I figured my best bet would be to ask instead of wandering aimlessly in search of an empty hook where face masks once lived. I walked up to the service counter where a male and female employee were standing. Morgan greeted me and asked if he could help me. I responded 'probably not, im looking for masks.' The female just responded 'no' and went back to the computer. I looked at Morgan and asked if he may have an idea of something else I could use like a banana. He motioned me to follow him and told me we were going to check all the spots he knew of. No luck at the first spot, then he headed for a secret spot and FOUND ME TWO PACKS OF MASKS! If Morgan wasn't such an awesome and helpful associate I'd be eating coal slag for lunch. Assistance like that is more valuable than gold. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a customer service experience we had this morning at the VIP Petcare clinic inside Pet Supermarket on North Decatur Road. Yes Folks Tractor Supply owns VIP Petcare. We arrived with our two St. Bernards for their scheduled wellness services. Knowing that managing two large dogs in a crowded line can be challenging, we brought one dog inside while the other remained in the car. We had preregistered before arriving, as instructed. After waiting in line for approximately 45 minutes, with about six customers ahead of us, we finally reached the front of the line. At that point, I went to bring in our second dog. Amanda immediately and very rudely informed me that I could not do that. She then asked whether we had an appointment. I explained that we had preregistered but had never been given an appointment time. Amanda then instructed us to leave the line, return to our car, and wait for a text message before coming back inside. I asked her to explain why, after waiting in line for over 45 minutes, we were now expected to leave our place and wait elsewhere. Rather than providing a clear explanation, Amanda became rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. She stated that she was going to refuse us service because, according to her, I was not looking at her while she was speaking. At the time, I was trying to safely manage two St. Bernards in a crowded line. She repeatedly demanded that I look at her, despite the obvious challenge of handling two large dogs. I have been bringing my pets to VIP Petcare for approximately 12 to 15 years, and I have never experienced this level of discourtesy or confusion. The entire process was contradictory: we were instructed to preregister, then wait in line, and after waiting for nearly an hour, we were told to leave the line and wait for a text message because this was supposedly the "new process." If this is indeed the new procedure, I would appreciate an explanation of the purpose of preregistration and why customers are still expected to wait in line only to be told to leave it. More importantly, I hope you will address Amanda's conduct. Customers should be treated with respect, especially those who have been loyal to VIP Petcare for many years. I would appreciate a response explaining both the current check-in process and what steps will be taken regarding this incident. Thank you for your attention to this matter. read more

I asked a TSC customer service rep to place an order for a dog kennel over the phone because the website was not able to process it. The next day I get an email the order was canceled. When I log into my account I see that SEVEN orders for the kennel were placed on my card, at more than $1,300 each! And that I am $4k over my credit limit so I can't make any charges. They are all status "pending." I called multiple times to have the 6 extra charges removed, only to be told they had already been canceled but it would take 48 hours to remove from my card. It has been FOUR DAYS and the charges are still there. I spent almost 2 hours being shuffled from TSC Customer Service and Citibank with NOBODY being able to remove the charges. I have a large pit bull who is in my basement laundry room because I HAVE NO KENNEL to put her in. I went to a local TSC and had to use a high-interest credit card to make the purchase just so I could get her out of my laundry room. I find it hard to believe that NO ONE could rectify the situation and allow me to pickup the ONE kennel I ordered. Your customer service is ridiculous. This was NOT my fault, and yet I have lost HOURS of time with NO SATISFACTION. I have been a cardholder for years with a high credit rating. If you want to keep customers SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS! If you read the fine print, where they have you write a review is not through Customer Service. I love my Tractor Supply store in my town. I hate Brentwood, Tn. I went to the store and got dog food and toys for my dogs the first of this week and everyone was so good. I then came home. The next morning I pulled up my bank account and there was this amount 42.69 taken out of my account! I knew I didn't get anything so I called the store and the manager checked and said they didn't put that on. I told her it came from Brentwood and she said that was the main store and I would have to call them. So I did. Then the trouble with them started. I told them what happened and they said I had signed up for the delivery. I said no I didn't and I didn't want anything. So they were very polite and said they would cancel the order and put in for a refund to me. I said is that going to be put back in my account today, he said no, it would take 4or5 days! I got upset and explained I am with Social Security and can't wait for them to give it back. He goes and talks to his supervisor and then says he can get it to me that day. So far it has been 2 days