The island dream is one of their premium blends that is better than a strawberry milkshake! It has mango, strawberry & pineapple. It's all blended with their tru coconut açaí base & coconut milk! The strawberry mash adds some good texture & and nice surprise when drinking it. It is topped with coconut & blue spirulina. It is located in a shopping mall center right across of chase. I want to start by saying I love these bowls. The concept of the business and the menu, love it. But after the experience my daughter and I had today, I just gotta point attention at this Monrovia location. I've been here 3 times in the past couple months. Each time there's 2 to 3 people working and not one acknowledges that someone came in. You're left standing there waiting for someone to say anything and they don't so you sit down and wait. Today my daughter and I decided we'd order ahead so we could just pick it up and not deal with ordering there. Same thing of course. We get there and there's 2 girls working on a couple bowls that belong to the man sitting, waiting. Ok cool. We've been standing here long enough that they had to have noticed us but are busy making his order so we sit down. 5-10min later they give this guy his order and then ask if anyone has taken our order. I let her know we already ordered online and were here to pick up and gave her my name. She then pulls a bag out of the little sliding fridge there and hands it to me. Cool. I get back to my car and find my bowl is all swirled up and everything's sunken in. I open it to find its completely melted. Mind you, my daughters is perfect. She ordered a customized and I picked off the menu. I can only assume mine had already been made well before I ordered and was left out and melted and then when I ordered they just grabbed that one and put it in the bag. So Id give 1 star for service, 5 stars for what the food is supposed to be, balancing out at 3 for fairness. But legitimately writing this review because im pissed that after trying to push through the bad service for my tasty bowl, they managed to ruin my bowl. Bad service at Monrovia location. read more

I was so excited to try this Açaí location, so much so I drove from Pasadena bypassing a lot of other places. The young man that took my order was nice, but spoke so low I was struggling to hear him. The line started to form so I decided on the Buttah Lova. When the girl started making my bowl (mind you it's my very first time and they have a lot of options. I was excited!) I told her oh I want some coconut base with my Açaí, I didn't realize y'all had that! She responded saying that I'd have to change my order at the register because it's a custom bowl. I said it's no price difference so I'm confused. She repeated that it was a custom bowl. I said okay just forget it then, she says I'll put it this time but I'm letting you know it's a custom bowl. At that point all excitement left and I was irritated because uh?! Why I'm I going back and forth with you over something I paid for and have to be the one to eat it? AND there was no price difference! She continues making my bowl and I realized that regular coconut flakes and almonds go on the Buttah Lova I didn't want that so I told her extra toasted coconut flakes and no regular and no almonds. She rolled her eyes and said is there anything else you don't want? I said yup no chocolate drizzle. When she finished she put a lid on my bowl and sat it on the counter and walked away. Didn't ask if I wanted a bag, napkins were no where to be found, and I grabbed my own spoon. I asked for napkins and she had a problem with that as well, I left! Let me tell you how the bowl wasn't even good. Lacked flavor and sweetness altogether. I'd most likely never return. Customer service is a big deal for me and I don't want to feel like I have to argue with someone to have my food prepared the way I'd like especially when that's literally the concept of an Açaí bowl! read more
