Wow, this place surprised me. They have a lot of options. We ordered the fish and chips and the prawns and chips, both are good. I asked for no salt and I was happy that they don't put salt on the fries. I also ordered the terriyaki chicken, I got it with the sauce in the side and it comes with steamed veggies, it was delish! We had the hushpuppies too, they were a lil on the small side, but ok for a side. They even sell Filipino food, we didn't try it, but I'm sure it's good. We stopped for a quick bite in the way home from Great Wolf Lodge. Kids were undecided on Asian vs Fast Food. We were glad to find this little gem on the way back to the Bay Area. So many good things to say about this place! But I'm going to mainly give them a huge shoutout for their Filipino food catering! TLDR: freaking deliciousness! Pancit malabon is beautifully decorated with shrimp, sliced hard boiled egg, and green onion. Huge hit with my family along with their pork adobo..super garlicky in the best way and super yummy over white rice. Also order their lumpia which almost didn't make it out to our guest since we ate it in the car on the way home and bbq pork. Love the convenience of hot, fresh Filipino food for any occasion. advertised as a Fish and Chips restaurant, I decided to give it s hot. I had the sampler platter which has an assortment of deep fried/battered sea food. The fish was alright (Pollock or Halibut maybe? - the deep fried oysters - a so-so, the scallop was under done even though the batter was already nice and golden brown, I assume it was frozen?) Not the best fish and chips around but it's Okay - The friendly staff is the deal breaker plus the clean and tidy restaurant, otherwise, I wouldn't even consider coming back. I haven't tried the other dishes they have my review is basically based on what I ate but I doubt I'll be back anytime soon in Tracy to try them - keep those reviews coming. It's good to hear your thoughts about the place. i think the restaurant is promising especially for the location it is right now however, if they don't figure out what WE want as the "foodies" the restaurant could have the same fate as those deep fried oysters. read more

There's nothing about the fish that's worth remembering. Fish are dry and overcooked. The fish and chips looks big at first, but really it's all batter. The fries that came with the fish is very oily. It looks like the oil they use is old.......the fries is dark in color. I'm so Sorry, but this place is not my favorite place for fish and chips. Three stars (A-ok) Nothing exciting. Really not worth the drive from Stockton. I would rather drive a few more miles and hit one of the fish and chips place in Sacramento. The couple of places that I've tried up there have been better. I feel Long John Silvers is a better option. I wanted to try both the fish and chips and the (broasted?) chicken. Broasted is a registered trademark so I'm not sure how that factors into their cooking method. The chicken was not the same as other broasted chicken that I've had. They do cut the thighs into smaller pieces. You have to watch out for bone splinters because of that. I found a few. I asked if I could order legs only and they said no. The chicken was non-descript. I would not re-order it. They are known for their fish and chips. Their fish is OK for a local joint. Large pieces. Served up hot and fresh. I thought I saw photos of steak fries but the fries I got were just normal fries. They too were served hot and fresh. Not bad for a local fish and chips restaurant but I most likely will not return. I visited this location on 10/23/20. There was no fish & chip restaurants in the city that I was visiting. I found this spot on Yelp. They had a good rating so I went to give them a try. I ordered 3 pieces of fish & chips to go. This is the problem that I have with them. They manipulate the batter to give you the illusion that you're getting a nice size piece of fish, the piece of fish is so small in between all of that batter it's ridiculous, and you're getting nothing but a bunch of batter deep fried, which gives you a bunch of indigestion and acid reflux. In-N-Out Burger is to blame for this....and now that stupid burger joint just backed up the freeway by using the entrance towards Mc.Donalds and Nations! I feel really bad for them considering they have to suffer due to parking. Starbucks doesn't help either. Great place to eat but once again....there's NO PARKING.
