I've been to this location and 110 numerous times but I never tried there brunch. It was my first time. I must say it was pretty good. It was during Easter . Wasn't overly busy, our waitress was awesome!! The food was pretty good. Just a tad bit salty on both dishes. The spinach was salty and the potato cake that had the short rib over it, was salty as well. Besides that we had a nice brunch . The calamari is always the best!

Great new restaurant! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Came in with a large party of 12 people, on a holiday and had several people with allergies. They were fantastic! Food came out within 30 min of ordering (for everyone). Everything was excellent. Only downside is it is a bit pricy.

Completely different experience today than we've had in the past. Saturday lunchtime around 12:45pm and it was pretty empty, emptiest we've ever seen. We sat with our dirty menu's, I get they are a thicker cardstock paper but all of them were dirty and really appear to be worn. Our server was also the bartender on and was managing multiple tables and sections. The staff appeared very life by comparison in the past. When we finally ordered, our server was pleasant and attentive. The problem was with the "manager" who doesn't appear to have experience with expediting as well as a 2 person kitchen staff that was literally not communicating. Something is very off either the staff/management and it's ultimately trickling down to the quality of service/food quality. We were seated by the open kitchen and first hand watched as items just sat. Literally, just sat and not for like 1-2 minutes, clocked some items sitting for over 10 minutes. In particular was one of our meals, the kitchen staffs timing way off and the manager refused to let staff bring plates out. In particular, we had two children, what manager/expeditor doesn't bring out kids food first if it's ready. This isn't fine dining, but everything fell flat today and when I sent back the room temperature grill cheese and soup that sat for 9 minutes, we got a pathetic "sorry". By the time my meal came out, everyone was finished. Disaster and they only had 12 tables which is pretty pathetic. We won't make any effort to drive back out there, disappointed as it was one of our favorite family restaurants.

We recently ate at this location in Southington, CT and it was awesome. All four meals were absolutely tasty, savory and made from scratch with our gluten and dairy sensitivities in mind. It's rare that you get a 4 for 4 from our group. Two of us, who are not gluten or dairy sensitive , absolutely found the meals to be incredible. I had the macaroni and pulled pork with fried string onions as a topper. It was amazing. One of our party had the shrimp scampi, and she stated that it was amazing. The gluten and dairy sensitive guests both had the fish and chips and each received rave ratings. Our server was Christian, and he was a great personality, responsive, and educated on food sensitivities. This restaurant focuses on anyone of their patrons who have food sensitivities and they aim to please. They state directly on the menu that every core menu item can be made in a gluten sensitive manner. I've never seen a restaurant that has such a lofty mission for its food sensitive guests. Great atmosphere, awesome quality menu items that are very tasty, and excellent and educated staff. A++ Experience.

Prosciutto wrapped cod, broccoli and parmesan risotto in lemon butter sauce

Had dinner recently with some friends. Our server Rebecca was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. My friends have allergies (gluten) and they enjoyed their meals. I ordered the prosciutto wrapped cod and side salad. It was excellent, the broccoli side was cooked perfectly and the lemon butter sauce was delicious. The cod was cooked well as was the prosciutto. The parmesan risotto was plentiful. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating as well. Would recommend and return for future visits to try other menu items.

Where to start. As always we want to try something different and we gave this place a try. Oh my. The place is so cozy. We sat right in front of the kitchen. And I was mesmerized watching the cooks move around and making the dishes. the food was really really goodI asked Jordan ( our amazing waitress) to recommend one of two dishes ( shrimp scampi vs Gnocchi) not every place that serves gnocchi actually makes good gnocchi. OMG she nailed it. It was perfect the rest of the dishes were yummy also, everybody was happy The only thing THAT TAKES 1 away is that they leave the dishes under the burner for to long and food gets cold, I had to ask mine to be warmed up but other than that PERFECT

I had a great pistachio martini at 110 Grill tonight. Elijah's service at the bar was attentive and engaging. Highly recommend 110 Grill!

I ordered the hot honey chicken. It did have a little bite to it. I wish it did have some more honey on it. My son ordered the ribeye. He very much enjoyed it and I believe my daughter-in-law order this 110 signature burger gluten-free. She also enjoyed it.. This was my first time in this location. Definitely has a large place. The ambience is nice. Our server was friendly.

We were looking for a dinner spot on a Saturday night after being at Lake Compounce. We'd passed by on the way to the park and commented that it looked new and we should go sometime. We called from the park and they had no wait so headed over and they brought us right to a table even though they were busy. All the food was really good, portions large, and prices decent. Would definitely come back.

