Dwayne Russell was nothing but accommodating with getting a recall done on my Explorer. He was kind and forthcoming with the parts slowly trickling in and I was thrilled I was able to get the windshield trim recall replaced. I now see why the reviews are so bad. I had the DISsatisfaction of dealing with Tracy Langston Ford. I dropped my car off for a recall. Left and ran a couple of errands. When I returned a couple hours later, my car hadn't been worked on yet. I was informed by Dewayne in service that they work first on the cars when the owner is waiting, not in the order the cars come in. So in other words, you'd better hope there are not a lot of "owners waiting" that come in, or your car may be there all day. I made the mistake of telling them I was leaving for a bit. Have traditionally had good service, but apparently things have changed. Used website to schedule service; got an automated reply that someone would call me. Never heard back. Called service department directly and scheduled oil change for 9:00 a.m. After 1.5 hour wait asked advisor for update. My vehicle had not yet been taken to service bay because of them misplacing paperwork. Questioned advisor why since he had walked by me 3 - 4 times in waiting area. Then, they couldn't find my car because someone had written tag number down wrong on paperwork. I pointed it out parked on the side and advisor told me at first that wasn't my car. It was. I didn't have another 2 hours to wait! So, 60 mile round trip, 3.5 hours and quarter tank of gas wasted. I won't be back there. read more

On Sept 29, 2022 i called Tracy Langston Ford and asked to speak to their service center to schedule an oil change for my vehicle. I was transferred to the service department and it rolled to voice mail. The outgoing message instructed me to leave a message and someone would call me back. It further instructed me not to place more than one call as multiple calls could delay a response. I left my message with my name, phone #, make and model of my vehicle and that i wanted to schedule an oil change. It is now October 9th, 2022 and i'm still waiting for a call back. For an oil change, something i could do at any Jiffy Lube on the spot. Needless to say I wont be bringing in my vehicle to your service center ever again. read more

They missed a recall and a faulty PCM. Charged me $750 for O2 sensors and spark plugs. Blamed the faulty PCM on bad gas and I received the recall notice from Ford corporate a month later. They had my car 9 days and touched it one. By the time I discovered my PCM was faulty my powertrain warranty expired (1/19/2022). Stay away from these crooks! read more

Soooooooo happy with my Flex!! Tommy and Mike walked me through a difficult time, trying to buy a car after having a wreck that totalled my previous Flex. FYI, a Flex has WONDERFUL safety ratings for very good reasons. Anyway, it's been an easy and very pleasant buying experience for me. I'll be using this dealership from now on, period. Have used these guys service department for years and they seemed OK before. However recently i had an unusually bad experience there. April 2023 needed an oil change and tire rotation and balance for a 2015 Ford Escape Titanium. 1st the service department does not return phone calls. 2nd when I was there I witnessed them ignoring the incoming calls and let them go to voice mail which apparently they never call back or else they cherry pick which ones they want to call back? 3rd Appt was at 9 am they were so unorganized that it was near lunch time when they took my vehicle back. 4th They "confused" my car with another one and reprogrammed the key fob. Told me it was ready and sent me on my way WITHOUT ACTUALLY CHANGING THE OIL MUCH LESS DOING TIRE ROTATION AND BALANCE. 5th To their credit they did call me and let me know about this mistake. so I went back and they finally did the oil change and tire work (they damaged the lug nuts and Titanium special wheels doing the tire service) 6th Now my spare key fob IS NOT programmed to work with my car since they accidentally reprogrammed mine SIGH. May 26th 2023 I just called and left a message that I would like to bring the car/spare key fob back in today so that they can program it to work and fix their mistake. Burns My Arse that I know that they are standing right by the phone refusing to answer and will probably never call me back. So here I am on Yelp trying to warn people that this is NOT the place you want to use to have your vehicle serviced unless you are a complete GFP (Glutton For Punishment) It looks like this dealership may either be sold or closed down if some type of restructuring does not occur! This type of customer service cannot continue long, word will get out. I sincerely hope that they can restructure and be back like they were before the Pandemic but it looks BAD for them right now.... read more

Have a water leak issue in my trunk on a 2017 Mustang GT.. Called for several days and couldn't even get through to service. Went into the dealership, Holly in service was basically unhelpful. Never received a callback. Had to call back several days just to be told later by David that their 3rd party source for warranty's on windshields was booked up until the end of the year and they could not help me. Water is pouring into my trunk when it rains due to a manufacture defect, ruining everything..and it smells bad. Got referred to another ford dealer in Madison. Extremely dissatisfied since Tracy Langston Ford is right down the road from my house. Will not ever bother again.. read more

