My first time to get my Ford SUV serviced and 2 recalls to get done. I took a day off from work to get this done including a battery replacement and tune-up. I was told everything will be done. 3 hours later, my car is ready, but they couldn't ger the recalls done because the guy that does it has left for the day. Service sucks. There communicate to customer sucks. The people that works there are not very friendly. Never going back there again. read more

Took my truck in for service, had a broken turn signal switch and the brake warning sensor light was on. Brake light sensor turned out to be a malfunctioning master cylinder (according to them). Had the turn signal and brake master cylinder replaced. $1294.00. The parts were marked up 200% from the most expensive OEM parts that I could find listed on the internet. I went in to check on the vehicle, they said the parts had just arrived and they would get started on it. They called me two and a half hours later and said it was done, then charged me 700 dollars for labor which comes to 280.00 and hour. I don't mind paying for repairs but I do mind price gouging at its worst. I won't be going back. read more

On 8/27/18, I took my F-350 Diesel Truck to be repaired. I knew that it was a bad sensor ahead of time, but I did not want to take 3-4 hours to fix it myself. Tracy Ford had an opening, so I went there for the first time. David C was my Advisor. He provided me with an estimate of over $1900 parts and labor, stating the job would take 10 hours! I called Manteca Ford and asked them to quote a price to fix. They gave me a quote of $568 (parts and Labor) and advised the repair would take about 3.8 hours, but they did not have an opening for more than a week. I questioned David C about this. He said he spoke with the Technician, who agreed to do it for $1350, he could not explain the difference in original price, their modified price and Manteca Ford's price. I did not have the repairs done and picked up my truck. At that time, I spoke to Wayne M., the Service Manager. Wayne M could not explain the difference in the originally stated hours to fix the truck. Wayne said he was the one who told David C. to lower the price to $1350. I asked how long "the book" shows this job should take. He said he did not know, but that the book was a estimate and that he could not go lower, nor could he justify his new estimate of 5 hours to repair the truck. Wayne M. said he knew he had a "personnel issue" and that he would handle it and told me I could accept the offer to repair of $1350 or not. I assured him I was not going to do that. I pointed out to Wayne M, that if my wife had came in to repair the truck or someone else with no mechanical history, the company would gladly have accepted the original $1900 quote, which was way out of line. I advised him that I thought that was a horrible business practice (if not fraudulent), which ended our conversation. For full disclosure, Wayne M. did not charge me for the original $250 diagnostic, which he said took 1.5 hours to determine which sensor was bad. The following day, I found Heratiage Ford in Modesto was able to do the repair. I had them do the repair and was charged $650 parts and labor, which was higher than Manteca Ford (no openings for 1.5 weeks), but was still a fair price and almost 1/3 the cost of Tracy Ford. I later called called to complain, but was told Tracy Ford does not have a General Manager and that Wayne M. has the final say in these matters. Tracy Ford is apparently independantly owned and Ford Corporate took my complaint, but advised they really had no power to do anything. In the future I would caution all family and friends to AVOID TRACY FORD. There are too many other quality shops in the area!!!! I truly hope this prevents others from having to deal with this type of incident!! 1 Star because I can't give 0 stars. read more

Because a previous client "ripped" you off on a credit card over the phone payment doesn't mean every "Contractor" is going to do that. Since buying the car, I have now had to return to Ford 5 times! The 1st time, because they took the old license plates out of the trunk upon purchase and didn't realize I would be expected to use them for this used vehicle. So I had to go back and pick them up. No big deal though. I wasn't angry about this one little bit. 2nd, the finance guy called me a few days after purchase and said there was some kind of mistake with my paperwork as it relates to the warranty. I needed to go back and re-sign new paperwork (sales contract #2). Wasn't happy about this, but mistakes happen, so I did it. 3rd, somehow we didn't realize for about a week that there were no floor mats in the vehicle (and there should've been). My wife had been using it with the plastic down like when we bought it. When she eventually realized there were no mats in the trunk, under the seats, or anywhere else, I went back again. Still I wasn't really angry because they did at least give me the mats without asking me to buy them or pay extra. 4th, got a call from finance again saying that there was a problem as it relates to my paperwork (contract #2) and GAP insurance. Basically, they had asked me if I wanted GAP insurance when I purchased the vehicle, and I had said, "yes". Then they called me weeks later to tell me I couldn't have GAP insurance, because I didn't need it. New paperwork (contract #3) had to be signed again. Admittedly, they weren't trying to swindle me -- my payments actually went down like $10/month without the GAP insurance. But I believe Ford had all the information needed to deduce that I did not need GAP insurance at the time of purchase. It was a little negligent of them to even offer to sell me an insurance which I could not use, even if they did undo it after the fact. Perhaps I speak only for myself here, but I don't completely understand everything that is said in those finance offices, in my opinion, it's their job to be diligent for us, and I expect them to be the experts at what they do. 5th. my wife went to Ford today to sign contract #3 which I signed yesterday, and they told her I actually signed somewhere I wasn't supposed to. So they had her sign a new contract (contract #4) and I now need to go back and sign that tomorrow. It's beginning to feel like they have never sold a car before. Obviously, when I was there yesterday, I just signed where the guy pointed. He pointed, I signed. This I did in his presence, while he was watching, and then I watched him proofread it, making sure all the right signatures were in all the right places. Guess not. My wife and I bought this car together, so she also had to return to sign every contract revision as well and we could not come together because of our work schedules. So she returned to Ford 2 times after the original purchase, and I returned to Ford 5 times after the original purchase. I still love the sales team; they offered my wife a tank of gas to compensate for these annoyances. It's just the finance department that needs to be more careful. It appears to me that that position is critically understaffed at Ford and perhaps that explains these mistakes; perhaps it's the training. Mistakes happen, I get it, but three times is enough. Writing and executing these contracts should be routine stuff for a business whose business is selling cars. read more