Tonight I sat at the bar. The bar is horseshoe shaped and a decent size. It was very understaffed for a Saturday night. There was only one person working behind the bar. She seems to be doing okay but service was slow due to the amount of people and the understaffing. The cocktail was very bittersweet not the best one I've had but the bartender was very kind to replace it with something else when I didn't like it. The wine was actually really good and she gave kind of a heavy poor. The flatbread was tasty and the menu has a bunch of good choices. There's a decent amount of seating inside the outside seating was closed but it seemed like there was a good amount of seating out there along with the fireplace but it was raining today. The bathroom has a nice little station with paper towels and menu options.

This restaurant offers a menu of mixed items. I had the fig and goat cheese flatbread. I've had several other items on the menu, and everything is pretty good. The bar is a large horshoe that seats roughly 20 people. My biggest complaint with this place is the service. I have never sat at a table, but every time I've been at the bar, it's been understaffed. The bartender tonight was fantastic and doing everything (bar service, service bar and clean up). She was lovely and hustling, but the service was slow because she was handling so much on her own. I like the place and atmosphere, but be prepared to wait. I will definitely keep going!

I went here for my sister's surprise birthday dinner . There was 12 of us all ordering drinks and food. The main reason we went there was for the gluten free menu for my sister. They have a full gluten free menu and they say they can make anything on tbt menu . They also have deserts . I had the gluten free sweet potato fries that were good. My sister ordered the vegetable stirfry with gluten-free pasta. She thought it was amazing. She thought the pasta was very good and didn't seem gluten-free to her. They take the gluten-free allergy very seriously. Only the manager can bring out the gluten-free food and it comes with a little flag in the food designating it gluten free. I tasted a friend's fried pickles that were very good as well. I had the pesto pasta that was very tasty and I was happy with. I wish I took more pictures of everyone's food, but I only took a picture of my own. The staff were very nice and very accommodating. I look forward to going again. They had two menu items that were on entrees that were considered vegetarian and one item that could to be vegan.

Finally got a chance to check out 110 Grill in Southi ngton on Mothers Day. First of all, call ahead and make reservations. This place is BUSY during breakfast/lunch time. Luckily, a table did free up, but we could have waited a while. It was PACKED. We got seated at a high top booth near the order counter. I ordered the breakfast burger, which had an egg in the mix. It was very good. The fries they give you kind of resemble the McDonalds look, and they put them in a little mini cast iron dish. They give you just enough to be satisfied but not so much that all you see on your plate is fries (you all know what I'm talking about). It had a good visual look when the burger and fries arrived at my table. The only issue I had was that since I was so close to the order counter, I could hear conversations between all the staff. For better or worse. Also, the menu size is underwhelming. I was hoping for more options to choose from. Burgers are my safe word when the menu isn't diverse or broad enough as it's common to have a decent one and always good to get a great one. It was a delicious burger, so that worked out. Maybe the menu was smaller for Mothers Day to avoid food delays. I'm not sure, but I was disappointed. I would come again if asked. Would probably request a different seating area and hope the options open up on a non-holiday.

It is way more spacious than their previous location and nicely decorated. We sat in a nice Modular Half Moon Restaurant Sofa in the back. Felt like I was looking down upon the rest of the guests having dinner. Nice table just felt a bit like we were on display however I still enjoyed as I love the style of these tables. Our waiter I think was new and definitely did not know wine. We asked for a bottle of the Merlot, which he pronounced back to us "Mer-LOT." I couldn't help but chuckle a bit when he left the table. Someone else came and opened the wine for us and when our main server came to check on us, he grazed the side of my glass and freaked, telling us the glasses are $500 each and if he breaks one, it comes out of his paycheck. Ummm what? This stuff we probably should not know! Again, I think he was new, probably not having much experience as a waiter. He definitely needs training on how to pronounce wine! Moving on to the cheese, they used to give you a cheese board with a few different cheeses. It's a bit different now. They give you whipped butter, a few pieces of cheese (last night was Cheddar), roasted red peppers, and whipped goat cheese with a touch of honey on top and some bread. Not sure if this changes/rotates at their new location. We chose not to do the raw bar or appetizer courses (fyi those are extra). For my salad, I chose the Signature Salad (forgot to take a picture of this course). This is where things went downhill for me. I asked for no apples. He said no problem. He did not tell us they ran out of the dried cranberries and caramelized nuts which to me make the whole salad. I used to love this salad at the old location. So, when telling us the specials he did say he "thinks" they had one salmon entree left, but had to check. Restaurants run out of things, and I get it, but take that salad off the menu if you're out of 2 ingredients and the customer asks for no apples. All that we got on our salads was lettuce, gorgonzola and fried potato skins. I feel like I had French fries on top of lettuce. It was awful. Also, I'm the only one that asked for no apples and my boyfriend got the same salad I got with only potato skins and lettuce and gorgonzola so clearly they were running out of things. We then saw other customers getting the same salad lacking main ingredients. For my entree, I got the Heavenly, which was supposed to have a lobster sauce. I couldn't put my finger on what the flavor of the sauce was. It was strange. It wasn't bad, it just didn't really go with the lobster. It had a brown tint to it. The manager came over after we ate and asked us how things were, and I told him about the salad and asked what the flavor in the sauce was. He told us a crab style sauce which made sense. Boyfriend had the filet. He said it wasn't Ruth's Chris good, but it was good. Mashed potatoes were very bland. Presentation was pretty bad. Dessert they get from a third party. I had the flourless chocolate cake which was the best part of the meal. Desserts are where they have improved with the new location. They used to give you petit fours style desserts, and now they give you full size desserts. It was delicious. I really want to like this place more because I like the concept of what they do. I guess on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays the chef creates whatever he'd like for guests for $25 a head. Mystery meals. The manager said that's where the name "Adventures in Eating" comes from. Again, we had come here previously, and I had a problem the last time with the Branzino where the waitress didn't tell me it came as the whole fish. Servers are friendly here, they just aren't top notch. Food is ok.

