Our group had multiple allergies per person, which can make going out to eat VERY stressful, but the staff handled everything so professionally from start to finish. They took the time to listen carefully, made sure to understand all of our restrictions, and were very reassuring about how the food would be prepared. It made us feel completely comfortable and able to actually enjoy the experience without worrying. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions. As we were leaving, the fire pit was lit up! We ended up at 110 Grill completely by accident. The restaurant next door had a crazy long wait, so I called 110 Grill and they said they could seat us right away. We drove over, walked in, and were immediately seated. That alone was a great start. But the real reason I'm writing this review is Andrea. It's been a long time since we've had service this good. Andrea was warm, calm, attentive, and completely on top of everything. You could tell she genuinely cared. My son has a peanut allergy and my daughter has a shellfish allergy,, both severe. If you don't live with anaphylactic allergies, it's hard to understand the stress that comes with eating out. You're always thinking about cross-contamination or kitchen mistakes. Andrea immediately made us feel comfortable. She carefully reviewed the allergies, repeated them back, and made sure everything was clearly noted. When the food came out, the allergy meals were marked, and they restated the allergies again before placing the plates down. That level of attention builds trust, and for families like ours, trust is everything. On top of that, the food was very good. Fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. They offer multiple lemonade flavors. My daughter couldn't decide which lemonade she wanted, and Andrea made her a lemonade "flight" so she could try all four. Such a small gesture, but it meant a lot. After we left, I actually looked into 110 Grill because I was so impressed. I learned they're known for being allergy-friendly and that much of their menu can be prepared gluten-free. That explains why everything felt so organized and intentional. We're just traveling through, but I honestly wish we had something like this on Long Island, NY. Completely different experience today than we've had in the past. Saturday lunchtime around 12:45pm and it was pretty empty, emptiest we've ever seen. We sat with our dirty menu's, I get they are a thicker cardstock paper but all of them were dirty and really appear to be worn. Our server was also the bartender on and was managing multiple tables and sections. The staff appeared very life by comparison in the past. When we finally ordered, our server was pleasant and attentive. The problem was with the "manager" who doesn't appear to have experience with expediting as well as a 2 person kitchen staff that was literally not communicating. Something is very off either the staff/management and it's ultimately trickling down to the quality of service/food quality. We were seated by the open kitchen and first hand watched as items just sat. Literally, just sat and not for like 1-2 minutes, clocked some items sitting for over 10 minutes. In particular was one of our meals, the kitchen staffs timing way off and the manager refused to let staff bring plates out. In particular, we had two children, what manager/expeditor doesn't bring out kids food first if it's ready. This isn't fine dining, but everything fell flat today and when I sent back the room temperature grill cheese and soup that sat for 9 minutes, we got a pathetic "sorry". By the time my meal came out, everyone was finished. Disaster and they only had 12 tables which is pretty pathetic. We recently ate at this location in Southington, CT and it was awesome. All four meals were absolutely tasty, savory and made from scratch with our gluten and dairy sensitivities in mind. It's rare that you get a 4 for 4 from our group. Two of us, who are not gluten or dairy sensitive , absolutely found the meals to be incredible. I had the macaroni and pulled pork with fried string onions as a topper. It was amazing. One of our party had the shrimp scampi, and she stated that it was amazing. The gluten and dairy sensitive guests both had the fish and chips and each received rave ratings. Our server was Christian, and he was a great personality, responsive, and educated on food sensitivities. This restaurant focuses on anyone of their patrons who have food sensitivities and they aim to please. Had dinner recently with some friends. Our server Rebecca was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. My friends have allergies (gluten) and they enjoyed their meals. I ordered the prosciutto wrapped cod and side salad. It was excellent, the broccoli side was cooked perfectly and the lemon butter sauce was delicious. The cod was cooked well as was the prosciutto. Came by at 6pm on a Friday, there were four of us. The place is fairly new and part of a chain. A nice elliptical bar is immediately in front of you as you enter. The place has a nice feel to it. We were greeted warmly by a hostess and brought to a booth near the front of the