First time at this trader Joe's. Prices were alright and they had a variety of items but it was just too chaotic for me. I was looking at the produce section and I felt I spent more time moving out of the way for other people that wanted to grab something. I felt aisle were too narrow for the amount of people that were shopping there. Of the few items that I did grab such as pre made salads and burritos. so happy to find a trader joe's not too far from our hotel... spent an extended weekend in riverside for my daughter's dance competition. Breakfast and evening snacks were covered by the hotel's concierge lounge...but lunches were needed and I didn't want to deal with going out and buying food to bring back to the hall. i stocked up on premade sandwiches & salads. I bought some shredded cheddar today and once got it home, various shreds were tinged with green and dry. The date on my package is Mar 21 24. Seriously, I don't think anyone would have seen it if they had not opened a package themselves and it may not even be all packages of cheese, maybe I just got an "off" one. I love my Trader Joes. I've been shopping here since 2004 when the major grocery store across the lot went on strike. I'll always shop here. To customers who wish to post about the lack of quality of a product, the store and staff have no control over that when the date on the package is not nearly expired so think twice before posting negative. Thank you Riverside for bringing in a Trader Joe's. This store is my hands down favorite shopping spot. The variety is not as vast as other stores, but the quality and price-point is exceptional. I'll let you in on a little secret, though I believe I will regret it. Around Christmas, they bring in their chocolate-mint covered Joe-Joe cookies. They are to DIE FOR! Seriously addicting. I admit, I've looked for them on-line when TJ sells out, and they go for a crazy high price...... and people actually buy them, that's how good they are. I used to love TJs. Been shopping since the 70s in the San Fernando Valley. Now not so much. Sent my husband to Tjs and the sliced mushrooms had a date of being in the store for over 10 days. Slimy and stunk! The corn chip in the bag were all smashed. You really have to check everything you buy. Look at the dates especially dairy and cheese. Check the tomatoes, they don't pull the smashed ones that are moldy. I would rather drive to Sprouts and know it's fresh not old crap. read more

Trader Joe's is one of my favorite stores. This location is in the Riverside plaza which is close to where I work so I can stop by and check things out on my lunch hour. I've been coming to this location for years and I've always had a positive shopping experience. The store is clean and well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful. Yes, they can get extremely busy but the lines move pretty quickly. I love some of the specialty items that they carry especially during the holidays. There are also some items that I only purchase at Trader Joe's like their cinnamon swirl bread for French toast or bread pudding, some of their frozen items like the artichoke hearts, mushrooms melody, and the beer battered halibut for fish tacos. Trader Joe's also has the best everything bagel spice blend. I've tried a few other brand but I think Trader Joe's has the best one. The only thing I don't care for is the produce area. I don't care for the pre-packaged produce which is all they carry but thats a personal preference. I do appreciate that they carry fresh flowers and some fresh potted herbs. They also have the best canvas shopping bags. I've been using their canvas bags for years and I had cashiers at a competitiors store I shop at frequently ask about my Trader Joe's bags. read more

I love Trader Joe's!. This is one of the biggest locations I have been in which is a really nice change to be able to walk through and not bump into people. The products are just freaking fabulous! Over time we have tried about any and everything they have and its all been more or less top notch! Newest obsession, the smores ice cream sandwiches, yuuum! Another highlight would be the samples, they really go all out, its been tacos with salsa and guac, pulled pork sammies with chips and last weekend stuffed peppers and microgreens. Plates, for free!!! How can you not give them 5 stars?!! Prices are more than fair, in fact the cheapest you will find at any healthier or organic chain. Great staff and always accommodating. Trader Joe's is reasonably priced and great for all family sizes. The flowers are almost worth visiting just for a fresh bouquet. The price for flowers and quality is not comparable anywhere else. I tend to sway towards the fragrant lilies that are , $5.99. Anywhere else they are easily $12-$14... Find the secret gems of the store, for instance mixing the jalapeño pub cheese mixed with vegetarian beans in a can. A 5 minute creation sampled at the store, served with tortilla chips, it is amazing and a great party appetizer. read more

My wife gets hit on, actually it's more like, I like your green hair, tattoos, Harry potter/Star Wars shirt (no particular order). Try there shampoos, conditioners, toothbrushes. Beer prices okay, snack stuff is always off the beaten path. Great meals ready to put in the microwave/oven. It depends if you want it to taste as the company wants or you like your food soggy, gross, but less than 2 minutes. That's your call. Give a hoot and bring your own bags. Birkenstocks not required. Overall, great store. Needs to tears down that CVS and make it bigger. read more

Please explain to me why you have crap at the end of your check out station, so ppl can barely bag their food. Also, you might want to educate your staff about what is considered vegan. You had a sample out and wrote out that it was vegan, but it contained eggs. After asking about it, the gal was rude. This Trader Joe's is so crazy. People are entering through the exit and exiting through the entrance. No one there ever controls the flow of traffic. I've been shopping at TJ's since I was child and this location is just a nightmare. Thank goodness that I live in Temecula and only have to shop here if it's a last resort on our way home. read more

The one here at the plaza is the friendliest the most efficient the best stocked I've ever been to. The people here are nicer and friendlier than our church. I've been doing a lot of shopping here for about the last three months. The store is always very clean and the people that work here are always very helpful. It's a smaller store so it's easier for me to ask where most things are because everything is placed very neatly but compact. Everything I go in there for is usually in stock unless it's been discontinued. The lines tend to get pretty long later in the afternoon. They could get a little bit better about the way that they open lanes when there are long lines, they don't usually look for the customer that is next as most traditional supermarkets do. read more

This location has a lot to choose from despite their small building. The service is always nice and friendly. Staff always smile or greet you when you come in. Often times, the staff will ask you if you need help when they see you looking a little lost. Many items rotate throughout the year and the produce is usually in-season only options, so if you want a wide variety of produce, a different store might suit you better. The store is always clean and all staff have shown efforts to sanitize. Masks are a must for customers and staff comply with this as well. read more