STAY AWAY!! This service department is the worst. If the service department is indicative of the way they do business I will travel to go to another Ford dealer. Brought my son's truck in for several things, one being the sunroof inside trim was broken. After 2 weeks!! We Went to pick the truck up. We got into the truck and they had just jammed the frame into the sun roof. This didn't allow the sunroof to close incompletely. It had rained and there was water damage on the inside roof of the truck. The sunroof wouldn't open either. I don't know how they thought that was fixed. It took them 2 hours while I waited to fix the sunroof. When I showed them the water damage they said that wasn't due to the sunroof. They also broke the speaker on the front pillar and denied that as well. THEY ARE THE WORST!! STAY AWAY!! I will be filing a complaint with Ford. read more

So I had previously marked Tracy Langston with a 1-star review due to the lack of service I received. I was able to get my car fixed at an alternate mechanic for about half of what Tracy Langston wanted just to do a diagnostic. The problem I had was a computer malfunction, and the unit needed to be replaced. Thankfully, my car was still under a federal warranty (8yr/80kmiles) for computer systems. So I only paid for some labor. Tracy Langston had specifically told me that my computer was not a problem however. I called them back after my car was repaired and spoke to the service manager and explained the situation to him. Without my prompting or asking, he refunded me the full amount of the original diagnostic I had paid. While I'm still skeptical about trusting them, they went a long way in restoring my faith with the refund. read more

This dealership will hardly negotiate, they countered our cash offer with an offer only a couple hundred off sticker price. They are also often rude and scoff at customers offers. Took my vehicle to Tracy Langston to have a CK ENG LT looked at. The staff was very professional and they had my vehicle diagnosed while I waited. Up date on my nephews new Ford Fusion: Brand new vehicle with 2000 miles on it had the engine quit (Blew up) in Springfield Tennessee. Vehicle was towed to Tracy Langston Ford. He and his teenage daughter were trying to return home to Mobile Alabama. They were left on there own to get the vehicle and themselves off the freeway. Tow truck driver gave them a ride to a motel. Took a taxi to the airport the next morning so they could rent a car. They had to be home (450 miles away) the next day for work. No help or response from Tracy Langston Ford. They have had it now for 33 days. That is twice as long as they have had it. Keep saying parts are in. Should be soon....Said damage was minor and superficial. Two pistons, crankshaft, and head have to be replaced. Minor?? Really. He thought Auto Nation Ford, the dealer he purchased the car from, could possibly care enough to help. He was wrong. They could care less. They supplied him with Phone numbers to call for help. Turned out the phone numbers were no good. He now gets no response at all from them. I went on both there facebook pages and tried to get some help. Auto Nation said they would get back with me. They did not. Tracy Langston would not even comment. However both removed my comments from their facebook pages. Ford Motor Company in Dearborn did contact him and asked for information so they could look into it. They must still be looking. Have not helped at all. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated, If nothing else please like this page, or better yet share it to see if anyone can help. Watch out!. I had been using Tracey Langston for for several years for my business. They were high priced but Holly in service was great to deal with and did what she could to help us out. I had to discontinue my relationship with them because i took my diesel truck to them to get it repaired. They did get it running again with a few extra problems when i picked it up. We drove the truck back to my shop that afternoon. The truck didn't move all night and when we came into work the next morning we found a huge oil puddle on the floor. I also noticed at that time that the front painted bumper had a massive scratch in it also. I took the truck back to them thinking for sure they would take care of it since i had been using them for so long. I got a phone call saying it was not there fault on either item. They offer to split the repair of 1800 dollars with me but i told them heck no that it didn't leak when i took it to them. They also offer to TOUCH UP THE PAINT on the bumper instead of fixing it correctly. I took the truck to another shop and he found a bolt on the oil cooler that had mysteriously loosened up all on its own and that was causing the leak. The new shop was also able to fix the leak by just replacing a couple o-rings instead of replacing the entire cooler. They are a joke! They don't care anything fixing there mistakes. I don't normally write reviews, but a situation like this needs to be broadcasted. I took my truck to this dealership due to a pretty bad coolant leak. I trusted this dealership to fix everything that was wrong. The truck was there two weeks and by the end of it, I had a $7000 bill. The day I picked the truck up I was on my way home and the truck began to leak in the exact same spot. Leading me to believe there was absolutely no test drive done after the work was done. I called this dealership three times and they continued to screen my calls and would not return my phone call. I took the truck to the Ford dealership near my home town after the truck overheated again. Mind you this is what was supposed to have been fixed with the first $7000 bill. They told me that the initial problem was NOT fixed by Tracy Langston Ford and that the issue was evident. The mechanic at this dealership here in my home town was so confident that they have written a letter stating the mistakes of Tracy Langston. I have contacted them since and they will not stand behind anything that they have caused, nor cover the labor that it is requiring to fix their mistakes. So I am writing this for everyone to know, NEVER make the mistake of taking your vehicle to Tracy Langston Ford. They run a crooked business in Springfield, TN. I would be writing this post on their wall but they DO NOT allow customer reviews. Surprising, I know! So to all my horse show friends in the TN area, or anyone traveling to or from please keep this in mind. They are so close to the Nashville area, that I wouldn't want anyone to make the mistake I did of taking my truck to Tracy Langston. read more
