The food was mediocre but the customer service is what killed the experience for me I ran my debit card through the driver's system and it went through before I was able to add a tip (for some reason went directly to payment) the driver didn't know how to change it then just said it was OK, I apologized and he went on his way, the owner calls me up and tell me they would no longer deliver to my home because I didn't tip the driver, I thought that was optional not mandatory and the topper was the large pizza and 2 litre of coke was $30. Steer clear! Experienced the very worst in customer service ordering a pizza here.. took over an hour from the first phone call (they were confused by the address and multiple calls were needed). Driver was rude and entitled acting like we were lucky to have gotten served at all. Definitely NOT a customer-first attitude in any way shape or form!!! Offered nothing in the way of a discount for the bad experience and in fact rudely suggested we throw his menu away and never order again. If I could give zero stars I would. My family and I have celiacs disease so I was excited to see they had gluten free pizza. The website says they are 12 inches. We ordered 2 pizza and it came to over $25.00. When they were delivered we sat down to eat and to my surprise the boxes said "10 inch". I was shocked. There is a big difference between a 10 in, like personal pizza to a 12 inch, like a small- med pizza. So I paid $25 for 2 personal size pizzas!!!!!! Here is the worst part: I called to express my dissatisfaction. The guy, who was not the owner, yelled at me. He said Don't come back then! He was really nasty and disrespectful! I've ordered from here lots of times and the food and service is good but the last time I ordered here is officially the last time because my last order contained a note which read "do better on tip" and granted I've only given a 1$ tip each time an number 1. It's optional 2. Broad Street Pizza has been in business for more than 20 years. Must be doing something right. I think probably one of the best pizza places in Meriden. Crust is crispy, not soggy. I can only judge by the slices, not a whole pizza. Never been disappointed. They do thin crust which is a plus. read more

Gross! Owner was rude to my coworker and just kept making statements to her that were irrelevant. We could have gotten our food at Walmart for cheaper and it would have tasted better. I use to order from here weekly, but never again! Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Not only was I told I shouldn't of ordered something if I didn't know the ingredients but I was hung up on and when I tried to call back I was called a stalker and threatened with police! I order about once a week because it's close to my job but never again. I was checking there online menu and I came Accross a Stromboli it said it was served with sauce, and made with 100% mozzarella and provolone cheese in a fresh dough. Exactly how the calzone is made But with provolone and not ricotta and the calzone is what I normally order without ricotta.. I'm not a fan of there sauce it's pretty watery. I also ordered a small house salad. When I received my food I saw the Stromboli had sauce on the inside I called and said I didn't realize it has sauce on the inside that the menu didn't say that and could I return it for a calzone and I was told I had to wait an hour for the owner to come into the restaurant and my number was taken down.. well almost 2 hours had passed so I called again and I was told that I shouldn't of ordered something if I didn't know how it was made and it's not there fault so there was nothing they could do I explained I looked up a Stromboli online and it also didn't say it was served with sauce on the inside! I was then hung up on. I tried to call back and when he answered I was told I was a stalker and that he would call the police on me.. I will never again eat there again the salad was also 6$ and the container had very little lettuce. The pizza I just ordered was actually pretty decent. Just a basic small cheese pizza. The calzone is AWFUL. And I did ask for extra marinara and a side of ranch and tipped without checking my order first. Those extra requests were apparently too much for them to provide me with. read more

Broad Street pizza makes a good pizza at a fair price. Other local joints want upwards of $20 for a pizza smaller than what Broad Street offers. I've got nothing bad to say about Broad Street Pizza, except that once I called to order a lunch delivery and they had no driver. Not a big deal. Their food is good. I've had their pizzas and their gyro and I've no complaints. I'm hoping to order from them again soon, since they are one of the few places around that has chorizo as a pizza topping. read more

This is the place where 22 inches means pie a huge party size pizza thin crust full flavored doesn't break till you bite zesty sauce stringy I mean stringy cheese . Bring your family this is one of the few places left where you can have a riot of a good time the staff is so friendly they been here since I was a kid . Gotta try the fried dough man its carnival style and the cheese cake OMG go try the cheese cake and the steak and cheese if you don't want pizza .
