I'm looking into restaurants where I can host my daughter's graduation party. We recently heard about this place so I wanted to try it before considering it as an option. We went last night for dinner. Made a reservation for 6:30 and were seated immediately upon arrival. We tried the Eggplant Stack as an appetizer and were blown away! It was delicious!! Ambiance was great. The food was even better. This place does deserve 5 stars BUT the service... our waitress was horrendous. She had such an attitude, was rude and spent most of the night tending to her boyfriend who was sitting at the table next to us. He was yelling at her most of the night, which is probably why she had a poor attitude. I understand that the tip was included (which is not standard for a party of 3), but that does not mean that we should be gypped of a good experience. I came here with my family for dinner recently on a Saturday night. We made a reservation in advance, which I would recommend. It was pretty busy! We shared the calamari as an appetizer, which was crispy and fresh. For dinner, I had the meatball (served on top of polenta with marinara and ricotta) and the capri salad (greens topped with fried eggplant, red pepper, shredded mozzarella, olives, and an artichoke heart). My husband wanted to come here for his 42nd birthday. He was so excited to have the pasta and cheesecake again. They did not disappoint. I enjoyed my seafood ravioli more than I expected to! The clams were incredible. We made sure to enjoy all the extra sauce by dunking our bread. I believe our servers name was Emma. She was really sweet. General staff was almost too attentive to the table; as soon as you stopped eating they wanted to take the plates. It was way too long since the last time we visited here. Some things have changed a bit, but it seems brighter and very inviting when you walk in. Tasteful led lighting gives a nice vibe. The waitstaff is friendly, timely and not smothering but attentive. It's silly but the garlic, Parmesan bread they bring out is warm, crisp and delicious. A very good start. We opted to open with the buratta and prosciutto with fig jam. It was very very good. I chose the duck a l'orange for my entree. Gina went for one of the specials, house made rigatoni, huge chunks of lobster in a cream truffle sauce. My duck came with silky smooth mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The duck was very good, it was tender and juicy. I only wish the skin was crispier. Gina's dish however was flat out amazing. Probably one of the best dishes I've tasted all year. Honestly that good. We finished up with some Nutella gelato that was great. We will absolutely be back soon. read more

The owner & staff were very accommodating. We had a funeral near by. After the funeral we went to Traditions 118 . The food was excellent. This is my first time here, had dinner with my sister-in-law who recommended the place. We had a reservation, it wasn't too too busy. We were seated, appears they have multiple rooms with tables. Our server was nice , friendly, introduced himself. We ordered espresso martinis which were delicious. For the appetizer, we did the hot honey antipasta, which was really good. Dinner we had the chicken diavolo and chicken francese. My chicken francese was delicious, well seasoned, tender. We had to get the rainbow cookie dessert since that is one of my favorites. All in all I will definitely come back, highly recommend visit. read more

We were there yesterday for a retirement party for my brother. We were a large party of 35. All I can say is everything was absolutely delicious! Cocktails were perfect. Fried calamari, eggplant stacks, Sicilian pizza squares and cold antipasto for appetizers. Hanger steak, & chicken Madeira beyond delicious. The service is top notch and the room had a fire place and was warm and cozy! I highly recommended this place. Wish I lived closer because I would be there weekly. read more

This is our date night spot. Love their chicken caprise, rigatoni vodka, special calamari and caramel cheesecake!

Last night (1/4/24) was our second time dining here and unfortunately was not as impressed as the first time. I feel like servers were a bit off their game. Multiple people came to ask the same questions. They put an extra 1 in front of bill to make the price an extra $100. I'm not accusing this of being intentional, but the fact we only ordered a steak sandwich (which was mostly bread and cheese, and low-quality meat), and a pasta dish should have raised a red flag to the server who entered in our bill. The manager reversed the charge but was barely apologetic and behaved as though we interrupted him from something more important. We also feel the food is overpriced. I wanted a steak but $55 is way too much to spend. Based on last night's experience, I may be more inclined to review places after going multiple times. Below is what I wrote for my first review: Last night (12/19/23) we stumbled upon this place and we were pleasantly delighted with the beautifully decorated holiday cheer. Our server, John was very attentive, offered up recommendations and treated us very well. Julie ordered the Orecchiette Carlucci, which she found to be very satisfying, and my 118 Burger was cooked perfectly and was massive enough to take some home. The S'More's Flourless Chocolate Molten Warm nutella & dark chocolate fudge, toasted marshmallow, graham cracker crumb, peanut butter mudslide ice cream was an absolutely delicious way to end our meal. I love the food here so much, I crave it on the daily. The Sacchetti is my all-time favorite that I order every time I come. It is so full of taste and has the perfect portions of everything. My boyfriend and all of my friends really enjoy the spicy vodka chicken dish. It's not one of my favorites, but I'm not too into spicy food. The service is always attentive and the atmosphere is great for a date night or night out with friends/family. If you want dessert, the molten cake was just ok for me, but the ice cream it came with on the side was really delicious! read more

