First time here I was blown away a line this long can seem unbelievable at first but it actually sped up pretty fast. (to my surprise.) confusing at first I ordered normal not to sweet- honey peppermint (extra honey) on mine. It was Perfect. Something about their milk teas taste so good and authentic vs Any other boba spot. It taste more "fresh" if that even makes sense. Hands down my fave boba spot. The long line is annoying. I know. However, if you go before everyone gets out of school, you can get in with a super short line. I personally like to order a rose litchi black tea with honey boba, and it's always great. I wouldn't advise that you get milk teas since they don't use real milk...they use coffeemate. But if you didn't know they used that, you wouldn't know the difference. The only downside in general is how pricey it is for a boba tea drink. read more

So I live around the corner from this place and ever since the day T-Pumps has opened it has had a line that has wrapped outside the door and down the sidewalk at times. It's always overflowing with people the place has to be making a fortune. After a year or so I decided to finally try them out. There are a few boba places within walking distance so I wasn't expecting much. The place inside is nice and very clean. The employees are very well spoken and work really really fast. They have to in order to keep up with all the orders. They're very hard workers that's for sure and nice too. The teas seem to be more customizable than the other tea places but this place has much fewer choices. Overall it was a nice treat to have and I really enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone near by. read more

I love the fact that you can mix the flavors and choose the exact sweetness you want. The drinks are delicious. My favorite is a strawberry lychee passion fruit black milk tea in light sweet. My only concern is that they don't put enough boba in the extra large drinks. read more

I came to this place recently with my sister. It had very good boba and unusual flavors which was nice to see. I got the mango peach milk tea boba lightly sweetened which was very good and had a lot of flavor. I like the fact that they give you an option of having a base of green tea or black tea, I chose green tea because of the mango and peach. I would definitely recommend coming here. read more

Excellent boba texture and wonderful tea flavoring. I love customization ability and that the menu is laid out in such a way that doesn't leave you completely overwhelmed with the possibilities. One of the best milk tea place in the Bay Area! There's always a long line but it's worth it. I always stick with my all time favorite: rose peach green milk tea with boba. Their boba is really consistent, always chewy and fresh. The syrup tastes pretty natural and not as artificial compared to most of the other milk tea places. I like how you can adjust the level of sweetness, although I usually stick with regular sweetness. If you don't like your drink, they will adjust it for you. A big plus for their service. read more

I am addicted to boba tea! This is my favorite place to go and they are quite affordable. You can choose 3 flavors for your tea I personally get strawberry, peach Carmel, and there are so many ways to customize your order, for example you can get different levels of sweetness and you can choose different types of milk or no milk at all. You can get hot tea or cold with boba and they always have an array of different colored straws. They are always happy to remake your drink without any charge if they got your order wrong. Overhyped. The drinks are good, but not great. Definitely not worth the hour wait. Yes, I waited one hour for boba! Ridiculous. This place did just open, so the lines will probably die down over time. You can mix and match flavors here which I thought was kinda neat. I ordered a peach mango milk tea and it was a little watery for my taste. I've heard that the San Mateo location is way better, but I don't think I'll be coming back to this one. read more

I finally got to try Tpumps without the line outside the door. Came here on a Tuesday night so no long lines. I got the pom honey green tea with boba, normal sweet. It was delicious and refreshing without being overly sweet. The boba was soft and smooth without being chewy. The green milk tea was also good and light. The prices are decent and I will definitely be back to try their other tea drinks!!! read more

I love milk tea so I'm rating this place specifically for that. Drink seemed a little too sweet since I ordered "lightly sweet". Taro flavor came through and tasted pretty natural. But my milk tea was not so milky at all. Tasted like if you bought an iced latte or iced coffee with cream in it and got to the bottom of it where the ice melts and dilutes it. As far as cream-taste factor, that's what that tasted like. Watery milk *shudder* But then I read another yelper's review and they mentioned their use of creamer and then I remembered seeing an entire rack of creamer cans stacked on there in the back room behind the register. BINGO. That's why it tastes like that. Milk tea should have real dairy like from a carton or a milk bottle if we're getting fancy (Strauss Creamery anyone?) in it. To my understanding this place is always packed and pretty over hyped. The boba was good but the teas need to be a little stronger. I recommend that you ask the cashier to mix your drink because you cannot go wrong with that. I recommend you go if you don't see any people coming out of the establishment or else you will be waiting for a very long time. read more

This place is nothing like the one in San Mateo. Bad customer service, and really poor quality. I feel like I have to expect a different taste every time even though I always order the same drink. So the taste is bad, the service is slow, and you can see the store is badly managed. Feels like the quality is getting worse by the day, and with the worsened service, they've even raised the price. For the bad quality control and customer service, you deserve this one-star rating! I always order their peach mango black tea, no milk, and "light sweet" because their "normal" is just too much. This is my very first time going to the T. I must say this is the first boba place to make me wait for a sip of sweet soft drink. It was not so bad since there was a lady passing out samples of the brand new honey lemon flavor boba. It was quite tasty. I have been to many boba shops all over the city and I must say that Tpumps definitely trumps them all and tops the list. They have such a great array of flavours of tea - offering both green and black tea. They also allow you to mix three flavours together - I tried mango, strawberry, and peach with honey boba. It is great - because their tea is light and not too heavy or rich. A downside to their drinks, however, is that there is so little boba compared to the ratio of liquid. But their boba is made to perfection and they are quick - so the seemingly long line you wait in goes by fast, as does your wait for your drink. Definitely will be returning to Tpumps for the next time I want boba. Another down side is that it can be difficult to find parking in the area, so be prepared to drive a bit to find a spot. read more

On Irving there are many places where you can get bubble tea, but none of them offer as many options as this place. I like the fact that you can choose the amount of sweetness in your drink since I am not a big fan of very sweet drinks. I also like the number of flavors they offer: my favorite so far is the litchi peppermint milk green tea with litchi popping BOBA. It was really good and the price is really affordable. This boba place was very popular when it first opened and is still pretty popular. I've only been here a few times, and the first time I did not like the drink. I ordered a regular sweet black milk tea with their honey boba. I don't know what it was, but there was something a little off about the tea, but the boba tasted pretty good. The next few times I ordered the vanilla rose green milk tea which tasted really good, but was a little too sweet, so now I know to get it a little less sweet next time. This is a pretty nice place because there are many type of variations of drinks, so if you like a lot of choices, I recommend that you come here. read more

I'm from SoCal, so trying "NorCal Boba" is new to me. I had their Blackberry Rose black tea with boba and it was truly amazing. I can say its the best tea I've had.
