I was in the area and decided to stop by since I needed to refill my baby carrot stock for my dog who is obsessed with carrots! I found parking easily, it was around 10 am on a weekday which probably is why it was easy to find a space, but the lot is a bit cramped appearing and I can imagine when it's later in the day it would be hard to find a spot. I loved the spaciousness of the inside of the store and that it was easy to find what I was looking for. I browsed all the aisles and then went to pay and the staff who assisted me were friendly and assisted me with smiles. I brought my own bags and they were able to put all my items in the two bags perfectly. I would definitely come back again and shop here next time my dog's carrots are running low! Oh I almost forgot to mention the flower / plant section. When you enter the store, you are greeted to the left with such a wide array of beautiful flowers and plants! Everything appears vibrant and good quality. I found a really gorgeous purple calalily that I couldn't say no to because purple flowers are my favorite color. I have so many white lillies growing in my back yard that even if I pull them out they keep regrowing, so I'm hoping I can plant these purple ones and have them spread and give some beautiful purple contrast to the white ones! read more

Shelves are usually well-stocked, with a good variety of selections including exotic flowers, great cheese/charcuterie options, and seasonal items. Cleanliness has never been a concern and it's conveniently located near other eateries in NoHo West. Parking can be challenging/crowded. I visited early enough to be able to find parking closer to the store and found more fall goodies inside. I bought two mini brooms cinnamon infused, bought more pumpkin related food items, pastries, even ravioli. Store is nice inside, they have cool decorations to go along with the current season. Check out was quick and efficient, I appreciate the staff assisting in packing up my food items in my bags. Will be coming back soon to stash up on the pumpkin everything goodies. read more

I attempted to buy non-alcoholic beer and was asked for ID when I at the age of 40 and look well over the age of 25, which is the age limit? That you must look below for them to actually ask or require. I also had a copy of my I d on my phone which I asked ican show him, and he refused. the gentlemen, obviously was not trained well on how to do his job.And made an inconvenience for me , Who's an everyday shopper at the store to where now I have a bad interpretation of how they are trained and how they are managed .get better trader joe's customer service it should be priority read more

I stopped by this Trader Joe's inside Noho West and I will say avoid parking in the private lot there if you can. You're better off parking in the parking structure because the lot where Trader Joe's at, is always backed up. The store is not that big but it works for them. When you walk inside, the veggies and produce are in the front. The wines and meat are toward the back of the store. Everything else is in the middle. There are staff throughout the store and they are very helpful if you need any help. read more

I usually come to this location after the gym since it's so convenient. There is plenty of parking in the parking structure and parking lot. However, the parking lot can get crazy. The store is very spacious. The aisles are wide so that's nice. The produce is fresh and they keep a good stock of their items. There's a great selection of wines and groceries. Ok so I really don't have anything negative to say about this location but I was there today and I was walking in an aisle between the frozen food area and the regular aisle and( when I walk I usually look down because I have small dogs) and I was stunned when I saw a rat scurry across the floor into a small space next to the frozen aisle by one of their end caps. I still bought all my food. I wasn't too grossed out because everything there is usually packaged. But still. One of the employees saw me when I gasped and I told her what I saw, she was very nice, apologized and told me she was going to inform the manager. This location always has seasonal items in stock compared to other locations I've been too. The only downside is the parking. WARNING ADVISE Check your NZ lamb rack. I have on several occasions bought lamb rack (Ribs) from Trader Joe's north Hollywood. Lately they have been off(spoiled) this was addressed with the manager to the point they opened several packets and agreed they were no good. They said they would pull what's in the shelves but didn't. A month later I was home sick for NZ lamb (I am from NZ) we bought some and YES it was off so we returned it and was refunded. We went to Studio city explained the situation and they sparingly have the same supplier. Well well well yes this was really bad. Please check you lamb and if you buy from either of these stores and get sick I suggest give your doctors this information and send Lawyer to Trader Joe's head office. They have know for months now and still provide this shameful dangerous product. read more

Who doesn't love Trader Joe's?!?! I'm a little lucky. There is about 9 Trader Joe's that is accessible to me. Some are closer than others and some are larger than others. I am surprised by its popularity and how crowded it is almost any time of the day. There are definitely some locations that I avoid because the main concern is parking. TJ's in North Hollywood although not new any more, it is the newest location in the San Fernando Valley. It is a part of the NoHo West center just off the 170 fwy. The store is a moderate to large size. It gives the customers room to maneuver around the aisle picking out all the goodies. All in all TJ's is TJ's so if you know you know. I like this location as it is the most accessible location. The parking is fair as there is a parking structure. But if you want to find ground level parking, either come on a week day not during peak time and avoid the weekends. (or just cross your fingers) Parking: ground level parking and structure VERDICT: Rinse and repeat read more

There are two Trader Joe's that are closer to me than this one but I came to this location thinking that the parking would be better. It wasn't in terms of directly adjacent parking but it was in terms of proximity of handicapped parking to shopping carts. I'm an 8-year stroke survivor and a shopping cart really helps me to walk. I have a big problem with stores that don't have shopping carts located close to handicapped parking. This one does and I'll be back to this location for this reason alone. In terms of the store itself, this is one of the biggest Trader Joe's locations I've seen. It's still got that small store feel, but it is definitely bigger than the locations I've been to previously. I went at around 3:00 today, the Monday of Thanksgiving week, and it was a madhouse. Hopefully it'll be less crowded when it's not a holiday week. read more