Upon arriving we'd realized we'd eaten at this restaurant before (when it was in a different location) and eaten in this building before (when it was a different business). My wife and I split a wagyu burger and The Craft Pie. The burger we believe we got someone else's, it was missing the espresso aioli and prosciutto jam. It wasn't until we finished it that we realized it was way different than we expected. The pizza was excellent however. As I walked through the front doors, I noticed kegs alongside on the floor. This was kind of a turn off, kind of reminds me of a dive bar. So my mentality kicked in that we were going into a dive bar serving food. I kinda get the sketchy feeling. Once we were seated, and menus placed, we were served iced water A few minutes later, the server came back and took our order. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and some string french fries. I ordered the 1/2 smoked chicken, which came with two sides. I chose the rattlesnake beans and the creamy macaroni and cheese. Also include included was cornbread I originally wanted the street corn, as a side, but it was not available. Our lunches came quick, and my friend only ate half the french fries and cheeseburger, as she wasn't really turned on by them. The smoked chicken was fairly dry, with a very interesting smoked flavor to it that I can't put my finger on. I eat about 1/3 of it. Left the rest on the plate. The creamy macaroni and cheese was out of bounds top-notch. I could've eaten this all day. The rattlesnake rice and beans were just OK. The rice was cooked pretty good, and was seasoned well. The beans had a weird taste. Now thinking of this side dish, I was hoping for raw onions to be on top, but they were nowhere to be found. It'll be nice if there was chopped raw onions to go with this. The cornbread was delicious. I ate about half of it. It was a generous slice. While the server was fairly attentive, as she only checked in to fill the water glasses and ask how lunch was. She didn't ask us if we wanted a desert or coffee. Being old folks this would've been a great up for us, but it didn't happen. I had to ask for the check. I'm not sure if I would come back. I think this might be a one and done. The vibe just didn't hit it for me. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant was clean; the silverware clean. I don't know. It just was like a funky type layout and those beer kegs kinda sent the wrong tone to me as a guest. Lunch for the two of us was $40 and change and I left a $10 tip. We didn't have any cocktails or mock tails, we didn't have coffee or dessert either. From what I understand, the owner was near the exit when we left, not even a smile or a thank you for coming in...

Fantastic place! It was my 1st time there but will not be my last! I had the short rib quesadilla…read morefrom their daily special menu and baked potato soup. Both were outstanding. I had to bring home half the quesadilla because it was full of a lot of meat. My husband raved about his boneless short rib entree and mushroom soup. Our server Jessica C was awesome. So friendly and attentive. Can't wait to try other items...everything looked good...it was hard to choose.

The restaurant had been on my radar for quite a while as I had somehow found you in my Instagram…read morefeed and I had wanted to try it for the longest time, but since it was so out of the way for me, I had no idea as to when I would ever try it. Then came this past Thanksgiving weekend where it required traveling on I-84 from Cape Cod to get to Danbury and my mom, sister and I decided to try you out. Now, I am in the dog house because they want to know when the next time that we are going. I had the chicken club and it was absolutely delicious. A huge piece of chicken with plenty of flavor. My sister had the short rib sandwich and was raving about it once we continued our drive saying she was so glad she had it even though she had short ribs herself for dinner the previous night. I don't know if that's an indictment on her cooking or what, but she loved it. The star however was the cod dinner that mom had. It was one of the flakiest and freshest pieces of fish she had ever had. We got a very late start to our trip, so by the time 2:00 came on the Saturday afternoon came, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The only gripe that we had ( not that we necessarily would have changed anything ) was that we noticed after we ordered that the table next to us got a specials menu and we didn't. It was nice and quiet as our waitress let us have a quiet late lunch and if we were ever in the area ever again, we would make a b-line back to the restaurant.