I had taken my car for service for years at this location. My car lost it brakes and towed it to my home and a mobile professional mechanic came to my home and diagnosed my car and came out that my brake fluid had air in it. Tracy Ford did that work on my car. My mechanic told me to take it back to the dealership and I did. I went to file a claim for repairs, but staff was confused so I told them a complaint. I was taking to a private room away from customers and told the service manager wasn't working that day. I came the next day waited 40 minutes for service manager to meet me and went straight to a private room. I told him the problem and showed him the results, he said he was going to take care of every for free and go to my home and pick up my car the next day. Of course, they said the brakes were serviced correctly and that it was an ABS Module needed to be repaired. They think I'm stupid because an ABS module rarely fails without something else going bad like improper bleeding of my brake fluid. So, it seems they reflushed my brake fluid and blamed it on the ABS module which they gave me an estimate for parts $1,800 not included labor or taxes. Basically, they wanted to wash their hands, so they look like they are not of fault. They even delivered my car the next day to my home broken. It's not worth suing due to attorney fees and years of court appearances. My car is still parked on my driveway not operable for their negligence. So be careful when they screw up something on your car. They will say it's something else and wash their hands! read more

Let me start by saying the salesperson Will is a straight-forward, intelligent, efficient, and personable guy. Also, Mike Wallace, the Internet/Fleet salesperson, and the General Manager Steve Garrity went above and beyond to resolve an issue I had with a used Explorer. They gave me an an excellent deal on the Explorer Sport. They went to Antioch to retrieve it the very next day to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Their sales manager Jeff and general manager Steve worked swiftly to draft a deal. They communicated with my via text messaging throughout this process with me even on their day off. I would recommend Tracy Ford without hesitation. They bent over backward to make things right. I don't review places on Yelp very often, but I wanted to write a review for Tracy Ford today. Yesterday, I bought a Ford Explorer Sport in black that another couple was looking at. I had seen the Sport vehicle before, but it looked like this couple would likely close the deal. Their deal fell through, and my salesperson Will offered me this black Explorer. We didn't bother to look at it because we had already seen one in another color, and Will didn't take me out to see it because he was trying to quickly close the deal. He honestly didn't know it was used. I didn't do my due diligence, which in hindsight was my own fault. I trusted that we were dealing with a new vehicle and I had seen the inside before. I had also driven the vehicle and did plenty of homework about features; therefore I knew exactly what I wanted and I was told this vehicle met these criteria. As we completed the deal, Will and I found out from one of the sales negotiators that the vehicle was indeed a demo Explorer that had 4,000 miles on it. It had already been taken to the detail shop essentially. We got a very quick peak at it at the exterior but it had some dust on it and such. We really couldn't see inside it either because their technician was cleaning it. I didn't feel great at this point, and I should have demanded the vehicle I wanted. I felt like if we could get the vehicle at a low sticker it might be worth it. I didn't do my homework on a used car so my gut was telling me to wait. The sales negotiator had said it was in pristine condition because only the owner had driven it. We negotiated a price, which wasn't an excellent deal. The sales negotiator tried to sneak in some details that were not explicitly discussed like using the rebate to get the vehicle at 46,000, which he didn't not mention. He made it right and was willing to let it go at 46,000 with the $950 rebate. Unbeknownst to me the vehicle was without a moonroof, it had some minor scratches, which I was willing to overlook, and I discovered the dash had some defects as I drove it 5 miles down the highway. I should have inspected it up and down, but due to the circumstances of the previous couple working out a deal it just didn't work out that way. I called back about 10 minutes later and I was angry. I felt like I had been suckered into buying this car. I spoke to their sales manager Jeff and their general manager Steve. Both of them were very cool about voiding the deal and working out the right deal for the car I initially wanted. I worked with Michael and Steve; both of them were awesome. They worked fast and quickly to put this situation behind us. We quickly squashed the misunderstanding and found a solution. They were willing to drive to Antioch and bring another Sport back to the dealership. I loved working with Will. I want to make that clear, and I felt that he honestly did not know what we were dealing with. He was very professional and friendly. Tracy went above and beyond to make it right with me. I would highly recommend working with Will or Mike. The general manager Steve is awesome as well; he wanted to ensure I was happy with the deal, and he gave me his word that he would not stick me with a vehicle that I was unhappy with. I would recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new