my bill I had my cash out for tip, wrote the total of the bill, wrote cash then signed I decided to put the tip in the jar on the counter, which was a mistake, I should've left it on the table. Which quite frankly TIP is a courtesy for how well service was not required BUT I am always a good tipper. We left and started getting in the car an older man came walking out and asked my daughter(21yrs) "was the service not good?" She didn't understand why he was asking that and I got out of the car and asked him "I'm sorry is there a problem?" My daughter told me what he asked and I said "I don't understand what's the problem." He showed me the receipt I signed and said "you didn't leave tip" I respond "what are you talking about I left tip in the jar in the counter. I left a $10 and a $5" he then said "oh you did?" I said YES! And he walked back in This is the worse and most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me and although NY is not home I will tell all my friends and family that go to visit upstate NY NEVER TO COME HERE. The older man and lady were rude and made us feel like they were prejudice against us. All together I dropped close to $100 at this place for only 5people I would think you should treat visitors with more courtesy in this rural area that should receive tourists kindly. Gluten free option available in pizza. Would feel more inclined to go here more often if the waitstaff were consistently good. Fortunately, a manager always seems to come at the right time and offer warm bread, just when the waiters have disappointed. Food is always good though. ALWAYS. Rude person on phone all the time. 3 times ordered Chicken Parmigiana hero's takeout, sandwich was microwaved in Styrofoam hero container. chicken was tough and old all 3 times. Pizza pickup they tell you 45mins but in fact pizza is done in 20 min then sits on top of oven making it well overcooked by 45min. big staff behind counter but they cant get it together. small waiting area with bad flow waiting for eat in restaurant. The manager, Laura was extremely accommodating and friendly. It was a nice evening & my husband & I wanted to sit outside to enjoy the music. Laura made sure we were comfortable. We ordered 2 personal sized pizzas. The were generously size with a thin crust cooked to perfection. The Rapitini pizza had a nice sweet Italian sausage & broccoli rabe & garlic. Yummy! The other pizza had fired roasted vegetables that were delicious & a nice proportion. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant. Just happen to be passing through town on a road trip and stopped here. The salad, wings, and pizza were all delicious and we tend to be pizza snobs. The service was fast and the staff were extremely welcoming! They even have us free bottles of water for our ride home! We will definitely be back when passing through! read more

Since we first ordered more than two years on a whim we have been absolutely hooked. We order pizza and salad every Friday night and when we have friends over we order more! The dinner for four package is excellent and includes much more food than expected which is great. The chicken rigatoni is to die for!!! We have been patrons who have LOVED this place for the last few years, waiting on line at peak times for the pleasure of eating ANYTHING on their menu. Great food and great portions. However, over the last couple of months, the quality of the food has radically changed. On the last three visits, we have been very disappointed. Every pasta dish had mushy, super-overcooked pasta; whereas before, pasta was always perfectly al dente. The sauces and rest of the dish look and taste different - not as good as they formerly were. We have to wonder if the restaurant has lost its chef, because there is no resemblance to the former quality we enjoyed. We really loved having this local restaurant as a high quality option. Very disappointing because the salad taste good other than picking out a bunch of shitty lettuce. I had chicken scarpariello, family had chicken sorrentino, chicken francese, ravioli, pappardelle bolegnes. Everything was excellent!! Service was warm and very friendly. Place is new and very clean. Prices were very reasonable and portions provided us with plenty of leftovers. You have to try their Mac and cheese. We had it as an appetizer and it was the best I've had.
