This is Son. He was killed by Tracy Animal Shelter.

I am giving 1 star cause it wont let me give 0. This place is terrible. Please dont ever serrender your animal here unless you want it dead. These people have lost any remourse they might have had for animals. It doesnt bother them just to put an animal even someones pet to sleep. Everyone of them needs to be fired and new caring people need to be hired. The only good thing about this place are the volunteers. They are the ones who should be getting paid. They took our family pet and killed him even though they knew we were looking for him. The people if tracy need to stop this. Its a killing ground for our pets. Thank you and JUSTICE FOR SON.

Here's our boy Rico 2 weeks after adoption.

Just adopted the sweetest kitten! Super chill and super loving, however he did have worms. I wish they spayed/neutered prior to picking out your kitten. We adopted and couldn't pick him up until the following week after his neuter. If you do decide to adopt a feline from here, be prepared to bring your own box. I wasn't told this and totally showed up empty handed, thinking they would provide the box, so he was sent home in a filing box lol. I did want to see the dogs however you need to scan a code and search through photos and I didn't find that too appealing.

I volunteer in this shelter for the past 15 years. They moved into this new place at paradise recently. It's so much nicer and cleaner. All the staff here are very helpful and caring towards animals. Sometimes they do have off days because the job they do is very tough. They have to euthanize animals that are not adopted every now and then. It is going to turn any sane person to become frustrated. The reason I give 4 stars is because of the fact that they are not a no kill shelter.

I guess there was a question about whether we rent or own our house. Mary and Bert had thought we rent the house where we live, but in fact we do own the house (we have one room that is rented out). They assumed we had lied on our application to avoid telling our "landlord" about the dog. WE DO NOT HAVE A LANDLORD!! I AM THE LANDLORD!!! instead of receiving a phone call from Mary and Bert to resolve the confusion like other animal shelters would, we were automatically dismissed. As professionals in their field as they claim, I expected them to act accordingly. It was the WORST experience I have ever had with an animal rescue center. I was not given the opportunity to clear up the confusion, and I felt very unappreciated trying to adopt a dog from them. They drew their own conclusions with the information from the application, without asking the applicant! it is completely unprofessional and arrogant. We happen to be great with animals, and have a mix dog of our own. We love dogs, and we are a great fit for taking in dogs that need a permanent home. This was a very disappointing experience.

We were particularly interested in a doberman puppy and they had a litter currently with them. They brought over 3 puppies and one teenage doberman and we had a massive play session. It was a great opportunity for them to do a home check, as well as see how the puppies feel about us. Mary and Bert were very structured and prepared. Their confidence and professionalism was much appreciated. We fell in love with one of the girls and we adopted her that night! They provided us with a useful packet of information, tips, and all the dog's records. It gave us confidence that their dogs are well taken care of. They still have two dobermans left that we met, Leonard and Robin. Robin is a teenager and Leonard is the brother of our wonderful girl. They were both incredibly sweet and I hope they find homes soon. Any negative reviews are probably stemmed from their strict rules and guidelines for finding the right family. Please understand that they are only looking after the dogs' best interests, ensuring they find forever homes. Give them some love and adopt!

Our dog has had the same treats for the last 3 years. Wiggles and wags Neapolitan flavored cookies. Suddenly he refuses to take them. I shelled them and although my olfactory senses are nothing like his I can detect they no longer smell like a tantalizing great smelling cookie. The strawberry smell (powder) is gone from the pink cookie. The carob cookies smell like burned chemicals and absolutely no carob smell. No as for the vanilla cookie it reeks of a burned flour no taste or smell cookie. I don't blame my special boy. I checked the internet and discovered that PETSMART has taken over several independent treat manufacturers and changed the formulas to meet their cheap money saving interests. Yet the prices remain the same. I would heartily suggest you check all of your treats to verify the healthy original treats you have come to expect. They have most likely outsourced them to a Chinese company to make money at the expense of your pets health. I intend to post this incident to corporate offices. And I am returning alll that I have purchased. Please be careful when buying treats from Petsmart as they obviously do not care.

