I am going to be having DREAMS about this pizza. Probably the most tasty and soft yet crispy crust I've ever enjoyed on a slice. And the sauce and cheese were yum also. But the crust really deserves special mention because so many places get it wrong. I would devour a whole loaf of the stuff. Side note, prices are fantastic too. I had a favorite pizza restaurant in town that I always ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza from, it was recently sold and not very good anymore. I recently discovered Townline and it's for sure my new favorite!! I love when restaurants have an online order option but when I saw they charge $0.95 "support local fee" i thought that was a bit silly so decided to call. When you call you are given the option to receive a $3 off coupon code if you order online, so why not.. anything to save a buck or two Their chicken bacon ranch pizza is awesome!! OK its 1 star, but i really want to make it 1.5, but i cant do that. so its 1 for now. Overall, pretty much a plain old boring pizza. i saw the sign along the road that said "NEW WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA" and stopped in to check it out, sadly they don't do slices of the whole wheat pizza. I had a cheese slice that taste like pepperoni. pretty gross for a vegetarian (that's me.) The plain cheese slices they had were on one of those rotisserie pizza displays that keep the pizza warm with light bulbs, not too impressive or authentic. The crust was like cardboard, the tomato sauce was pretty unexceptional, and the cheese was oily and blah - rubbery and not too tasty. the menu is pretty big - and goes way beyond pizza, and some of their "gourmet" pizzas sound good (like the untouchable - broccoli, onions, tomato, olives, garlic, ricotta..) and they list a ton of apps, salads, clubs, fried dough, grinders, parm grinders, steak & cheese, wraps, hot dogs, seafood dinners and even cheese cake. Maybe if i need to order a whole large pie some day I will try the wheat pizza here, but there are other options nearby that I know are always good. read more

Just average is what comes to mind here. This place is pretty generic and their pizza isn't bad but isn't anything special. The sauce and crust don't deserve any superlatives. I mean it's not bad like Domino's, but with so much competition around, a place like this doesn't compete. Grinders here are pretty good, but again nothing amazing. Could be bigger for the price. They don't skimp so I'll give them props for that. The place is small and their prices are cheap so they have that going for them. But their pizza is nothing special. Solid, but not spectacular. Toppings are the same way, they don't taste fresh, the pepperoni is kind of rubbery, like a cafeteria pizza. Update: They have great wraps here that come with good fries and free soup for orders over $5. The wraps are HUGE and tasty. Average pizza, good grinders, great wraps. read more

My family has tried most of the pizza spots in southington. This place is hands down the best. Very consistent, always very good and very few if any mistakes. Just about once a week for three years. I have also had them do 10+ pizzas for occasions and they come through every time with no hiccup. read more

Nice little place, had the Townline combo!!! It was awesome, and I side salad. Didn't eat it there, brought it back to my hotel room. Wasn't overly greasy, cheese was done perfectly. This was a pleasant surprise! I went in to try the pizza which was recommended by the store clerk next door only to find that there are some super authentically cooked meals here . The pizza was a huge slice and I loved the herbs, sauce , crust , and flavor of cheese they use . The chicken noodle soup was rustic and tasted like grandmas comfort food . I also had a bottle of water . All at the whopping price of $2.89. I will be back soon . read more

I have not given many reviews in the past, but now I feel that this has to be corrected and give credit where it is due. I have been going to Townline Pizza for years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to meet the owner (Lule) and her employees. Lule is without a doubt one of the hardest working people I know. She also has the best Italian cuisine in plantsville. The food is always hot and on time. I have never been let down. Try thier food and you'll understand what I'm talking about. Had there pizza for the first time last week at work. Order the gluten free cheese pizza and it's the best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten since finding out I was gluten free. Tastes just like pizza and you don't even notice it's different. I ordered another pizza today for lunch but with a topping and I'm sure it will be just as good or even better! We should have been warned when we ordered lasagna and the order taker asked "what kind of pasta do you want?" It gets worse though... We ordered chicken Sorrentino and the order taker keeps calling it chicken Florentine. We call her out on it and she says "I am just saying it wrong".... guess what happens when we get the order delivered, oh yes, it's wrong. So we call. order taker blames us for the error, saying "I read it back to you and you did not catch it". After giving this place a second chance after an inedible salad a few months ago, this is all it takes for us to never order again. read more

My 1st order was pizza & it came quickly, was fresh and hot with a wonderful crust + prices are terrific! Placed an order for today my sons bday party 4 party size pies each had 44 slices: cheese, pepperoni, meat lovers & veggie (so delicious) plus 1 free all for around 105$ 120$ w/tip unreal! Can't beat it with a stick! The prices were great & the pizza was even better! Everything was perfect, came exactly when I asked for it to be delivered. I can't speak for their dinners YET but their pizzas are right on the $$$!!! Highly recommended! Next we will be trying a few dinners. This place is great! Consistent good quality and I've never really been disappointed. I've probably ordered delivery from Townline 20 times by now and the only time that something was "off" was a pizza slightly undercooked, but still not bad. Great food for the price. They have probably one of the best meatball grinders that I've had. Their pizza is great, and even their burgers and chicken fingers are good. I've never had an issue with their delivery. There was a small child running around barefoot, in and out of the kitchen with a lighter in her hand. Solid first impression. Ordered a wrap to go. When i got back to work I opened the box to discover the wrap was so poorly put together, I had to eat it with a fork and a knife. The fries were decent. 10/10 won't go back. read more