Ford in the Central Valley. Have been going to the same dealership since I bought our latest (2013 Explorer Limited) including different service calls totaling over $7k. Had an issue with the catalytic converter needing replacement, was informed that it would take 2 to 3 days to get the part, with my truck out of commission the entire time. I requested that we order the parts first so I would only be one day without my primary vehicle. Was informed that I would have to "come down" to pay for the parts up front! Not sure how insolvent the dealership is, but needing payment for a $400 part up front is a first for me! Even with the small mom & pop shops, never saw this happen. Offered to give the CC information over the phone and was informed that this was not allowed! I had an incident where my shift linkage cable had snapped. Not being from Tracy I had to figure out how to get home and then get back to my car once it was done. Upon picking up my car, the guy who worked on my car needed to remove areas on the inside to fix what needed to be fixed. He removed my papers tucked between the seats and threw them in the back seat of my car. I know that the back seat of my car was not clean, but my paperwork should have been put back where it was found, or left in the folders that were in. I also noticed a scratch on the passenger door of my car. When I noticed Darcie she said to bring it into Wayne and he would go over my paperwork. Wayne told me that it was questionable, but would fix it because it was questionable. The scrape plate of my car had lost a screw on the way there, and Wayne asked one of his guys to put it in the air to see what had happened. Louis was there for us he kept us calm, got coffee if needed, acted as our interpreter. Had a down to earth talk with the "DRAGON", as needed. He was our sanjo! When we purchased our truck we had an amazing experience. How ever the first site of truck this place was not there to do anything!! We purchased a lifted truck. There was also some damage on the front bumper when we made the purchase they agreed to fix. It took us arguing and 2 months later to get them to actually follow thru. About that time our truck started squeaking. They "fixed" the problem by replacing parts on the truck. However it did not go away. I complained and complained about this and still they did nothing. I called the "manager" Joe and he cared for a little while. Then I went above him and none of my phone calls were never returned. Darcie, Robert, the younger girl (i don't recall her name) that works in the quick lane and the cashier are always extremely friendly, professional and helpful. They don't try to upsale you on services you don't need/want and they provide excellent communication throughout the whole service and repair process, I can't always answer my phone at work so they offer to communicate through text which is a huge plus for me. The quality of work by the techs is always excellent as well, between 6 trucks that get driven 1k+ miles a week we are in there quite regularly for service and I have had maybe one or two issues with a service or repair that was performed but both times the service team has gone above and beyond to correct the issue and make sure I'm happy. I won't ever recommend Tracy ford personal for any car purchases I be carefully when you finance a car or purchasing cash they add $2000 extra on top of the price now after review they replied to me saying that what I wrote on the review it didn't happened at their place you people are really train to screw people around and now I'm not going to call you to discuss this problem I'm a business person all my life and I don't disrespect my clients that way if I do to my costumers what you did to me I wouldn't be in business right now but you all big corporations outhere have the power to take advantage on costumers read more

Recently visited Tracy Ford twice while shopping for a new vehicle. I do my research and was in contact with many Ford dealers during the buying process. This dealer treated me the worst out of all of them. While I was trying to get them to negotiate to a reasonable price (They were asking several thousand over the sticker price even including a rebate) a new salesman stepped in and walked all over the one I had been working with, going so far as to call the other salesman a "****ing idiot" right in front of him, myself, and my girlfriend. When I told him I thought his offered price was too high he stood up and told me to leave. At that point I was happy to go! Don't put up with this type of treatment. There are over 50 Ford dealerships within an hour and a half and most of them are quite friendly so there is no reason to give this one any business. read more

You got to be kidding me Tracy Ford has had my car since last week on Wednesday and today is Tuesday mind you, I just called to check on my car and was told they couldn't get the problem to act up and the problem being ALL my electrical on my Ford Taurus! So their going to try to master reset it and that I should probably be good wtf?!! I should probably be good??? Wtf is that so my safety isn't a real concern for them???!!! If I get in an accident if my electrical goes out again I should probably be okay wow how disappointing!!! I've put so much money into this car and paid months ahead for my car payments because I thought I had a reliable car and to find out I was sold a lemon !!! Smh looking into a pro bono lawyer and looking into suing Ford sorry but they SHOULD BE OKAY!!!! read more