I brought her in They performed services and prescribed medication. When I paid, I felt very cared for by Sam and Dr. Aman. I had no issues. Easily perfect service, from them and the vet tech who did the work. 5/5* 1 month and 3 days later, I call this business back because I'd like to give them more business- that's what you do when you feel cared for. I'm not gonna bad mouth nobody, but whoever answered today completely turned me off from this place. Sam come train the weekend warrior. You don't tell the customer who states exactly what they want- which is a service you provide, that they have to jump through hoops to get it. (pay for an exam, speak to a doctor and assess if that's what she needs.). I know what my babygirl needs and wanted to go somewhere I thought I could trust. You made me feel like I was talking to a scam artist today. 0/5* My general consensus is that your experience will depend upon the employee you get when you call in. 50/50 for me right now but I'm unsure if I'll bring Kiona back after this call for a routine ear cleaning felt more predatory than caring.

Barkley got razor rash once & had a problem after his anal glads expressed long ago at Pampered Pet which resulted in vet visit both times, but other than those two episodes, I was satisfied and just wrote those two problems off as flukes until....I took my teacup Maltese there last September (2025). His first couple appointments were fine, but the last, he looked terrible, like a different dog. People who saw him afterwards thought it WAS a different dog, an old dog, not my cute little 9 month old Maltese. When I brought him in, I told Michelle I didn't want his face touched much at all, to leave his "mustache" and wanted his ear hair trimmed shorter, like a puppy. Well, they did the exact opposite; they left the ears long and SHAVED his face. He wasn't matted or anything. I paid the bill, including a $20 tip BEFORE they brought him out to me. I was in shock when they handed him to me. I left and on the drive home, I couldn't even look at him. But the more I did, the madder I got. When I got home, I immediately called Michelle and said, "you know I'm not one to complain and never have, but I was furious on the grooming job. That they did the exact opposite of what I asked and that he looked terrible." She said I could bring him back in and they'd trim his ears shorter, like I had asked, but the damage was done. I knew they couldn't glue his cute mustache and whiskers back on. All I saw when I looked at him was a dog that didn't look a thing like my cute 9 month old puppy that I had brought in. I told her I was too mad to bring him back in and I was just furious. She just said oh, okay. No offer of any compensation or anything. I had been a customer for over a decade. His fur, of course, has since grown back and he looks cute again. He is now a year and 5 months old and I take him to Muddy Paws on 10th Street now, where we have been extremely pleased AND they are a little less expensive and we've had much, much better experience every single time and much better cut than he ever had at Pampered Pet. Sorry, but it's the truth. I won't go back there. I don't know if there was miscommunication between Michelle and the groomer or what because I did tell Michelle the cut I wanted: face left alone, only cleaned up a little, leave his mustache/whiskers and trim the ears much shorter and the exact opposite was done. He was the first appointment of the day, maybe she was still half asleep, I don't know.

Our dog Mochi recently started having seizures (two of which happened at Jules Vet) that seem to be caused by anxiety / stress. From the moment we scheduled the appointment, Jules' team was kind, sincere, and incredibly accommodating. When we arrived, someone quickly guided us into a private room, giving us the space and privacy to say our final goodbyes. You could feel the empathy in the room -- the staff genuinely understood how painful this moment was for us. Epic wasn't just a pet; she was part of our family. We spent nearly an hour holding her, reminiscing, and even helping our almost 5-year-old daughter begin to understand the cycle of life and death. The vet was gentle, detailed, and respectful, explaining the process with so much care that it helped ease some of our grief. They gave us the option to keep a piece of Epic with us -- clipping a bit of her fur and offering a keepsake paw print, which arrived a few days later for pick up. It was beautifully done and means so much to us now. While no goodbye is ever perfect, and there are always little things you wish could be different in hindsight, the team at Jules made an impossibly hard day just a little softer. They treated us -- and Epic -- with dignity, patience, and love. We weren't just another family. Epic wasn't just another dog. Thank you, Jules Vet, for helping us say goodbye in the most caring way possible.