I came in tonight with my mother, on a slower tuesday night around 8pm, although they were closing up a kind young server named Nathan offered to take our table. He provided excellent service and was extremely attentive. He took care of both me and my mother (the more important factor to me). Our server Frankie was very sweet and attentive. Food was great - the four of us shared truffle fries and ahi tuna app, which were great. For entrees, my husband had the steak sandwich, which he said had way too much cheese, and I really enjoyed my halibut special (tomatoes, capers, onions over zucchini noodles). My martini was very tasty as well. One thing that really turned us off, however, was the woman who I am assuming is the manager/owner. When we were walking up, she was yelling at her young wait staff in a very rude manner "and don't talk back to me!" It was kind of uncomfortable and awkward for us to witness. Also, she did not wear a mask for 95% of the time we were there. There was another man working there (her husband?) who wore his underneath his nose. A friend of mine was there the night before me and mentioned the same thing about masks, even though they voiced their concerns. Have been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and was so happy when we finally did. The staff were so friendly and the service was amazing. Had a delicious dinner here! For apps we did the artichoke francese which was flavorful. The meatball in the marinara was delish excellent meat blend! For dinner I had the sweet potato gnocchi. It was very fresh and perfectly cooked. The chicken francese was tender and well battered and the it was perfect lemony and the spaghetti was cooked well and full of the francese flavor. We were a large group of 50(?) on a busy Sunday night, and were provided plenty of table space in our private room. Food and service were spot on. Why have I slept on this place for so long? I've known about it for years but didn't give it a try until the other night and let me tell you, it was incredible! I absolutely loved the chicken rigatoni alla vodka diabla thing. I wish it were spicier though. I love spicy food and it didn't cut it at all on the spice level. The rigatoni was cooked to perfection, perfectly "al donkey" the way my grandma used to make it. The chicken was great quality and very generous with the portions. Two huge cutlets sitting atop the pile of delicious noodle tubes. I also had truffle fries and they were awesome! I usually prefer shoe string crispy truffle fries and these were thick cut but perfectly truffled. I'm definitely ordering from here again! read more

Went here on 2/25/23 for a bridal shower that took up the whole restaurant part! The place is very small and a little rustic on the outside. But inside, the restaurant room is very big. My mom had a titos with shelzer from the bar, and i had a cavgnor saugvon. The red wine was very good, and the bartender made such great artistic various drinks. As part of the party menu, we had for starters a caescar salad. The salad was very good, where there wasn't too many dressing on it, or not too much cheese. Also as part of the party, we had choices of chicken capris, shrimp risotto or eggplant parm. my mom ordered the chicken capris, and i ordered the shrimp risotto. i totally enjoyed my shrimp risotto! it was really good! Went there with two other couples was very noisy and two of the meals were uneatable. The duck was burnt and all black on bottom and covered over with orange sauce. Giving this place 5 stars overall because it is worthy of that. The food is excellent and the menu is changed up from time to time with favorites always available. I expect more out of the service from a place as nice as this. Don't get me wrong...the servers are very, very nice and seem to try their best. They just need more training on attentiveness and responsiveness. The dining room was left completely unattended for long periods of time-- not a server or busser to be seen anywhere. When I say long period, I mean more than 2-3 minutes. No reason for this. Maybe I expect too much. Final notes. -Servers should not be auctioneers when delivering food to the table...know who ordered what and place it in front of them. -Serve the coffee preferably with the desserts or at least very close in time -Consider putting the bottle of sambuca on the table during dessert read more

This restaurant is a few towns over from where my parents live/where I grew up and we started coming here years ago when it first opened bc we knew the owners, and we continue to come back frequently because it is so good. Whenever you come here, you know you are going to have a great meal as well as great service. Everyone that works here is like a family and they treat you like one. The menu is such a great section, we always have a hard time choosing. No matter what, when we come we always order an eggplant stack for an appetizer, it is amazing. We also had the meatballs this time and they were also great. For dinner, I had the Branzino which was a special and I substituted the veggie side it came w for linguine. Very tasty, pretty mild but great. Everyone else I was with also enjoyed there meals. A longtime favorite! Always consistent and wonderful menu to choose from! Awesome drinks too. Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly and efficient service! Never disappoints! Lisa and Mike are the best hosts! Recommend the eggplant stack and calamari for appetizers and the fall of the bone ribs for main course.
