I am always very happy to shop at Trader Joe's! Every single staff member asks me if I need help finding anything when they walk by! They are always happy to answer all of my questions and they have amazing products! I just tried the Pumpkin Butter for the first time today, it is AMAZING! If you go in on weekends they have 10 cent wine samples and it is a great way to try out their wines! I've found my favorites by sampling their wine regularly! Their wine selection is fantastic and it's all extremely low cost, even the Amarone and Valpolicella! Their face wash and moisturizers are amazing and they have so many items that I am not allergic to! I love this place and I hope one opens up in Westgate or Strongsville! read more

The only reason I put a star is bcuz I have to. This was the most horrible experience of my life. Back in the day parents disciplined their children well nowadays parents dont. A child that can barely walk should have a mini cart and stop you every 2 seconds. The parents just smile at their kods. A mother with 2 kids and both having mini carts. And she would just stop right in front of me and put stuff back. Or grab something. These people really needed to get kicked out the store. I swear I needed to shop and I couldn't bcuz of stuck up mothers that can't put their children in the cart and walk normal pace. They need those mini carts out! I don't want to hate the sore from these people but I have no choice I grabbed like 4 things and I had to leave. You can't shop bcuz kids are everywhere blocking aisles. Omg I was such in shock. Then I thank God my girls are so amazing and they wouldn't do that in public. But I don't blame the kids I blame the parents. But one good thing the store is very clean and cute. Workers smile at you. Ask how you are and everything. But I really hope they stop the mini carts. It's not fare for people like me that need to shop and cant! I don't do my regular shopping at Trader Joes. Just the fun stuff (vegetable rolls, aloo chaat kati pouches, egg nog ice cream, falafels, coconut lotion, salted caramel dark chocolate, potstickers, spicy chai powder, eucalyptus branches, coconut oil, Vintage Ale, Charles Shaw wine.....). I like to walk around and find something new to try. The store is tiny. The employee are usually very friendly and helpful. read more

Fantastic Trader Joe's very friendly staff. People at this seem to enjoy working here and it shows. Last time I was there I had a 15 min conversation with the teller ( named Craig), we talked about both growing up in the Bay area, best conversation I have ever had in a retail environment. I live in Lakewood and this is the closest Trade Joe's to me but I will sometimes make the longer drive to the east side to the other location just so I can shop in a store that isn't as packed as a sardines tin buttttt besides that, no complaints. I shop here for specific items only. I don't buy everything here but I do highly recommend the frozen garlic naan, the coconut chips, and the chipotle black bean dip. These are all Trader Joe exclusives and can't be found anywhere else. I don't suggest shopping here in the evening or the weekend unless you want your heels to be raw from children ramming into you with their tiny carts due to the lack of aisle space. TIP: If you have children I found out that all the drinks (not just children's) can be purchased individually. My children get excited that you can open a pack of juice boxes and take out just 1 or 2 to purchase instead of the entire pack. read more

Best Trader Joe's in Ohio! The employees are absolutely wonderful, and make your shopping trip an enjoyable experience. The store is always clean and well stocked, it was recently renovated with more space, and there is designated customer parking. The produce is always fresh, seasonal products roll in and out, and there's always a food sample, coffee and a drink sample in the store. The plants and flowers make great gifts, or additions to your home. The wine crew can help you find any bottle, and employees are always happy to point you in the right direction if you can't find what you are looking for. All Trader Joe's stores carry great products, but this one is made even more fabulous by the staff. 5 out of 5 stars!! read more

We love going to Trader Joe's when we are in the area. I wish there was one closer because if there was one closer I would by here more often. I wish it wasn't located directly in Crocker Park because it can be difficult getting around with all the traffic but it's definitely worth it having such a close location to my house! Trader Joe's rocks and this location is no exception. I needed to purchase two cases of wine for an upcoming event and required some assistance deciding on what to pick up. Lisa and Nat were super helpful in that area and I'm extremely grateful for their expertise. I can definitely see myself sitting down and having a beer with any of the employees here, they're all genuinely nice people and it's a pleasure to shop at this location, even when considering the fact that it's usually quite crowded. THE best thing about Trader Joes is just about everything! The selection of items you can't get in a regular grocery store is wonderful and almost every product I have tried has exceeded my expectations. I actually make special trips to Crocker Park just to come to TJ's. Some of my favorites include, the chicken sausages (all varieties), the frozen orange chicken, frozen chicken potstickers, and frozen teriyaki chicken. It's wonderful having a TJ's so close! When I started to experiment with my eating habits, I could find many of the unusual and healthy items I needed here. I have since developed a number of favorites with certain items (Plantain Chips, Epic Bars, RX Bars, etc.). I'll usually stop in once or twice a week for a light shopping load to add to what my family gets at Aldi's. There is plenty of parking in a nearby garage. read more

