This is an outdated very charming diner. My friend and I happened upon it and it's become a favorite spot. Although it's not fancy and updated it lives up to the expectations of a diner in New Jersey. The coffee is great and hot the food is great and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and the diner is clean.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for a diner on our drive home. This came up highly rated so we gave it a try. All our food was really good. Very typical diner stuff so nothing was out of the ordinary. My 7 year old had the French toast and he ate every bite of his and some of mine (it's usually a fight to get him to eat). I had the eggs, toast, and sausage. The sausage was really good. It wasn't the typical frozen type we usually see at a lot of diners. I also had a bagel with cream cheese which was really good and fresh. My husband had the steak and eggs and a short stack. He said it was really good. Our waitress was very very sweet and help. She brought crayons for our kids and chatted with us. Great little spot. Felt very comfortable and familiar. I wish Yelp had half stars because I would def give it a 4.5. It had nothing spectacular but everything was well done, familiar, and friendly. Would def come back again.

Photo speaks for itself !!! yummy :) This was good!

I love the old fashioned feel of the place!!! Reminds me of my childhood we use to eat in places like this. The onion rings are real and the burger is delicious!!! Yummy :)

A major disappointment nothing really train oriented about this diner. Food was over cooked and sent back. Would not recommend.

The service here is usually terrible. The food is so so. Don't order the beef barley soup - it's very salty and greasy.

The food was not tasty. The fish and chips all were bland. Onion rings were difficult to eat. Would not go back.

It's a little house and then they have a few tables outside... With great umbrellas! It started to rain while we were there and we were totally covered by the umbrella. I wish the zucchini omelette had shredded zucchini instead of chunks. But the home fries were very tasty, the coffee was good old diner style coffee, and Orlando was a super server. Walked in before 10, was given a friendly greeting and had a cup of coffee in my hand in less than a minute. Great coffee. I find extremely strong brews overwhelm the subtleties of coffee (I imagine that puts me in a small minority, but I know what I like). Honey's coffee was great. Choosing from a couple of dozen enticing choices wasn't easy; I went with a Mexican omelette. Served with pretty good home fries and very lightly buttered rye toast, I couldn't finish it. Little by little the small space with about a dozen and a half tables slowly filled up, yet I was never rushed. The second cup of coffee was s good as the first, and it was topped off by another friendly waitress (love teamwork). The place did get quite loud, but the sounds of happy people enjoying great food is one of the joys of life. A small parking lot abuts the restaurant. I intend to go back and I highly recommend it.

With that being said the service we received here yesterday was outstanding and better than any five star restaurant. I cannot say how wonderful our waiter was.. I can't remember his name because let's face it. I had a few drinks because that's what it's about there. I believe it was. Giancarlo? So the manager if you see this, please let me know if that's correct or not. This kid was incredible. He was helpful without being overbearing. He was great with his beer knowledge, but we really sold me was when there was a table behind us that had a son with special needs at this young man treated that table with kindness and compassion and really we need more of that. To the owner of this business, I know that the wait staff gets a very minimal amount per hour because they depend on tips, but if there's anyway you can raise his base pay, I would love to see that we were only gonna have one drink each, but because of how he treated us we ended up having two for me and three for my husband, that young man is an investment

(Also, after 14 years, I have a little better appreciation of craft beers.) This was takeout, so I can't offer if anything has changed about ambiance. The order was prepared quickly, on time, and fresh. The food came back to us still hot and crispy, a sign of good care. And the food quality? Mwah. Everyone loved what they got. My bacon beef burger was juuust before medium, exactly how I wanted Great flavor, more guac than I thought as I ate through it. Good amount of fries, just need one recommendation: Dipping sauce plz. The appetizer of cheese curds was well stocked to satisfy my craving and came with the perfect dip. I get the feeling if we ate in-house, more dips would be provided on request. So that's bringing up to 4 stars. If I revisit in person, pray I alter it further. ;)

And hence, our meal was the not so regular Greek Salad and Spinach Pie. It seemed so strange to us that the Owner / Cheff kept peeking out of the kitchen to see "who is ordering the food." Possibly to service two types of food. Left overs for the tourists, and good food for the regulars. Maybe I am making this up. Anyway, here is what we got --- Greek Salad - soggy and wilted lettuce mixed with old greek feta cheese. Spinach Pie - double oiled and fried pie with old and terribly salty spinach stuffing. It has been a long time since I tasted food this bad. It seems to come around during the holidays, when restaurants get rid of their inventory on customers who may never return again. And, that is true all around. The food was old, and dumped onto us. We just paid the bill and walked out. We will not go there again. It was a Saturday night and it was really noisy. Anyway, we were seated right away. The server first took our wine and beer order. We finally caught our servers attention and mentioned the water. Our food arrived at least 35 minutes plus after ordering. The French Onion Soup and Goat Cheese Salad were delicious. The soup had lots of yummy cheese. The warm crispy fried goat cheese medallions were so darn delish! In the meantime, still no water. We asked the server again. The water finally came. The servers were very friendly. Think the pub could use a lot more servers, particularly on a Saturday night. The inside decor is a bunch of old wood shellacked tables. Think the furnishings could use a major upgrade. The food is what really impressed me. Based, on the good food, I would give Danaher's another try, but not on a busy weekend.
