i came to Trader Joe's for my groceries, but it was nice to see the autumn ambiance with pumpkins and seasonal buys throughout the store the organic produce, the organic beverages and organic buys are worth the value, and the customer service is nice in the Concord location

I was on the lookout for a good place to find decent dips, and Trader Joe's came to mind. I was pleasantly surprised by their wide selection, which included both vegan and regular options in a variety of flavors. I ended up trying the Vegan Almond Chipotle Dip, which was really tasty and flavorful. I also picked up their Greek Yogurt Cucumber Dip--while it sounded appealing, it ended up tasting more like pickles or relish than fresh cucumber, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, overall, Trader Joe's offers a solid selection of dips. The store was clean, well-organized, and not too busy when I visited on a weekday morning. Parking was also easy at that time.

Casey went above and beyond to find me chocolate covered pretzels and I really appreciated that. She checked inventory and was determined to find them. Thank you!! Another woman also helped me but she was newer and wasn't able to find them, didn't catch her name but I appreciated her help as well! Love Trader Joe's!

I've been coming to this trader Joe for about 1 year now and I always go for their flowers. Their flowers are super fresh !!! Store is super clean. Workers are nice.

Location: 1150 Concord Ave, Concord, CA

This is not a review of the food or cleanliness , but specifically of the customer service at the 1150 Concord Ave location today. Today mom was at the register when she realized she'd forgotten her card. Several of her items had melted by the time I arrived to pay. When we asked to exchange them as they were ruined, an employee responded in a manner that this is would be a significant inconvenience (several registers were empty) and they would have to re-ring up her dozens of items. I don't object to any store policy, but the way in which he spoke to my already visibly embarrassed mom - there is no need to make a customer feel that asking for un-ruined food is an undue burden to the staff. This is not in line with my experience at this or other Trader Joe locations, where the staff is usually gracious and happy to help.

I love their displays, the customer service, the prices and they always provide tasty, healthy options whether it's a meal or a snack you are planning. However, I find it super frustrating when some things are only seasonal ( like my favorite chocolate mochi cake with the peanut butter frosting ) And super duper frustrating when things disappear altogether! ( like the shakshuka starter kit) ugh I had just discovered it and was raving to friends and family about trying it, and poof! - it was gone. I visit the Pinole, San Francisco ( fisherman's wharf) and Fairfield locations equally.

It's a very nice TJs. Clean, fresh, friendly, well-stocked, and enough parking, I'd just go as early as possible on weekends in the future. Very busy & popular on the weekends like most TJs. Hadn't been to one in probably over two years. I used to live near one so i could just walk there on the weekends. This one is about 5 miles away, not too bad but im definitely not walking it. Didn't realize how much I missed all their items and that their prices have not changed at ALL since pre-COVID??! Wow, that amazes me. Safeway on the other hand.. prices have skyrocketed. So I felt like I got a lot more groceries for the $ today by shopping at TJs. I also remember eating a lot healthier when I used to shop there so I'll try to only shop there from now on.

Awesome commitment to the community. Support this trader joe

The pain had gotten pretty bad. When I got to the shelf, the product was missing except for a sign that said, "Limited shelf stock, please see customer service." I went to the guest service area and waited patiently since nobody was there. After a few minutes, a woman came out of the office and asked, "Did you need something?" I explained that I was looking for Orajel and the sign directed me there. She responded by saying, "Oh no, this area is closed." Confused, I asked if she could still help me. She said no because she had the safe open in the office and told me I'd have to go to customer service, then went back into the office and shut the door. At that point, I was honestly stunned. I asked another employee nearby taking out the trash where customer service was, and he smirked and said, "That right there," pointing to where I was already standing. Normally I wouldn't make a big deal out of something like this, but I was in a lot of pain and felt like I was just getting the runaround. Thankfully, my girlfriend noticed the Orajel was actually locked behind the counter. Then an employee named Willy, who was working one of the registers, called out and asked if I needed help. Willy came over immediately, helped locate the product, logged into customer service himself, and tried to unlock the case.. but then the key actually broke off in the lock. At that point I was thinking, "You can't make this stuff up." Even after that, Willy still went above and beyond. He used a grabber tool to retrieve the product from the locked case, rang us up, and completely turned the situation around. I'm writing this review because Willy gave me some of the best customer service I've had in a long time after one of the most frustrating experiences I've had at a store. Huge shoutout to Willy! He's the only reason I'd come back to this location.

It's located on the borderline of Walnut Creek and Alamo-ish areas, and certainly not in an area most people would be driving by unless you live in this area since it's mostly residential here, or you're driving through Olympic locally for something in that direction that's not the downtown. First things first, it's a small place. It's a local market, so it's not going to be very large. They do have their own parking lot in the front, and there's also plenty of parking in the back as well, so that shouldn't be an issue here even though the store is small. While I've seen some people note this as a Japanese market, it is not. While they carry a small section of Japanese stuff, here, most of the things are very much a Chinese focused type of offerings, from the types of produce, to the packaged stuff here. They'll have some miscellaneous stuff like a section just for pastas and sauces in the right side of the store on a rack, they're mostly a Chinese market. If you need a comparison, they're like a mini 99 Ranch. Price wise, it's about right for this area. If you compare it to other grocery market chains it's definitely not comparable, but for a local market in this area, it's not bad. The fish is indeed on the more expensive side, but it does look pretty fresh at least so there's that. They also have some to-go sushi boxes of stuff. It's nice to see they have a variety of offerings from their sushi to-go options, albeit, not cheap but at least they did look pretty good though. The sashimi boxes looked great because the fish quality appears to be great here. The only thing again, it is a bit pricey for some of these options, so just be aware of that. Green Fish is a nice little market for this area, and certainly will have a variety of things here you may be interested in. Again, it's not a large market, so just be aware of space if they do get busy. The fish counter is literally wedged into the corner of the store, but still offers fresh seafood options for those locally to buy from (albeit a bit pricey). They have offerings of various things akin to 99 Ranch, but certainly more focused on mostly Chinese and Japanese as oppose to Ranch that offers a lot of different Asian brands too. While they have pastas and sauces and stuff, that's basically it for the non-Asian market stuff. This is very much an Asian market. I will definitely want to try out some of those takeout rolls and maybe their sashimi eventually.