I made a trip out to this mysterious place called Crocker with a friend because we were hoping to get a pumpkin cheesecake or some such dessert for NYE. I hadn't been to Trader Joe's since moving up to Ohio and really I've been trying to stay away from TJ's since they refused to sign onto the Coalition of Immokalee Workers' Fair Food program. Anyway- we called and found out that TJ's would be closing at 6pm on NYE (a Saturday) which is just nuts in my opinion and we zoomed way out there to Crocker with our list in hand. We knew what we needed, were ready to grab it before the absurd closing time and it was a go! Never mind the toddlers and their mini carts being poorly minded by their adults. We quickly surveyed the scene and split up to make the best of our time. I went to the cheese section (not to be confused with the yogurt/ milk section) and found that my choices of brie were tiny brie bites and small logs of brie. That was a bit disappointing. But I had a list and a time limit so I continued around to the next place- bread. I grabbed the bread and moved on past some toddlers with carts and ridiculous parents there of towards another part of the store. I needed to get down an aisle but a really chatty TJ employee had monopolized the area- luckily there was a mid aisle entrance. My friend and I reconvened near the dog food and remarked that the dog on the bag looked like my dog. And then we became part of an episode of Portlandia. You see- the chatty TJ employee and finally finished his conversation with the others and came over to us to inquire what was being fed to our dogs. Mind you we were simply looking at the photo on the bag because it looked like my dog. I get my dog food at Pet-Tique. Chatty TJ guy launched into a very suave up-sale during which some lady piped in that she knew of a better food than he. Both were super high priced brands that neither he nor I could afford. The amount of privilege got to be far more than I could possibly handle and I had to walk away. My pal isn't the sort of person to call someone out on that and I was in no mood... He finally got away and we wrapped up our trip (short a few things they didn't have) and walked toward the registers. We got in line- maybe there was one guy in front of us. But then employee of the year, chatty TJ guy called over to us that he could check us out just a couple of registers away. Out of nowhere comes a couple of women and chatty TJ abandons us and without so much as a look walks off with these customers. WHAT?!?!? Another TJ guy noticed my confusion/ astonishment and immediately walked us over to his register where we actually did get checked out and left the place. I don't know why I'd ever go back (Candy Cane Jo-Jo's?) but I have to say that I've got minimal motivation. read more

I Love Trader Joe's. Don't know what I would do if I didn't live so close to one. I must stop in three or four times a week. Some of the prepared and frozen food entrees better than some restaurants food. Only place I shop for wine, cheese, nuts, coffee, oh pretty much everything. Frozen fish great price and quality, people are missed informed about frozen fish, when frozen and packaged the way they do, it's probably better than some places fresh. I do my main weekly grocery shopping elsewhere, but I make a trip here at least 2-3 times a month to get those items you just can't get elsewhere. They have a great selection of their "house brand" items, and the prices are very reasonable. The produce is usually fresh, and I love the healthy snack-type foods. Fantastic place. A nice change of pace from your your average supermarket. Lots of healthy choices and the surprising thing is that Trader Joe's is actually just as expensive, if not a tad cheaper than our supermarkets. I remember Trader Joe's as a tween growing up in Los Angeles. So crowded and small if you turned without looking you would bump into bottles of this or that. Now it is huge. I was looking through their awesome wine selection and someone came over and let me taste a few wines, despite it not being during their designated wine tasting time (I think). Super helpful! In short, Trader Joe's is awesome! It's kind of like a health food store but they have tasty gourmet type items as well. They sell almost everything in their own brand (others too) so I end up spending less money here than at the "regular" grocery stores, and a lot of it is healthy items without weird preservatives and chemicals. And you have to love their cheap and tasty Charles Shaw wine. They also have great fresh breads, muffins, scones, vegan cookies, sandwiches and salads to go, etc. The only thing is that they sometimes run out of the popular items during busy times so the selection can vary. This is the location at Crocker Park, a good and bad thing... it's convenient but the H&M store there has a strange pull over me! read more

The staff there are always friendly and I just love the products TJ sells. As others have said, it is reasonable and there's a nice variety. It's kind of a weird shopping experience for me, but I do enjoy a stop while basking in the fakey fakiness of "Downtown Crocker Park". The aisles are a tight squeeze and you need to watch for kids and midgets pushing mini shopping carts into your shins while mothers buy "homemade meals". Actually, I've had mostly positive experiences on the prepared or semi-prepared foods. I love the Thai dumplings, pot stickers and such. I'm kind of leery of any pre-marinated raw meats with 2 week expiration dates myself, but I did try the bulgogi one time. Not a good experience. It was gross. But, other stuff seems pretty good. Lots of dipping sauces without corn syrup and other crap. Many organics priced at a premium ala Whole Foods. People that work there are always nice in a Stepford wife kind of way. The female shoppers dress for the occasion as they prowl the aisles. They do look good for old broads though. Favorites: JoJo's cookies, organic Maine blueberry syrup, those dumplings, fresh flowers, tiny little peanut butter or cheese filled crackers, nuts, dried fruits. Carry on. read more

My FAVORITE grocery store within my driving area! High quality groceries at very reasonable prices. People with special dietary needs will find what they need here, and people who just like good food (with no restrictions) definitely can indulge in special treats not find at those giant chain stores. I love the selection of European bread and baked goods and the many "house brand product" that are simply BETTER than the "name brands" found elsewhere. Fresh fruit and vegetables, a deli aisle featuring the very best of meat, seafood and dairy products.The candy aisle here is second to none! For wine enthusiasts, a nice selection is sure to please, while I prefer the variety of non-alcoholic beverages, flavored waters and juices. Also recommended are the all-natural soaps, household cleaning supplies and toiletries. If all other grocery stores had to vanish, with only one left to shop at, I would want it to be Trader Joe's that remains. Whenever you hear the "big bell" chime, another happy customer has completed a perfect purchase. I love this store. 5 Stars. read more

I weep. It's the end of an era. Trader Joe's no longer carries its own brand of root beer. Trader Joe's Root Beer was the BEST of its kind in the area.
