We went to Tracy to inquire about ordering food for our New Year party of 6. After checking out 4 Filipino restaurants we were disappointed that they only served party trays for 15-20 people or that they weren't taking orders anymore. Accepting this disappointment & wanting to eat tapsilog (marinated beef with garlic fried rice) we remembered a friend's recommendation to check this place out. This turned out to be the best accident today. The tapsilog meal came with garlic fried rice, one fried egg, and pickled salad. It was so delicious!!!! The beef was tasty & tender. The rice was soft & seasoned well. Portions are just right. Since they don't serve coffee, we could bring in coffee from Starbucks. Feeling better after satisfying a craving, we noticed a simple Party Menu. There were only 4 items: Pancit Malabon, Lumpia, Broaster Chicken, Teriyaki chicken. After talking with Louie, we realized that they had what we needed!!! We could order food for our small party! We also found the Lomi Soup my hubby has been searching for but can't find in other Filipino restaurants. We are now excited for the New Years Eve feast we will have - 20pc Broaster Chicken, a double order of Pancit Malabon, 50 pc lumpia shanghai, Lomi soup to go with the paella & lechon kawali we are making. We were at starbread next door and saw this place had fried zucchini, so we had to try. My mom's pretty picky when it comes to fried zucchini, but we were super impressed. The man checking us out also accidentally charged us for 3 orders instead of 2 and corrected it when we hadn't even noticed. He even gave us the third order he had made already after refunding us which he did not have to do at all but it was very nice and definitely got eaten! We tried the lumpia too good standard lumpia! sorry only got a picture after we started eating the zucchini though it's about $6 for an order of the zucchini and they came w a lot too We will definitely be coming back and trying more on their menu! read more

So I have had this major fish n chips craving. Since I was in the area, I decided to try Tracy Harbour fish n chips. I'll be short. The piece of fish was huge but it was all breading. Too much breading to fish ratio. Trust me I love me some breading but I do love me some fish. The scallops were small and I mean small. Plus they had a fishy taste to them. Not for me. The fried mushrooms were not good at all. The wife didn't like her fish but said the chicken tenders were fine. The customer service was good. I use to go to a place in Antioch to a similar restaurant that is no longer in business. So my review is a little compared to that one. The batter here needs more salt. Sprinkling salt on top was not the same. The fries should be fried longer so they are crispy and not super soft. Other than that it's really good. Tempura fish was the perfect texture. The zucchini pieces are quartered kinda hard to eat because they are so big and hot. The place in Antioch sliced them and that was much better and enjoyable. The fried oreos were amazing! The lumpia was great just not a fan of some bites it's like a tube of meat that came out with the bite. When I make homemade lumpia the meat is crumble and not molded in a tube so I think these are processed at a factory. Definitely worth a try! read more