I shop often at Trader Joe's, I am addicted to their food. Even if this is a new location close to me, I didn't check the store out till recently. Parking - decent sized, but still busy, harder to get a spot, people ready to back into you while you walk or pull out. The usual TJ's parking craziness. The store - decent sized, pretty well stocked, lots of flowers, more than I have seen at other locations. The wine section is the smallest and not that well stocked with the brands I usually get at TJ's. Customers - some nice, some inconsiderate on the phone, ignoring you, walking in front of you. Kids running around in aisles. The usual. Customer service - not as good, they rushed me out of there, doing a poor bagging job (I redone it outside) even if no one was in line behind, not the usual chatty people I am used to. Overall, it was OK, better than the Toluca Lake store. I would shop here again, maybe... But this still won't be my main store. No love at first sight here. Just a social circle. read more

This Trader Joe's is new and large, so I enjoy shopping here. But here's a suggestion... If you are a cashier and you're being friendly and cheerful with a customer, including playing with their kid in the shopping cart... and then you say only one word to the next customer, even though the customer greeted you in a friendly manner and a courteous smile, and said thank you, but you don't even respond or bother sliding their purchase to them, so that they have to reach across the counter... they might get the impression that you don't like them based upon how you look. Maybe they were having a bad day, but wow! the change in behavior was like night and day. Hopefully they don't do this often! read more

My New Favorite TJ's for parking alone lol... But seriously the NoHo Trader Joe's at the NoHo West shopping center is top of the line... We waited in line for less than ten minutes and were greeted with hand sanitizer and warmth on a chilling Halloween weekend night. The aisles are massive with space and for navigating around ant they DEFINITELY limit the capacity to a set amount of employees and customers at any given time as well as exits and entrances even though they technically have more than two. We stopped in for some last minute treats for the weekend and found plenty... Each section full stocked and catering to the area. Vodka, Ice Cream and Crackers were are top hunts and while they didn't have the Trader Joe's Art of Still grain free corn based gluten free vodka for something I'm brewing up they do have serval others. The crackers are right above the refrigerated/frozen isle good (as they are at almost in Trader Joe's in the universe. The had some flavors I've yet to try, such as the savory thin. Non Dairy options are plentiful here in frozen deserts including cheese-less cheesecake, coconut based noms and our classic cherry chocolate chip soy based ice cream fav. We got offered assistance on the floor and had an awesome checkout experience with a great guy on registry (insert name here)... Why am I so bad with names... This guy was kind, funny and super personable. Overall you'll be blown away, by the quality, care and cleanliness of TJ's NoHo... they have parking around the store but also too much too count in the shared parking structure for this outdoor mall/plaza experience. read more

For a company that prides itself on delivering a "wow" customer service, the only "wow" factor about this location is how impressively bad my experience is each time I've visited in recent weeks. Starting from the outside in, before you even enter this store, you will be harassed by solicitors almost every time you shop here. Which is odd because this is something the company typically doesn't allow (which I can vouch for as a former employee of almost ten years). This may not bother most, but is a daunting prospect for those with social anxiety or sensory issues. Once inside, the store lately seems to reward poor behavior from its worst customers. Two visits ago, employees sat by and did nothing as a customer allowed their children to blow on whistles loudly throughout the entirety of their visit, in an already loud and overwhelming environment. Even after I mentioned it to an employee, she just joked about it and carried on with her work. Every single customer shopping had to tolerate the unnecessary noise because the staff refused to confront the disruptive customer. During my most recent visit, there were THREE separate customers walking dogs around in the store, none of which are service dogs. This is also against store policy for several reasons. This normally wouldn't have bothered me, however one of the untrained dogs got aggressive with another and a dog fight almost broke out right next to me. Employees saw this event, and still no one stepped in to say anything. This would not have happened if the employees would have politely reminded these customers that only trained service dogs are allowed in the store, but it seems that their non-confrontational approach enables poor behavior while the rest of the shoppers are left to the mercy of poorly behaved customers. For cherry on top, on the way back to my car, the cart locked only halfway to my car. My partner had to go get the car and meet me at our full cart that couldn't even make it halfway across their own parking lot. Trader Joe's is known for bad parking lots. If they are going to utilize anti-theft carts, they should at least cover the full distance of their own parking lot. I have shopped at this location for several years, but will be going to other locations around the valley for the foreseeable future until this store remembers how to provide a decent customer experience again. read more

I love love Trader Joe's my store is sliverlake. They could take a few pointers from them. No carts available out front many shoppers had just baskets and were using their bags to shop as well. I couldn't buy all I needed as it was getting too heavy. Most employees were too busy talking to each other. I was greeted by not one employee while I was there. I was waiting politely for a girl to finish stocking shelves of pasta until I grabbed the bag I needed and was given a dirty look and a sigh. At my store they would engage with you and acknowledge your there shopping. My check out guy could care less when I told him there were no carts just grunted and didn't looked up are speak at all. I needed help getting it out to car without a cart. No offer was made even though he could see I was struggling. Still no carts available when I left. But the returns cart areas were full. Firts of all I really found myself in a very uncomfortable and even more because I'm a male with my 2 daughters and the RUDE & unapologetic cashier was a young female with no sense of manners at least with 4 year old and just cause I really didn't have time to wait for the manager I didn't cause a scene not with the manager but with the whole situation. It all began as we were walking up to pay and my 4 year old accidentally stumbled close to this one RUDE cashier who instinctively reaction to do and say was " excuse can you me my personal space" at that point my blood was boiling and my only reaction was to take my 2 daughters and leave the area cause as I explained to her she was speaking to 4 year old not an adult but just an overall very unpleasant experience.. read more