restaurant. There are booth's through out the place and many tables. It seemed large but we did not investigate the entire room. At around 630pm the place began to fill up. We each got cocktails a couple of local IPA's, and two martinis. They were fine. Our server was very good and spacing was perfect. We started with fried pickle chips to share they were very good. A couple of us got a small Caesar salad and liked them. Tonight I sat at the bar. The bar is horseshoe shaped and a decent size. It was very understaffed for a Saturday night. There was only one person working behind the bar. She seems to be doing okay but service was slow due to the amount of people and the understaffing. The cocktail was very bittersweet not the best one I've had but the bartender was very kind to replace it with something else when I didn't like it. The wine was actually really good and she gave kind of a heavy poor. The flatbread was tasty and the menu has a bunch of good choices. This restaurant offers a menu of mixed items. I had the fig and goat cheese flatbread. I've had several other items on the menu, and everything is pretty good. The bar is a large horshoe that seats roughly 20 people. My biggest complaint with this place is the service. I have never sat at a table, but every time I've been at the bar, it's been understaffed. The bartender tonight was fantastic and doing everything (bar service, service bar and clean up). She was lovely and hustling, but the service was slow because she was handling so much on her own. I went here for my sister's surprise birthday dinner . There was 12 of us all ordering drinks and food. The main reason we went there was for the gluten free menu for my sister. They have a full gluten free menu and they say they can make anything on tbt menu . They also have deserts . I had the gluten free sweet potato fries that were good. My sister ordered the vegetable stirfry with gluten-free pasta. She thought it was amazing. She thought the pasta was very good and didn't seem gluten-free to her. They take the gluten-free allergy very seriously. Only the manager can bring out the gluten-free food and it comes with a little flag in the food designating it gluten free. I tasted a friend's fried pickles that were very good as well. I had the pesto pasta that was very tasty and I was happy with. I wish I took more pictures of everyone's food, but I only took a picture of my own. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. I look forward to going again. Finally got a chance to check out 110 Grill in Southi ngton on Mothers Day. First of all, call ahead and make reservations. This place is BUSY during breakfast/lunch time. Luckily, a table did free up, but we could have waited a while. It was PACKED. We got seated at a high top booth near the order counter. I ordered the breakfast burger, which had an egg in the mix. It was very good. The fries they give you kind of resemble the McDonalds look, and they put them in a little mini cast iron dish. They give you just enough to be satisfied but not so much that all you see on your plate is fries (you all know what I'm talking about). It had a good visual look when the burger and fries arrived at my table. The only issue I had was that since I was so close to the order counter, I could hear conversations between all the staff. For better or worse. Also, the menu size is underwhelming. I was hoping for more options to choose from. Burgers are my safe word when the menu isn't diverse or broad enough as it's common to have a decent one and always good to get a great one. It was a delicious burger, so that worked out. Maybe the menu was smaller for Mothers Day to avoid food delays. I'm not sure, but I was disappointed. I would come again if asked. Always a favorite for dinner! My husband is gluten free so we were happy discover 110 Grill. They have a pretty good size menu with a separate gluten free menu and dedicated gluten free fryer. Tonight we had the Pickle Chips for appetizer. We love them, they stay crunchy even after cooling a bit. The sauces are ok but, it would be nice it they spiced one up with maybe some horseradish. I had the Chicken Piccata and Gnocchi. This is my go to here. Delicious! My husband had Whole belly clams ( sorry for no photo) they were served with a very tasty coleslaw and really good French fries, seasoned with Old Bay seasoning. He thoroughly enjoyed his dinner, it's been a while since he's been able to enjoy them. For dessert we took home some Lemon Beignets, we've been wanting to try these, but, they're usually out of them. Remember these are gluten free, they're different. I'm not a fan,but, I'm glad there is a gluten version. Great service every time! Moderately busy in a good way. Weather permitting, there is outdoor seating. So this visit was a redo after I hit a snag on my initial visit with being slammed and confusion on getting seated Eyce which we all hit snags so we were definitely happy to come back, and I can tell you I am 100% happy that we went back in again. The other two behind the bar did very well as well but Sabrina made an impression on us so I wanna make sure that she gets a