and the money has been taken out of my account!!! I called and got a girl, who was very nice, and she checked and said that she could see that they had canceled the order and had refunded the money. I said it had just come out of my account and I didn't have it. So, she put me on hold and came back and told me the. same crap they had told me in the start!!!!! I was very angry, not with her, with the supervisor, I told her it was the same crap the supervisor pulled and I was totally disgusted with him. This has been one of my favorite stores to visit repeatedly. I always find it to be convenient to our home and for the items that I need around the farm. However, on two occasions now I have visited and the propane machine has been down. This is troublesome, especially since many people need a propane refill for winter heat or holiday cooking. I ordered a Troy Bilt Big Red Tiller on 4/13/25 and had my local store assemble it and test it before I picked it up. I picked the tiller up on 4/26/25 and on 4/27/25 used it for 1/2 an hour before the transmission locked up. There was no gear oil in the transmission. Where do I begin... Tractor Supply website refused to process a "ship to" order even though it was an option, the transaction kept declining. It would only go through if I selected "pick up" instead. I cancelled the order because I found a different company that was willing to ship me the items. Customer service told me they would cancel and refund the pick up order. They cancelled the order but did not refund me, instead they DUPLICATED the charges multiple times over several weeks. I called customer service and they said they are unable to refund me even though they know the charges are not legitimate, they told me that it's better if I call my bank to report it as fraud in order to get a refund because Tractor Supply is unable to issue refunds. No one in customer support was able to help me, I had called multiple times over the course of weeks. I called my local Tractor Supply store and they said in order to process a refund, I had to go to in in person with all the documentation and meet with customer service on-site. This is insane. So I called my bank and had to report the charges as fraud in order to get refunded on the cancelled orders and the duplicated charges for the cancelled orders. My bank also blocked Tractor Supply from ever charging my credit card ever again since they made a total of 5 illegitimate charges totaling $600. It appears the BBB website is down right now, but as soon as it is functional again, I will also be filing a complaint against Tractor Supply there as well. I recommend never ordering anything from the Tractor Supply website, and never give them your credit card info! Anything you buy from them would need to be in person, paying in cash. read more

I must admit, that in the beginning, I wasn't sure what was going on with my online order. This Tracker Supply Company store is out of Brentwood Tennessee. I placed it and paid for it on October 31st. The bank check cleared on 11/01. A week had passed without any word at all about my purchase. So I called them and they could not find it. It was always let me check into that and I'll get back to you and they never did I would end up calling them after a couple days. Finally, one of their employees, Carol, said to me check with your bank. I checked with my bank and they said that the company had canceled and refunded my order on 11/07. I had no idea and apparently Tractor Supply Company had no idea either that this had happened. Anyway, one of the supervisors sent me an email apologizing for this non-communication from the company that built the gazebo. All in all the employees did try to help me but I could not see that because I was upset I thought it was a scam because I hadn't heard anything. But in the end it worked out great. I recently made an online purchase from Tractor Supply. One of the items I ordered was a pair of cowboy boots. The heel fell off the second time they were worn (it was only attached by a couple of staples. To make matters worse they double charged my card for these. I called customer service, spoke with 3 different people over 2 hours on the phone. Finally got a supervisor (Kenna) who said a replacement would be sent and I did not need to return them, just email a picture to them showing they were not wearable (which I did). As to the overcharge, she said it was a problem with their billing dept. and that it had happened to several others. She said she would take care of getting it refunded. I did get the replacement boots but did not receive the refund. I emailed the company (to her attention) about this but got no reply. Tractor Supply has an in-store partner that, in my opinion, is running a bait and switch scam. VIP Pet Care, a veterinarian service that sets up shop inside PetSense, a Tractor Supply company. If I could give it a zero I would. On their website they list a 5-in-1 vaccine for dogs, at package prices of $110 and $119. Nowhere in the descriptions for these service packages does it say 'does not include rabies'. I went there thinking I would pay $110, with no earthly clue that 5-in-1 would not include rabies. Google search shows the top 5 vaccinations for dogs, and lists rabies as #1. I doubt I'm the only one who looked at '5-in-1' and simply assumed it included rabies. Additionally, nowhere in the descriptions does it ever state what the '5' means. They do not list the supposedly 5 vaccines customers get with those packages. When I was checking in (they started 20 minutes later than the advertised time), I was told (lo and behold) neither the $110 or $119 packages included rabies. I would have to buy the rabies separate, or go with