Their willingness to work with customers and tailor options to individual needs really sets them apart. Exceptional Team Members * Marcus (Salesperson Extraordinaire): Marcus was fantastic. He patiently answered all our questions and helped us secure a great price. His expertise and knowledge of the industry as a whole, honesty and friendly approach made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. We appreciated all of his tips and tricks while test driving and found his insight and attention to detail refreshing! * Justin (Financier and "Cliff Talker Offer"): Justin was incredibly patient with all our questions, especially when we raised concerns about General RV's service department Yelp rating. He walked us through the financing options clearly and helped us understand everything thoroughly. * Aaron (Parts Specialist): Aaron was straightforward and helpful, providing a clear list of must-have, nice-to-have, and cool items for our RV. His no-nonsense attitude was refreshing and very useful. I love that he did not try to sell us things we didn't need and answered lots of questions about water systems and electricity! * Jim (Walk-Through Expert): Jim gave us a thorough walk-through of the RV and explained all the features in detail, ensuring we felt confident with our purchase. * Andrew (Insurance Specialist): Andrew was amazing at finding the best insurance coverage and deductible combination within our budget. His expertise made a complicated process much easier. * Front Desk Team: The ladies at the front desk were attentive and helpful throughout. Even though they initially spelled our name incorrectly, they quickly fixed it and kept the atmosphere light with some friendly teasing. Areas for Improvement While the overall experience was great, the cleanliness and attention to detail inside the RV could use some work. There were small issues like the time wasn't set on the clock, dried chunky caulking around the outside lights and smeared on a window, and a receptacle so dusty that I initially thought its color was off. Improving these small details would elevate the customer experience significantly. Final Thoughts General RV in Wayland offers excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a variety of helpful programs that make RV ownership easier and more enjoyable - especially for a first time buyer. Save your money and don't buy it. The sales process was also very disappointing. The salesperson kept adding extra products and services, making the final price much higher than expected. I felt pressured into purchasing things I didn't really need. The biggest issue was that the salesperson assured me my current truck was capable of towing the camper. After I took delivery, I found out that wasn't true. I ended up having to replace my truck just to tow the camper I had purchased. I feel like I was misled, and that was extremely frustrating. To make matters worse, the very first time I used the camper, my vacation was ruined. The fresh water system appeared to be contaminated, with what looked like bug eggs in the water tanks, and the water coming out of the faucets had a terrible smell. I had to spend a good part of my trip on the phone with customer service trying to get help. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was just as disappointing. The representative I spoke with was rude and unhelpful, and the woman at the front desk treated customers with very little respect. It felt like they didn't care about resolving the issues after the sale. Overall, this has been one of the worst purchasing experiences I've had. I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I hope my review helps others avoid the same headaches, unexpected expenses, and poor customer service that I experienced.

Given the review that was first on here we were naturally a bit reserved in doing business with them but the staff made us comfortable and was very generous with time and explanation. The price was good and the time spent at their desk was minimal. The facility was well stocked and brand new. We decided to give it a shot and are happy with what we bought and how they treated us. Naturally you must always also consider what happens if things go awry, as Vicky's story and photos illustrate. I think the owner put effort in to fix but lots of in-hindsight bad decisions seem to be made by both sides. So, long story short, we went here, got a good deal and the exact trailer we wanted, good advice and speedy service. Hope this adds some balance to the rating. For trailers you can tow home: 0 worries that this is a great place to buy from. When putting shippers in the middle? Not sure if any place would come out clean.

They are supposed to honor ATC warranty work because they sell them there. At first they were helpful in servicing the trailer under warranty, but then decided not to service my trailer that was still under warranty. They told me it was because I didn't buy it from them, even though they are one of the biggest dealers of ATC in the Midwest. They also said they weren't going to sell them anymore because of quality issues, even though I see them for sale in front of the dealership every time I drive by. When I purchased it, they were all sold out because of Covid. I bought it in Indiana knowing they sold and serviced them In Kalamazoo. It's like having a Chevy dealership unwilling to fix a Chevy under warranty. I ended up having to sell it because they were the ones I was depending on to work on it. I lost 10k in the transaction. Luckily the person buying it from me was out of state and would never ever need Premier Custom Trailers for warranty work. What a nightmare they created for me as a customer! Do not deal with this company if you value your sanity and your dignity. My biggest financial regret in recent memory. On top of it, there is an attitude that quickly shifts against you if they no longer care about helping you. Avoid!

We googled towing services in the area and K&R popped up. A quick phone call later and a truck was on the way. In about 15 minutes or so Shay showed up with a flatbed and got us loaded up and we were on our way to the dealership in Grand Rapids. He dropped it at the service department and it wasn't long before we were back on the road! Shay is a true professional and has a great personality. Scam!!! Do not use this towing company. Had an accident, the police sent K & R Towing to tow my…read morecar when it was still driveable. First the driver asked me to get all of my things out of the car. I said no, I own the car need it towed to my house which was only 1.5 miles. Gave him a check when got to the house. He would not unload the vehicle into my driveway, I was specific that I will have it repaired or scrap it myself. Driver took off with my vehicle. Went town to their yard to get my car back and they claimed I had to sign the title over to them for the towing fee. I could not get the car back. This is FRAUD!!! Charged me $219 for 1.5 miles of towing and I could have scrapped it for $550. If the police ever call you a tow truck do not use this company.