little thumbs up. Buffalo dip was on point, the spinach dip was good but not entirely hot, we didn't complain or send back, it was warm ish and we were startling!! Love how it was served and there was enough bread and chips to go around. Entrees. I had the chicken Caprese with fried chicken and greens. I had a hard time sharing this as I wanted it all, my partner got a sliver lol. The flavors, texture and the fact it was still juicy were all amazing. My partner had the gnocchi picatta, again something very different but right on point!! After arguing over dessert as I usually don't do it but my partner does I almost told him to order his own cause I was taking his... it was the PB ice cream brownie Reese concoction!!! Pros: Nice atmosphere and the service was very good. Cons: Prices are pretty high. Food was fine but not commensurate with the prices. My friend had a salad with chicken which was the size of a side salad but cost $19. My other friend had salmon which was also pretty small for $27. I had the pulled pork sandwich for $16.50 and the pork was good but I did not care for the pretzel bun (normally I love pretzel buns). However I did like the sweet potato fries. The server did bring us bread but there were only 4 rolls but 5 people...and they were teeny tiny like the size of a munchkin. Not sure if I would return unless someone really wants to go back. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area at the same price point that I like better. Not saying this place is bad but there is no really draw to go back. read more

As my boyfriend and I were driving to Lake Compounce, we came across this modern grill restaurant (looked just like Maggie McFly) to get a quick bite. The environment was very nice with an open kitchen so you can see the chefs as they cook everything. The staff were great and accommodating, especially when it came to dietary restrictions (they asked us multiple times in regard to food allergies and if we wanted gluten free menus). For the appetizer we ordered the Asian calamari, which was way too salty. The breading was fluffy but the inside was too mushy for our liking. The entrees were also very disappointing - ordered the crab cake sandwich and the 110 signature burger. The crab cake sandwich was way too seasoned, while the 110 signature burger was bland. For a signature burger, you would think they would up their game more. $20 for a school cafeteria burger is outrageous. We've had a couple of service failures here, but the service recovery efforts have been strong. The atmosphere is quite appealing, as are the decor and setting. The food is good. On a recommendation from a local friend instopped in for lunch. I went with their healthier options after week of eating too much heavy food on the road. I got the turkey burger and a side of broccoli. The burger was engineered well and tasted great! The broccoli was lightly steamed but still firm, just the way I like it! I had a cup of chowder to start, and while I like the way they make chowder up in Mass better, this was good.. Finished up with the gluten free chocolate cake. This place is trying to be a sports bar with good food. It fails at the food part. I ordered the ribeye $38. This steak tasted as if it were purchased at restaurant depot and was very likely Choice at best and select at worst. Imagine Ruby Tuesdays and you get the idea. I may be whining about inflated food prices here, but the quality for price was not there. Our server was great so an extra point for that. Stop in to this place as a part of a day exploring Southington. My first impression was that the place was very modern and I love that they have gluten-free options. They have a gluten-free menu that the server said was basically the same menu as the non-gluten-free, which I found to be Dope We came during a time where it was not busy, which I honestly love because the service is usually more intimate. I ordered the barbecue chicken nachos and I asked for my cheese on the side so that I could control how much cheese was put on it. The barbecue chicken nachos was very good. My only note would be more chicken on the barbecue chicken nachos. However, the service was a little slow despite the restaurant being slow, they have an open kitchen concept. Therefore you can see when your order is ready and it took away from the ambience being able to also see your server and food runners in a nook in the restaurant on their phones as your food sits in your face yet to be delivered. however the overall flavor of the food made up for it. my significant other and I had a great late lunch. we will be back. read more

My biz partner and I went in on Saturday night fairly early and the place was already getting busy. We were seated right away and our server Quin was there in a flash. Quin was AMAZING! Super friendly, nice, knowledgeable and HAPPY! She made our whole experience extremely memorable even though mid way through our dinner she was slammed! Apparently there was a big party there and that was holding the kitchen up. Even with that, it didn't take a ton of time to get our dinner. We took dessert to go, bread pudding and it was fab!
