Fried shrimp rolls

Review #1,029 Posted on 3.31.26 We stopped into Tracy Thai on a whim on Friday night the 27th. This spot is near the corner of Central & 11th. We've gotten take out from here a few times and always enjoyed it, but tonight we made it inside the eat. They've got ample seating inside & outdoors which is a huge plus. A lot of the local spots here struggle a bit with how small their spaces are. The food here was good. We tried a ton of stuff. Of course you've got to have the pad Thai, basil fried rice, & chicken satay too. We also had Bbq pork, fried shrimp rolls. The food & service were both tremendous. Their staff does shared service, they've take excellent care of you. Give this local spot a try.

Kind waitress, was very conscientious about the tables allergies. Mango salad - $15.95. Very well made, not too fishy or spicy. Comes with plump shrimp. On crispy ice berg lettuce. Raw lemongrass. Pad Thai $17.95 with prawns. Nice mild sweet pad Thai. Squid on skewers - $11.95. Squid is soft and not fresh, cucumbers cut with sweet chili sauce. Yellow curry- potato, carrot, chicken- wish it came with rice for the price $15.95. However the flavor was good. Crispy duck fried rice - $17.95 little expensive for the amount of duck, which I wished was a little more generous but good flavor. Mango with sticky rice $6.95 great price. Fresh juicy mango. Sticky rice.

I love Thai food and was happy to be able to try out a restaurant I hadn't been to before in Tracy California. I was really happy to find that they had a duck dish which I've had at other places which I absolutely love crispy duck is one of the best way to have duck. This restaurant sauce was a little bit interesting and I could tell they had some Worcestershire sauce in it, which actually was kind of tasty. The duck was very well done. I also had pad Thai with shrimp. I can't say it was the best pad Thai I've ever had, but it was very tasty. I will definitely be going back oh, and almost forgot to mention they have a full bar, which is always nice.

3$ Thai tea go crazy! Unfortunately one of the only highlights of the menu. I got fried rice and it was just rice with vegetables kind of bland not really any detectable flavors. The other thing I got was green curry which was just salty no notes of other flavors. The texture was also a bit watery not creamy / coconuty ~ The prices for the quality of food wasn't worth it in my opinion. But overall the place was not bad and the staff was nice too. Ambiance is kind of like early 2000s y2k place. Parking is pretty easy to find if you don't go during rush hour.

Food meh Service meh Ambiance good Our 2nd time around for Dinner this time and was very disappointed. They totally missed on the flavors and the quality on most of our dishes. This place is inconsistent and for that reason I will be trying to find a new Thai go to spot.

Another great experience at Tracy Thai! We stopped by with a party of 7 without reservations on a Saturday evening (5p) and were seated right away, with only two other parties there eating at the time. Our server Anthony, was not only helpful and attentive, he had some delicious recommendations for us to try this round and we were not disappointed. Everything I tasted was very flavorful and prepared perfectly. They allow you change the heat for most dishes so if you like it spicy or mild, they got you covered. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant was more than half full yet the service never declined. I also love how large the restaurant is as it allows for larger parties to sit together easily. The inside is lit well and the decor is nice. They have a full bar and make some great drinks (must try the Moscow mule)! We stuffed ourselves silly, and went home happy! Definitely stop by and give them a try... and make sure to ask for Awesome Anthony as your waiter if he's working!!

Probably the best thai food I've ever had. I've been dying to return since I went here last month. Just thinking about the sticky rice and peanut tofu makes makes my mouth watery. Great vegan selection!

Pad Thai combination

The chicken in the pad Thai and spring rolls had an odd taste. The interior is lovely, but I wouldn't return. I've had incredible pad Thai before, and unfortunately, this place didn't meet my expectations.

Cashew Chicken lunch special and it come with rice!

So we walked over to Tracy Thai.... Closed, dang. I looked it up and, My Thai Cuisine was the only Thai food place in town that was open before 5pm on a Friday! So, we wandered in and in so glad we did. We had a great time. The food was prompt and delicious, staff was friendly and kept our drinks topped off. We ordered the Pad Thai (beef) and the orange chicken with a side of thai egg rolls. The perfect amount of food for us, and everything was delicious. I'll say the beef was scarce in the pad Thai, and they didn't ask us about heat level (it had none.) I mainly take one star away because while the inside looks nice, it is not very comfortable seating. The bench seat across the wall is too deep so I couldn't rest my back on it, and the chairs were small so my husband felt like he was spilling over. We swapped seats and did a little better after that. Too small, too big. Lol Overall a good experience though, and we will definitely be back, especially considering they're actually open during the day!

Pho is good- $18, the noodles were a little clumped but tasted fine. Broth is clear and not oily. Meat is fine, no complaints. 5/5 Came with generous amount of bean sprouts, basil leaves, only one lemon slice. Nice sauce selection with hoisin, garlic chili sauce and sriracha. Special rice plate- thin but nice tasting pork chop, shrimp 3 skewers, egg, salad with cucumbers tomatoes, lettuce $17.95. Overall good, wished the pork was thicker delicious. 6/5 Garlic noodles with shaken beef- $18.95, pasta noodles with Parmesan cheese, garlic, beef was great taste, but a little over marinated, tough. The sauce was very good mix of sweet, salty, and garlic. 6/5 Strawberry smoothie- enjoyed very much. Perfectly not too sweet, creamy mix. $6.50 I requested no added sugar besides the syrup.

Overall, a super cute and comfy spot to grab lunch with friends and family. Love having a good priced and delicious bahn mi near me...finally!! We needed one here in Tracy! So grateful they opened!
