DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM…read more He initially told me that one bottle of coolant and the part we supplied were all he needed. Once the process started, he called me down from my house and told me I would need to pay for another bottle of coolant just to test whether his work was complete. That was odd because we had already supplied him with a full bottle. We refused, but he still went to the store. While he was at the register, he called us and told us the total, as if we hadn't already declined to send him to the store. After he claimed he was finished, he knocked on my door and told me he had locked his keys in his car and had left his equipment in MY CAR. He then asked if he could wait inside my house while his wife drove 30 minutes to bring him another set of keys. At that point, my house was not in the right condition for someone to be waiting inside, so this was extremely uncomfortable and honestly a huge inconvenience. Once his wife finally arrived, he came back and said that he felt he wasn't paid enough for the job he had done. At that point, I was already extremely uncomfortable and frustrated with the entire situation. Then, to make matters worse, I started finding loose bolts in the corner of my car that were supposed to be on the water pump. When I asked him about the bolts, he said he had purchased new ones because he didn't have enough of the correct bolts to finish the job. However, after he went to the store--which we never agreed to send him to--he came back claiming that he had the correct amount of bolts all along. What really pissed me off was that he left my car jacked up IN HOUSTON, OF ALL PLACES, with the engine exposed. AND NOW, LESS THAN TWO MONTHS LATER, THE WATER PUMP IS STILL LEAKING COOLANT. The exact issue we paid to have repaired has not been resolved. With all the confusion throughout this entire process, I honestly don't understand how we could be accused of shorting him when the original agreement was completely different. It's WAY too hot in Texas for people to be spending their hard-earned money and still not have the problem resolved. I paid for a service, and I expect the work to be completed correctly and my vehicle to be left in the condition it was supposed to be in. It hasn't even been a full two months since he last worked on my car, and we are STILL dealing with a leaking water pump.

He didn't finish and said he would be back. A month ago. A month of me calling and texting with no response. Meanwhile I have front coil overs that were never adjust properly and a loud clunk from one of them. I would assume at this point he is just ghosting next because he doesn't want to finish the job that I paid him for. Unless I hear back from him with a good explanation of why he couldn't use the phone for a month, I'll leave this review up as a warning for others. Second update: Miraculously the day after I posted the previous update, Jay contacted me. The months worth of text messages and calls weren't enough I guess. He said he was sick and would let me know when he would be able to come by. It's coming up on a month since that message and still no contact from him. Not even after I asked if he couldn't finish the work to just tell me. It's a shame that it got to this point, he seemed reputable at first. But now I'm stuck with a half assed job that I need to take somewhere else to get finished. To give you an example, I just got my rear rotors replaced. I went to Meineke first, and they quoted me at $350 (parts, labor, whatever else these companies add on). Tony quoted me at far less than that (almost half). The only downfall is that this place is CASH AND CHECK only. But that's how he keeps the costs so low!