the $139 package. Huge ripoff, and they know exactly what they're doing. The local 'supervisor' is the one who changed the pricing in real time, and it seemed as if she knew what she was doing. I ordered a 20 gun safe on November 27, 2021. The company has never contacted me to see about my lost product. I have always been the one to contact them. It was in Sacramento ca for a month while it was not getting delivered all due to the fact the distribution center didn't not have my phone number. They then missed placed it. Tractor supply tried refunding my money but that's not what I wanted because I bought the item on sale. All I wanted was a safe. They even tried telling me it got delivered but I had been home the whole time and I never received the item. January 7, they finally agreed to send another one out. Again I have not heard from them. Once TSC has your email address they will send you up to two email ads every day. They ignore the 'unsubscribe' feature they offer at the end. There is no escape, although the BBB website for Brentwood TN has had some succes for the many complainants. If you must give Tractor Supply an email address, use a throw away and make sure all correspondence from you is sent from that address. If you're already getting spammed from them, I fortunately discovered my provider Protonmail.com has a language called 'sieve' that easily lets you block email from spammers. So I have blocked TSC, complained to BBB and blocked a source of more email scams, everything from gmail. Notify the Brentwood BBB and file a complaint with the FTC, Federal Trade Commission. read more

Not sure what is going on with Tractor Supply, but it is not good. They can't or won't handle a problem in person. They have a message on their phone saying that you have the right number, but they are not answering the phone right now.....and they don't take a message. I left a review saying how disappointed I was in this poor customer service. They DID take the time to answer this correspondence just to say that it didn't meet with there "community guidelines". I'm guessing pretty much any complaint doesn't "meet" their "guidelines" because there was nothing even remotely inappropriate about anything that I wrote. Of course there was no mention of my problem. My problem is this: I placed an order online. I never received a notice that it had arrived in the store. Instead, I got a notice saying that I needed to come pick it up ASAP, or they were sending it back. I traveled 30 minutes to pick it up only to be told there was no record of the purchase. Upon arriving home, I checked again and found that it HAD been delivered to this store, so I tried to call......Hence, the review. She is an older lady, pushes things off shelves, blocks customers and tells them to go around her, tells employees that they are in her area and in her way and to leave. Well, Tractor Supply Customer Service continues it's downward spiral in incompetency. I have lost count of the number of times I have called and been met with a different response and the assurance everything is taken care of, only to receive another message with an entirely different story. Each time I am given a "case number," now too many to keep track of and it doesn't matter because each "case number" is a separate response that has no bearing on previous "case numbers." And when insisting that the customer service rep look up the history so they know what is going on, but when they do, the history is completely inaccurate and no reflection of what has actually taken place, and I am tired of trying to explain things over and over again. I cannot believe the level of incompetency. Never ever would I purchase anything online from Tractor Supply. So now I'm waiting for Tractor Supply to pick up the extensively damaged wood stove that they shipped to me as it sits in the front of my house, and it will soon be two weeks since I received the stove and no assurance whatsoever it will be picked up, instead a puzzling email telling me I should negotiate with a Tractor Supply store, no matter that I reminded I did not purchase the stove from a store I purchased it online and previous customer service reps had assured me the stove would be picked up by the carrier who delivered the damaged stove. It is pure insanity at this point. Customer service could not have gotten this transaction more screwed up if they tried, the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing , no continuity, no follow-up, no follow through, no attention to detail, no comprehension, just vague promises of what might happen but in fact does not happen; the persistent failure to comprehend what has actually occurred and what needs to happen. I had ordered a gate for my newly built fence for my dog yard. TSC sent me a box with a dog kennel instead of a gate. I caled their customer service on 11/13/21 to return the dog kennel and get the gate that I had ordered. Today is 11/30 and I haven't heard from anyone. I called customer service again and got the same routine; "someone will call you". I explained that this gate is essential because #1 my propane tank is located in the dog yard (which is fenced in waiting for gate), #2 I live in the N.E. mountains and soon the ground will freeze so that the gate cannot be installed until Spring. The customer service rep. gave me the number of the shipping company so that I could try to expedite the pick up of dog kennel and send the gate. Unfortunately, just like the dog kennel, he gave me the number for Lowe's shipping Co. I had to order another gate because time is a factor and now TSC has payments for both gates; the one they never sent and the new one! Obviously this company is running on very low fuel!
