I was on a fishing trip with a group that had dinner at Molly Butler's our first night and decided to try Trail Riders for our last night. My fishing partner order flour tacos because he did not like corn tortillas, but our waitress talked him into try the corn ones. He said they were the best taco's he had ever eaten. I ordered the Chimichanga with Pork smothered in Green Chile and it was huge but one of the best that I had ever eaten also. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient in replacing cold draft beers and chips/salsa. Love their tribute to veterans. I'd highly recommend! read more

Great service. You have got to try the buttermilk syrup! It is something I had never heard of before.

Short version: WOW! We visited family in Springerville and we usually go to Booga Red's when we grab a meal out of the house. We hit Trailriders and boy, were we impressed! We ate several meals here over the holiday weekend and were never disappointed in the quality of food. We tried something from all areas of the menu and breakfast / lunch / dinner. Each time the entire family agreed that it was well worth it. Prices are very reasonable, and cheap when you look at the amount of food you get. There's a reason they call their burritos "burros" and if you don't plan to put away a lot of food, you should plan to split these things. Their chicken fried steak was amaaaaazing, and their red and green sauce are both really good (my preference is green). We totally plan to hit them up again the next time we're in town. read more

Mostly good. Ambiance was pleasant. Hash browns were undercooked and cold. I ordered a veggie omelet with sausage. It came with bacon, which was nice and crispy. I paid extra for sausage since there are no substitutions but they didn't give me a credit for the wrong item. Coffee tasted burnt. It was just ok. read more

Yelp did us right today. What a find! We stopped for breakfast and had southwest dishes. I had green chili smothered hash browns and my wife had green chili covered tamale with eggs and hashbrowns. We've lived in Arizona for over 30 years and the green chili was perfect. Enough heat for us but not super hot. Also this place is super patriotic which we consider a plus. read more

I'm big on service. First time there had a party of 10. Took forever to even ask if I wanted a drink. People came in after us and were served ahead of us. Food honestly was good. Server gave us our food and no napkins. Checked on us once. I understand your busy. But that's we're I give healthy tips when have good service. Debating on even going back. read more

Nice little spot in Eager, Az we stopped there for breakfast the other day. Found the staff very welcoming and friendly. I had bacon and eggs with pancakes and when I ordered the waitress asked me if I wanted to try their very own Buttermilk syrup (I know buttermilk, yuck right) But to my surprise it was a buttery sweet surprise. Also the eggs were cooked perfectly and the thick cut bacon was very good. If you ever find yourself in Springerville /Eager give this place a try. read more

Visiting from out of town and this place was recommended. Wasn't able to get there until 8:30 on a Thursday night. The restaurant side was shut down already so we had to sit in the bar and only apps and burgers/sandwiches were available to order (bartender's rules). Ordered a cheese crisp which was nearly the size of a pizza (pleasant surprise). Had 8 slices and was perfect for 4 of us. The salsa had a great flavor. I ordered the southwest turkey melt. I recommend trying this. Sourdough had a great toast to it (not too much to tear up your mouth), turkey had great flavor. I ordered the sweet potato fried and was also surprised to see they were waffle cut and crispy. Sweet potato fries are difficult to keep crispy, so good job! read more

We were looking to treat the whole family to a nice dinner while we were on the road. We found this restaurant and greatly enjoyed our meal. We appreciate the very attentive service. The food was wonderful! The waitress was nonplussed about the fact that we have seven kids and got everything out in a very rapid manner. Quant place in town, a little overpriced but the food we ate was good. Service was really good and several waitresses were very attentive. It was smothered in this awesome tasty sauce and had some tasty chunks of bacon in it. The chili releno breakfast was good too. Nice hash brown side makes for a heart breakfast as well. The Indian Taco Os Outstanding! This monstrous beast of a meal will not let you walk away hungry! We have visited trail riders a few times so far the food is always good, The prices were great for the good sized portions too! Wow! Leave place does not leave you feeling hungry at all. The portions here are country sizes, extra large! The egg burro is large, it can be enough for two. The relleno was descent, I felt like there was no meat stuffed in the chile. But still was delicious. I've also tried the nachos here and that can be shared with 4 people. I came to Eagar for an archery elk hunt. A local rancher recommended Trail Riders for breakfast or dinner. I ate there for breakfast and ordered the egg and bacon burrito smothered in green chili. It was very good and filling. The service was spot on. read more

On our way to the Lavendar festival and this looked like a decent place to stop. First impression was good, and the ice tea was ok, and the coffee wasn't great. We had the smothered breakfast burrito with red chili. I would expect a place like this so close to Hatch would have more heat and better flavor. I had the appetizer hot wings , they were delicious . Some of the best hot wings I've had in awhile . Came here with a group of friends after a long day hitting the slopes. We all ordered different foods. I had a burger with two patties on it. I ordered it medium, and it came out rare. I was fairly disgusted (because I do not like anything more than medium) and I couldn't finish it. I'm a burger man, so everyone was surprised. We each had different experiences with our foods. What saved us was the incredible service by our server, who was friendly, courteous, and relatable. Although, our food was subpar, the service was great. read more
